Super nice deal, I had a great time! The waiters and doormen very friendly, a lot of security. Would definitely come back!

The breakfast was amazing with good coffee and espresso. Location is excellent, right in front of the Catalonia cathedral which is one of the main attractions in Barcelona. The vicinity is nice walking area have a lot of shops and some brands with a good prices especially in the sale. Also the traditional weekly market held at the open area between the hotel and the Cathedral. Few minutes to Rambla street.

I was impressed with this hotel from start to finish. The breakfast was amazing every morning and the staff was extremely helpful. Beautiful room, and a very nice terrace with a pool. Made my stay in Barcelona unforgettable!

Comfortable, clean, pool, gym, good breakfast options. AC, Wi-Fi. Good service. Good location. Close to a number of shopping areas and not too far from the marina. Pool and gym aren't 24hr! Freshly squeezed orange juice with breakfast! One thing — beware of salt — food in Barcelona can be awesome, but so heavily salted! Starbucks across the street. Good metro system. I would stay again!

Very good hotel located next to the square of la Ramblas and Boulevard de la Ramblas you can visit the center of Barcelona all is nearby but the hotel is at the top.

It is a great Boulevard we meet all the people from country of the world and it Deser all that one wants to see.

Great location, very close to the Rambla blcd, and other attractions in the city. Ex. Large room, clean and cozy. Staff is very polite, and willing to help. Fresh fruit is served at breakfast. We had a great stay.

We went to a meeting and the room was huge, well lit, with a good appetizer and very good temperature, all excellent.

Great hotel located right in the centre close to Catalonia Square and the Ramblas, spacious and well-equipped rooms, friendly and professional staff. Breakfast and top and there is even a spa with indoor and outdoor pool.

I went for a walk, a drink, and some clothes. We went to the Pull N Bear and to other shops in the area. After buying a coat we went to take a Bubble Tea to the Bubbolitas. All very good, plan recommended.

Nice hotel in a very good location. I had the impression that the hotel was made up of two hotels. The newer part in which the reception is located and the older part "Pelai" which seemed to me very small part. You have to be careful not to dwell on the street. It's really noisy, despite the double windows, you can hear the buses and motorcycles that are moving in. I had asked for a quiet room in advance and was brought into a sinister hole to a tiny courtyard. From that I came for full occupancy only by making a €35 upgrade which then brought me to a room on the 5th floor to the street… well. Everything was not so great, but I also know that others were quite satisfied.

Good location and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and a good size. Bathroom was good, had a bath and separate shower.

Very good hotel, very nice staff, in all the center of Barcelona, the exceptional services, the spectacular spa, cleanliness very well, the beds super comfortable and despite being in the center the windows have an anti noise system that makes you do not hear Absolutely nothing from the outside. Breakfast was very good. And finally, my group on the last day had to pay the tourist tax that instead of contacting the agency decided to start asking people, it was a really uncomfortable gesture, but as I say the staff always very nice and attentive, immediately when I told them they stopped asking that fee to fix it with my agency.

Great hotel only a few minutes walk from the top of the Ramblas, so in a very good location. There is a Starbucks opposite for breakfast. It has a pool as well with outdoor seating and bar. The gym only had a few pieces of equipment in it. Spacious rooms and bathroom.

Very central and staff quite attentive and helpful. It is Not in the Ramblas but close… Rooms have no drawers at all! Should have some form of night lighting. The hotel is a kind of maze! Spa is closed for renovation and the Internet does not signal this! Breakfast is great.

Stayed here for business for a few days. Do have to admit that this place offers very good value for money. The hotel appears to be modernised recently. Rooms are very large (at least mine was) and come with good air-conditioning, balcony and great beds. Breakfast is like it suppose to be. Only, small, downside is that the layout of the hotel is like a maze: you will get lost every now and then looking for elevators and such, but there is always friendly personell nearby to help you.

Very good. Location on the Grand Avenue side, Metro and the train has a site on the side. Hotel front desk staff are very friendly, in accordance with the requirements as we had hoped, and arranged a great room. Room was clean spacious and comfortable. Have the opportunity to have selected this!

Frankly it is far from the 4 stars, no one speaks french, missing a towel when we're treated half of thief, asked us to pay for the stay arriving without seeing the room and better understood, it is clean, but it is not exceptional. The descent of water used in the House and not isolated acoustic of course! No I don't advise anyone this hotel you are just a number in their eyes! It is the 3 star not 4!

Nice location. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a small but nice pool. However, the service leaves to be desired.

A HARROWING experience, not to speak of the hotel because I have not hosted. I had a voucher for Groupalia including spa, massage and juice for two people. Legamos ten minutes late and made us into the spa directly, if that can be called spa. The enclosure was too small and above the majority of the facilities that the voucher promised are non-existent, apart from that one would not and the other does not work very well. After a good time in the spa we decided to ask for the massage and we were told that as we had arrived, I repeat, ten minutes late, not had massage, which when bookings do not warn you and I am still having my doubts that it is not a theft of my money and nothing more. Finally, there is only one dressing room very small, which is in the same reception and for more inri there is no hair dryer (not even a miserable plug to plug in yours, if you bring). Ah! And the juice or smell it even what I'm expecting. In summary DISAPPOINTING, I don't think back and to the tenants of the hotel I recommend you save yourself the experience.

A DISAPPOINTING experience for a 4 star hotel in the heart of Barcelona hotel.
I speak of the SPA because we only had this service contract. Very small place, you change a junk room and showers have semi-transparent gate that leads to the main hall. You could not at the same time enable stays more than two because wouldn't the wet sauna too hot, they made us a massage and nails nailed to my colleague. Worst? see a huge cockroach in the SPA and that they did not want to do anything, we were told that a water site "it was normal". After getting serious was killed reluctantly (and with a towel, which they then offer). Overview? I try and lousy service. I do not recommend it for anything.

I think this hotel is good. I did not feel that the the people in the reception was unfriendly, though the check-in took long time. The room was clean and nice.

This hotel in Barcelona Spain is a dump. A smell of sewer was coming out of the bathroom and there is always something wrong happening while we were there August of 2010. The patio door handle was broken during our stay so we could not open the door to the patio. The thermostat was not working properly so we have to manually turn on and off the switch to regulate the room temperature. The front desk people were not friendly especially one guy named Mario. Rude and no customer service skills whatsoever. Very disappointing considering it is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. We will never go back there. I should've listened to some of the blogs that I've read about this hotel. The only thing that made this stay nicer was the bar tenders. They were all friendly and professional and helped us plan the things to see around Barcelona.

I found very good at hotel Catalonia Ramblas, because was very clean, staff always gentle and at your disposal. Well situated in the Centre of Barcelona. Advise it to all the turistar who want to spend a good and quiet night in Barcelona. Maggiani stefano.
