It is located in one of the best areas and does not affect noise. But, at least the single rooms are small, no work table (necessary for most customers who optfor this type of room). Inadequate distribution of the Hall-lavabo that you find when you open the room. Shower and WC with an inadequate and uncomfortable design for a 4 star hotel. There are cleaning details that are upgradeable.
"Room service" works in a certain way not very orthodox and uncomfortable for those of us who need it. The staff is lovely, very professional, and is vital to give excellent service to the hotel. Thank you to all of them.

It is a 4 stars hotel, that meaning is a good hotell with a verry nice relax area and verry professional working people. The hotell is look verry good and it is verry clean. He is in the heart of the street las ramblas. They have restaurant where every hour is full of people, the food is fresh and good. T The hotel have parking for cars, mini bar, room service!

Nice, clean hotel with quiet and well-aread rooms, perfect breakfast cakes, tinkers, and great cappuccino. Restaurant to reevaluate, Paella absolutely to avoid. Well situated, it has a few meters from the Boqueria, from Palazzo Geull, and close to the café Rambla where you can grab a great coffee and an exceptional apple pie and from Catalunja square where depart Tourist and urban buses.

Great location, modern room and a good staff. I'd rate it 5/5 but only after they fix their free Wi-Fi. It was faster to use my 2G data connection from the states at times.

Location is great just at the Ramblas Street which is one of the best touristic streets in Barcelona and Europe. The hotel is also next door to La Pomme Restaurant which offers really good Italian food. The same restaurant also serves the hotel breakfast. The hotel room are quite spacious. The hotel itself seems to have been refurbished (June 2018) and was super clean. Main thing that you need to be aware of is that porter finish work by 8:00 pm so if you check in around that time or beyond then you need to manage getting your luggage’s up your room by yourself. The hotel is a minute distance from the piazza de Catalunya where you can reach the main stop for the hop on&off buses for 2 companies.

Stayed for 2 nights, room was nice and clean with great view of Las Ramblas. Highly recommend. Great location.

My experience staying in this hotel was 5 stars and would recommend it to friends and family. Excellent location, at the heart of La Rambla. Walking distance to the sea harbour, marina, shopping mall, Catalunya square, metro stations, airbus to the airport at a price lower than 10 euros. Hotel room was with a view, clean, nice decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing too. Staff very helpful. Would definitely come back Royal Ramblas Hotel, keep up the good work!

Have spent four days here last summer. Very central location without noise pollution. Absolutely beautiful and clean room. Nice staff. Everything was handled quickly and to our satisfaction. We like to come back.

We only stayed here two nights and wish we could have stayed longer. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Las Rambles. We could look our our window and watch all of the action. The hotel is only two blocks from the metro. It is also where the Eurobus picks up to take you to the airport. The room was nice and large with plenty of storage space and a safe. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had in any hotel anywhere. Huge selections of pastries, breads, fruit, juices, cava, hot selections, and an espresso bar. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. There is a room on the second floor that is open in the evenings for drinks. Our last night we brought food in and ate it there. Be aware that they only have 220 outlets so we had to find converters to charge our phones and laptops. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here on our next trip to Barcelona.

I would recommend this hotel to people who like luxury. We had a very nice stay as we stayed in the sixth floor and got the view of the street. The service people were really nice. The hotel was really modern and they applied fancy appliances. The only thing that was wrong was the internet. We had four devices connected and wasn’t working that great.

Do not be fooled this hotel is NOT a four star hotel. From the moment we got to the hotel there was chaos. There were two people at the front desk who could not seem to cope. This was also reflected by their negative attitude towards servicing guests. The room itself was spartan. Needs major updgrade and was not clean. We had to move rooms as the first one we had was not cleaned properly. The room cleaning was very mediocre. The breakfast was EUR 16 per person. Limited selection and overcrowded. Rather have breakfast at milk bar round the corner which was much cheaper and 100xs better. The only positives were the location and the bell boy. He was the only helpful person with a smile on his face!

A 4 star Hotel but does not make one in real, especially considering the price that is expensive. The only thing positive is the location and the breakfast. If not, the bed is catastrophic and the Wi-Fi if you are a Gamer you can forget about it during your stay at the Hotel.
You can find cheaper and much better.

