Great location, but very basic hotel with simple rooms and modest breakfast. OK for business trips, I will not stay there if it was my vacation.

The best place on Ramblas, comfortable rooms and good service; however the food was cold at the breakfast.

Hotel location is perfect. Near everything walking distance. There's a bus for 6 Euros that takes you from the airport two blocks away from this hotel which is super convenient and saves you money rather than using a taxi. The hotel is near the market, the water/beach, lots of restaurants and bars, and stores for shopping! Great area to be. Rooms are nice. AC works. Accommodating staff. Good choice!

I don't know why the hotel has four stars. There is no hat and slippers here, there is no iron☝️ no, breakfasts in the restaurant are edible, but no more. On the roof of the truth there is a nice bar, tired from the road right then) Took a room for non-smokers and with a double bed. We arrived, went to the room, there are 2 FREE beds, moved to each other. They asked why it was so, whether it is impossible to change the room. They said no and that's it, no apology even.

Beautiful! We will return with the children… Clean, comfortable, spacious. Professional staff, courteous and qualified… A beautiful stay. Thank you.

My wife, son and I stayed here one night and you can't beat the location. It's on La Rambla, has a beautiful supermarket directly across the street and is a 3 minute walk from the big market. Check in was fast and courteous. The room was a bit small but clean and big enough for the 3 of us in 2 beds. I would highly recommend this place to a friend.

Staff spoke English well, were very accommodating, friendly, and held our luggage while our room wasn't available. Very good breakfast and the rooms were nice. I would totally stay here again!

4 star Hotel in Las Ramblas, more centrally impossible. Right menu. Very nice interior terrace in summer.

Great location, room is clean but small. Could find better value near by. Don't eat the breakfast here (16 euros pp). You can eat much cheaper in nearby cafes and in more interesting environment.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The hotel's location is central. Getting a cab, hopping on the bus or taking the metro are equally easy. The room had the lively view of La Rambla by day, however nights were even livelier, which was a bit disturbing, but when on holiday, I've learned to enjoy Our package included buffet breakfast, which though convenient, I do regret. We've decided to go out every morning for breakfast at local breakfast places at La Rambla just 5 minutes walk. One thing missing from the room was a comfortable arm chair to sit on to relax in the room.

According to my previous experiences of stays in Spain between poor and dirty hotels, I must say that the Rivoli Rambla deserves a vote, the structure is beautiful, the convenient location is the spacious rooms (at least the comfort where I stayed). Certainly not a 4 star of those we are used to in Italy, but if you enter without too many expectations comes out satisfied!

Great location. Decent rooms over looking la ramblas. Poor breakfast.

No way is this a 4 star hotel. Despite booking a room at the back the only room available was at the front. Even on the 5th floor the noise was unbearable. We moved to another (small) room at 5.00 a. M. The cold breakfast buffet was fine but the hot food was swimming in greasy water every day. The safety thermostat on the shower didn't work and was not fixed before we checked out.

We went to eat on January 1st and the New Year's menu was very good.

And luckily one pays x a comfort room shower glasses that dance… bathroom door that closes badly because it swells of wet wood…

Right in centre of the city and very close to many of the city's attraction. It's is situated on La Rambla Street which is beautiful. The rooms are also good and have the basic amenities.

Tidy and clean rooms, nice design, good position to visit the city. The parking is not available directly at the hotel, but you can book a private parking that is close to the hotel easily. Staff was friendly and all in all a really good experience.

WARNING! Stay at the hotel at your own risk. During my stay there (SEP 15th — 19th 2017) my suitcase with all its contents got stolen from my locked hotel room. Many other guests too found things stolen from their room. And to make it worse was the indifferent and callous attitude of the staff. Not one word of regret or apology. Its all done the night before u r leaving so u don't have time to realize it or take it up with the cops. Beware!

Great location. Excepted some noise of course but most seemed to be coming from other guests. Lovely room and great base for exploring barcelone. Close to transport links.

The location is very good, just in La Rambla, close to the Gothic neighborhood and with good transportation facilities (underground and bus). The rooms have been recently refurbished with comfy beds. But the windows are not good sealed, so it's cold inside whenever is cold outside. Also there is some nasty smell coming from the bath. In conclusion, if you just use the room to sleep, it's very convenient. If you plan to be in the room for long periods, ask before about their problem with the pipes. PS: You can also feel the passing of the suburban trains, at least in the first floors.

Very clean and quiet, especially for being on such a busy street. The air conditioning is a bit tricky to work and we have to be very careful to close the door as it doesn't latch easily.

The rooms were VERY small, but clean. The staff, however, were excellent! The manager was so helpful from everything to dinner suggestions to arranging a special taxi to the airport at 5:00 AM. The location was perfect for us… right on Les Rambles near the Gothic Quarter. It was very safe and a lovely area to explore day and night time.

Surrounding the garden of the Athenaeum, the terrace of the hotel Rivoli on the first floor is a green haven of peace.
Its cozy pergola and its refreshing source are an ideal place to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of las Ramblas.

Downside: **** they charge 2.5 euros a day for use of in-room safe key whilst advising customers not to leave valuables in the room — and there is no provision at reception — that would have cost 25 euros for ten nights for use of the key and safety — it costs them nothing. I think customers must all complain about this fee and not pay it. * the balcony was covered with pigeoin droppings and after a few days the bathroom started to smell of sewage. the room overlooking Ramblas was quite noisey until about 2 AM On the upside: — situation, top end of Ramblas near Catalunya Square and metro stops. — the restaurant waqs superb, good daily 3 coures menu for 15 euros including wine, water, bread and coffeee — the best deal and quality we found on Ramblas. — the hotel and rooms were clean, staff polite — good vie from roof — op terrace.

I stayed at here during the convention MWC2013 last year, good location and easy to access subway station. Breakfast is very standard.

We were in Barcelona last year for 3 days and stayed at the Rivoli Ramblas. We are going to Spain again and stay aging for 4 days. Great location to everything. Morning buffet just great, staff gave help any time you needed it. You can get bus pass at the hotel and they will assist when need.

Clean hotel with wood floor, nicely situated above the marvelous Ramblas. We had balcony on first floor, and it was nice to sit and watch the scenery. We got the hotel, for its clean good 4 star hotel with strategic access to Ramblas and Catalonya plaza. -Hatem.
