Hostal MiMi Las Ramblas Hostel

Staff was very helpful and friendly and rooms were cute and quaint.

Comfortable bed well worth the price. Convenient location off La Rambla, two supermarkets near. Lots of place to eat. Elevator to the 4th floor balcony overlooking street. Helpful staff.

Great space. Our private room was great with sink in room. The reason not for 5 stars is I believe you could be more involved in nightlife and pubs. Many of the other hostels offer alcohol, nightlife adventures and other things to do.

It's right in the centre.
People are friendly here and keep helping you if you want to know after something about Barcelona.
Our room was sour.
A minus point is that the showers are shared with other guests.
This means 3 showers for about 10 people, when all rooms are fully booked.
Otherwise everything was good.

I loved this place! I have to admit entry scared me but once you go up the tiny lift or several flights of stairs you will be surprised. A real gem, lovely staff and great location. I will stay there again on our next visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mimi. The view was fantastic, hotel clean, & super accomodating, the price was great, & the staff really lovely! The building was a bit off-putting, but don't let that put you off. Go on up to Mimi either in the elevator or the stairs & the staff will have you sorted in no time. The place is really a hostal on one side & upgraded private rooms (hotel) with a view of Las Ramblos on the other. Great location beach at bottom & attractions at the top of the busy street. Great pizza take away right outside Mimi's door to your left. Perfect Stay!

Everything top unfortunately, the front door to the building was always open. Which didn't necessarily make you feel good. As the building is very close to the famous La rambla.

We spent 6 nights at MiMi and we had a great experience. Everyone is friendly, clean, fresh towels and a quiet place wich I wasn't expecting as we are in a hostal in the heart of the city, but we were very happy with a calm atmosphere. They have a coffee machine with an amazing coffee for only 1 euro! Great location and good value as well.

Good atmosphere and treatment, economic next to the Rambla. They leave you earplugs in the room because of the noise in the street. Next to the Güell Palace. The building is old and smells of humidity, but the hostel well.

Ideal only to spend the night and sleep, good location, 20 meters from Las Ramblas.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only downside is the trascuratissimo entrance of the stable.

Price-performance is right here.

Hostel well located, basic, staff very friendly.

Very clean room, but a little bit small. But for few days it was a great option! Neat the city center.

Comfortable beds. Big room. Felt like we paid for a hotel. The shower was a little gross though, looked like mold on the shower door. Otherwise the room was cleaned every day with fresh towels.

The attention very nice, and very well located in the city. The neighborhood, with enough movement, it is somewhat noisy, which is a little annoying taking into account that the windows are huge and old, but neither is it anything very serious. Sometimes there is some noise from other rooms, like something out of music, etc. But in general we had no problems. Will people of various nationalities, which is quite rewarding, especially thanks to the central room that has in which they serve the breakfast, where you can talk with other guests if you coincidís. The bathrooms are 3, and are equipped with what is right and necessary, and usually does not have problems with them as there are not many rooms, so that is usually free at least one of them.

Great place to stay in barcelona! in the town centre and close to everything! Hostel simple but cosy with everything you need and very clean! The mattresses are very comfortable and the Wi-Fi is perfect! The noise according to the day is the only downside (but this is normal as these in the centre of barcelona), but I provided plugs for free! Totally recommended if you are looking for rather cheap, simple, clean and cosy right in the centre… staff very friendly and young… me like! Being very well located, there are always people hosted, which gives much life to the hostel to meet people… in short perfect with two things that can be improved… the sound (which I think k it is impossible to avoid) and the entry that this severely damaged by acts vandalicos and does not give very good feeling… but as soon as you enter you change your perception! If I go back to a hostel I'm definitely going to Mimi!

We have been spending a few days and the truth is that the price-quality ratio is very good. The treatment they gave us was super friendly, the state of the rooms very neat, all very clean and tidy. And best of all is that we were able to bring our dog, which we also solved a big problem. Sure that again!

If you want to stay on Las Ramblas, this hostel is your worst option. The reception was extremely incompetent. They literally MOVED all of our suitcases, clothes, etc WITHOUT TELLING US from one room to another EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A RESERVATION. Not only that, but when we asked them about it, they told us, and this is a direct quote, "there is nothing we can do but talk. " Do not stay here!

Best hosting not we could choose. Hostal albi is located in the Gothic quarter, with beautiful rooms and excellent service with the tourist. Their staff is very warm and we helped with maps and tickets discounts for our visits around the city. The order and cleanliness is excellent and a good breakfast to start the morning with energy. The building is historical, which makes it more pleasant stay. We recommend all travelers who want to discover a beautiful city and relax in a pleasant accommodation. Thank you and come back soon.
