Good breakfast, good Wi-Fi. Amazing location right in the centre of town. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were immaculate. Bigger rooms than expected with air conditioning and great cleaning services. Printers available too.

The First impression was not great… Rather Then in this ancient palace on the Rambla in the center we had a great time Maybe the rooms should be a bit ' overhauled but still nothing serious Great service professional concierge and attentive to every request We will refrain.

A hotel ideally located close to the Gothic quarter, the staff is welcoming and the rooms are clean and without fuss. The breakfast is plentiful but not very tasty. If you are looking for luxury and modernity, this hotel is not for you otherwise it will fulfill its simple function for visitors who are just looking for a bed.

Stayed here one night after cruise. Room was small but clean. A/C worked well. Location was great. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast since I had an early morning flight. I would stay here again.

Historic Hotel on the Rambla of Barcelona. Internally you notice that it is an ancient building with majestic staircases that divide on the landing to finish in two side ladders that lead you to the next floor. To be a two star has very low prices, the rooms are clean with mini fridge, safe and television with many channels of many different nations. The Belvedere on the Rambla is quaint. The only drawback is the breakfast, the drink is not the best, but oh well. The staff is very accurate, impeccable and really friendly and warm!

Location was perfect. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was good — nice variety but the hot dishes were only lukewarm. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Small Centrales Hotel. Perfect for City people. With open windows you can not sleep.

The hotel is in the heart of the city, the price and quality of which is very decent for a stay including breakfast, booked 2 on arrival got keys from 3 overlooking La Rambla, small but very nice (slept separately).

This hotel is in a fantastic location right on Las Ramblas near the port end. Hotel itself is basic but spotless and with helpful pleasant staff, rooms could do with updating but plus points good showers, mini fridge and safe. Breakfast buffet was really good plenty of fresh food and helpful staff. For the price and location of the hotel I would definitely recommend it and return myself.

Let's start with cons.
The room was very clean.
Rooms from 208 – 219 overlook the closed courtyard where the cuisine of the tapas bar is downstairs. The window cannot be opened as it smells of old oil and fried fish.
The beds are very short, if your height is larger than 180 cm then the legs will dangle.
The main and only plus of this hotel is its location. The breakfast was good, the food was good.

This is a 2 star hotel with a with a 4 star rating in the 2 star category. In other words, the 2 star is correct in my opinion. The service was 3 star. All the staff are nice but just doing a job. The furniture was basic motel 6 circa 1985. The Wi-Fi was good. Use a VPN since you are on La Rambla. The noise was significant. You will hear the subway rumble almost all night long. And of course your neighbors coming in at 2 am. And all the people on the streets. The breakfast was surprisingly decent. The elevator worked. We actually booked this by mistake but it worked out. The best part is you can walk from here to all the good stuff, or catch a cab or the subway. Its a 5 minute walk to La Bouqueria, the market. Out the door, turn right and you are in the Gothic quarter. 15 minutes to the cruise terminal by taxi. Oh by the way, walk across La Rambla to catch a cab heading toward the water and the Columbus statue. That avoids a much larger taxi bill going to your cruise. In early December there was a cold snap which kept the crowds down. I did not worry about pickpockets here like I did 10 years ago, but they are still around so button up.

Perfect for a night or two before a cruise! 7 minute walk down to the shuttle. Noisy in a balcony room but great atmosphere. Quieter rooms at the back. Great service from the breakfast attendant!

We were very pleased. For Barcelona very good price performance ratio.

The place is very well located at La Ramblas near to the ferries, Barrio Gotico and Maremagnum. There are 2 nearby stations (Drassanes and Liceu) both on the same distance, but Liceu has an elevator. The staff of the hotel is very friendly, rooms are clear although very tiny, but worked fine for me. I stayed in the backwards of the building, which was fine, because it was very quiet to sleep at night. The breakfast is good enough. Worths for the price paid.

Modest place, good breakfast and very friendly staff. The area is central, with lots of movement and noise day and night.
The price per room seemed excessive, but clearly it is the price that must be paid because there is a lot of tourist demand in Barcelona.

Excellent value for money. A bit dated but good overall cleanliness. Modern bathroom with soap and foam bath. Friendly staff. Safe and air conditioning of the latest generation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Possibility of "gluten free". Strategic place directly on the Rambla and a stone's throw from the Metro.

A set of services is standard, Spartan, but you can live. The main minus is real noisy! You can't sleep. Rambla to lower the price, not to raise it. Plus: The computer with the printer is a landing printout.

The room was really new, I think it was renewed some weeks before our arrival. It was all perfect, buffet breakfast was relly great and … unlimited with bacon cheese croissants and everything else :) good stay!

167 years old. Chopin and Hemingway stayed here. But utterly unpretentious, even though it provided everything I really needed including a room for an extra night when Lufthansa let us down, a place to take out printouts of tickets and checkout at 3 am. La Ramblas is a rough and tumble area but with access to the most interesting parts of Barcelona, but I felt very safe here.

Prices too high, breakfast not good but great location is on the Rambla.

Excellent quiet with good persons ALOM completely when slim breakfast and location were stopped twice in June. It's all good.

At first we were not thrilled with the hotel. My husband's wallet had been stolen, and the front desk was not overly sympathetic. However, once we calmed down and moved on, we found the staff to be quite helpful and friendly. Additionally, they found my car key in the room after we had left, and mailed it back to us, which was a life saver. The location is fabulous, although the beds are small, and not the most comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was nice. I would describe the place as "shabby chic. " A great location, right in the middle of the Bari Gothic.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel and I have to say we were amazed xchè X being a 2 star service is great! The rooms are spacious and equipped with everything you need but mostly they are clean. The hotel is quiet and the staff are very friendly and helpful. X finish the location is optimal and the metro station is at no more than 300 meters! Recommended.