We were given a room that I didn't think was enabled. After the bed a glazed section that you could see everything. Where from left to right there was the following layout: Wardrobe/closet, washbasin, toilet and then shower (all together)

When booking they said they have a smoking rooms when checking in you will find the whole hotel is nonsmoking area. They check you in at any room even for special needs or side view with very bad Sean's with even tell you. Very bad service. When you check out you will find that you have to pay more money as a tax they didn't tell you about when booking online. …

Good hotel in Rambla 4 star like a 5 star hotel. I enjoy stay there but thay take 27€ for the parking lot in the hotel not good police.

Great location in the heart of the city. Easy to get to all tourist attractions but easy to roam about like a local off the beaten path. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, but very small. Bathrooms do not have a ventilator for steam but the setup really makes up for it. TV does not have any options for English (or foreign) subtitles and everything is in Spanish. Breakfast could be better as you're paying anywhere from 10 — 16€ for finger foods and desserts. Overall it's a nice hotel.

This place is right on Las Ramblas. The restaurant is great, with views of the street. Situated close to any number of eateries. We had breakfast at a different cafe every morning. Rooms are clean and neat. All kinds of shopping nearby. Close to public transportation. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in the center the flaw is the small room and with a strange smell with the shower and bathroom too little accessible There is no place to stay in two on this double sin for greatness if you just want to sleep it's okay to live Barcelona a few days no.

My husband and I stayed here in September 2016 and the location was great. We were close to everything. The Hotel staff was very helpful and answered all our questions and made some good recommendations. Room were a comfortable, quiet, clean and very reasonably priced. We stayed only 2 nights after a cruise and we were glad we stayed at the Royal Ramblas. I am recommending this Hotel to a good friend of mine.

Expensive, but you're paying for the location. Staff are a mixed bag with some being quite curt whilst others are very polite. Our room was great though. Very well designed, spacious and tidy. Located in the back of the hotel, we didn't have to deal with any road noise. Wi-Fi was pretty solid too.

Very nice urban hotel. Literally ON the Ramblas. Great continental meals and VERY good service and politness… recommended.

2 nights in the month of October we have been and we loved, especially its location which is great and all the staff who were at all times muyh kind.

The hotel is soo small … 4 star hotel no way … No gym … I am soo sad … The Wi-Fi speed is approximately between 0.7 to 1.9 … Slow … And the electric close for approximately 10 minutes … This was bad … They will give you coupon for pool and gym but there are in a hotel … You should walk approximately 10 minutes.

Great location near a lot of restaurants, subway and shops. Pretty pleased with the room however they need to sound proof the walls! You can hear doors of other rooms slam shut all day.

First night in Spain. Loved it in this hotel!

In no way is this a 4 star hotel. Lacks basic amenities. The rooms which are priced 150 euros are as small as a ship cabin. Rooms around 200 euros a night are like super small too. Friendly staff. But horribly over rated hotel. Would never waste money here. The restrooms are insanely small. You can get top class hotels at the same price. Thumbs down to this one.

Almost perfect location but noisy too.

Great location close to all the main transport facilities. The hotel itself was good as were the rooms but not sure it was quite up to the stated 4 star standard. Staff were friendly and helpful but breakfasts were expensive and the lack of a bar was disappointing.

I was 4 days in Barcelona, I loved it! The people in the hotel were very nice and it was really pretty.

Good hotel in Barcelona — you can easy reach of many places. I advise you dont ask for taxi from reception. It will be costly. Take it from street.

This is in a good location, we were on the 5th (which is really the 8th) floor and they have two separate windows which was good as the noise from Las Ramblas was loud so that cut it out. But this hotel has no bar or chill out area, we asked for a double room and got a twin with the 2 beds just pushed together, not good as we went for our 1 year anniversary and really spent the week sleeping in seperate beds on wheels, I woke up one night inbetween them! The service was ok, but when we got their they just said heres your key go upstairs — No, breakfast is on the first floor, your internet pass is here, room service is blah blah and no mention that you get 10% off at the ajoined Pizzeria! Overall was good and clean but with a bit more effort and Double beds this could be much nicer.

Great location, nice rooms big enough for 2 adults and 2 children under 7 years of age. Reasonable price, service at the front desk somewhat impersonal.
