I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! It was clean, the rooftop pool is fantastic, the lobby is elegant, and the staff are so helpful. Jose at the front desk went above and beyond to give great service. I feel very lucky to have found Hotel Lleo. They played a huge part in how much I enjoyed Barcelona!

Well equipped rooms, great service, a great roof-terrace with pool and a very good location (next to place de catalunya) are the positives properties of this hotel. Gut ausgestattete Zimmer, guter Service, eine schöne Dachterrasse mit Pool und die sehr zentrale Lage (direkt am Place de Catalunya) zeichnen dieses Hotel aus.

Tonight the power was cut off on the first floor and there were no maintenance staff in the hotel. We had to wait almost 1 hour for the issue to be fixed. There were only 2 people in the hotel. One receptionist and the other was the cleaning staff. Finally no electrician came, he spoke on the phone with the cleaning lady. A disgrace being a hotel of this category. Also the walls are so thin that you can hear what you are talking about in the adjoining room.

Good value, clean has recently been modernised. This is our third stay and can certainly say it has improved over last 3 years. As always staff are friendly & helpful. Good selection of food at breakfast, self-service in new cafeteria. New bar is good and used by residents, drinks reasonably priced & food available. Would certainly recommend.

The best part is the location. It's close to major markets and Catalunya. The hotel is very comfortable and homely. The sitting area is really huge and modern looking. Breakfast was elaborate but could do a little more of hot items and more variety in fruits. The rooms were huge but our bathroom was very old fashioned and dingy. Reception staff weren't too friendly. Infact two of them were rude too.

Initially given a room stuck in the 70s. After a complain the manager did give us a more modern room. Location is brilliant can't fault the place.

The only reason this hotel received 2 stars is because the location of the hotel was excellent. We did not like the front desk staff, as they were not very nice or helpful. The housekeeping was subpar and rude when asked for extra towels. I would not recommend staying here. There’s plenty of hotels with great locations in Barcelona.

Clean and close to everything.

Helpfull, friendly staff. Reception was being renovated so no downstairs bar or waiting area but looked like it would be lovely when finished. On a down side they are slow to tidy tables and reset the tables at breakfast.

Excellent choice! In Plaza Catalunya, the amazing breakfast, the rooms super comfortable and beautiful the terrace with pool on the top floor of the hotel. Fully recommended, reasonable prices.

I have been to this hotel for a few days. Central area and well served by public transport. Professional, attentive and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast.

Antiquated rooms, non-working lifts, strong sewage smell in the bathroom. Breakfast was good, Wi-Fi worked well.

The location of the hotel is undoubtedly the best, just 2 blocks from Plaça Catalunya and Metro stations, the bus Aeropuerto"aerobus" leaves you to a 1 street, the rooms are comfortable and perfect to rest, the breakfast included is varied and fresh, the attention is good and they keep luggage without any cost. Wifi throughout the hotel. Good option to stay in Barcelona.

Hotel in quiet, very well located, close to all transport, very spacious room, with can be a small refreshment, plus a shower curtain for the bathroom of the room 418 some extra power outlet as 2 for a large room Certainly these are just small details. Conclusion; Very good value for money.

Very central Hotel in Barcelona with a very well maintained facilities good service is three stars but is better than a four with pool and solarium amazing quality price.

I like it very much, nice and so kind reception — decent room and facilities — good variety in breakfast — nice room space wz minibar and coffee tray.

We had an allround great stay at this hotel, and both the staff, breakfast buffet and the service provided was exellent, and the room and facilities surprisingly spacious and luxuroius. The only complaint would be the not so functional climate control in the room; we had to buy a blanket to stay warm, and the kind of slow Wifi☺ recommended!

It is a very clean hotel with friendly staff that speak good English and helpful. Great location because it is in the centre of the city very close to the bus and metro station, within 5' walk from Las Ramplas and a lot of others.

Stayed here for 3 nights and would recommend it. Very modern and very clean. When leaving early for flight had no time for breakfast so they made us a packed lunch. Beds are comfortable ans lovely pool on roof was great to relax. Near las Ramblas and a taxi rank at the door. Very handy. Thanks for all hotel Lleo from Ireland X.

Got to start by saying the location for the hotel is absolutely amazing, it is right next to everything you could want for a trip to barcelona! The hotel is being renovated at the moment which so far looks great what they have done but the rest is in need of it. Rooms are currently a little dated and shabby. I'm sure if they renovate the whole place the same as the lobby it would get a 5 star rating from me but currently it doesn't. The grouting is pretty mouldy and the bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub that looks pretty dubious to be honest. Our room as on the first floor which is very close to a bar that plays music pretty loud music untill 10pm which isn't to bad and won't affect you if you are on second floor or higher or stay out late. TLDR: location amazing rooms are large but a little shabby perfect for the not to fussy traveller.

The quality of the room was excellent and the location is perfect. Also very friendly and helpful stuff, however lacked variety in the breakfast menu as well as the food wasn't that good. Finally the building was old yet I highly recommend it.

Lovely hotel. Great location, very clean with friendly staff. Refurbishment of the reception area was underway whilst we were there and it looks like it will look beautiful when finished. Great roof top pool. Drinks from the bar were expensive, but there's a supermarket across the road so just buy drinks there and take them up. Will definitely return to this hotel without doubt.

My room was a good size and clean. The hotel itself is modern and has a great breakfast area with a lot of food options. Plus, the waterfall shower is amazing!

The location is convenient to reach by the metro line 1. Rooms are nice with adjustable beds. And staff are helpful and friendly. The only downside was that we were unaware of there being construction done on the main lobby at the time of booking.

Have had a good experience for a few days in Barcelona! The location was central and close to la Rambla. The beds are comfortable and done well. Bathrooms are very spacious and modern with several functions to the showers. Very impressed with the breakfast, had plenty of options of meats, cheeses, breads and pastries. The rooftop pool was great (though cold at the time). The staff spoke English and were very kind.

The old rooms (I was in the 412) leave really to be desired, by tapping their noses. The location is great and the staff nice but not enough.

The hotel is a little old-school. TV channels not as on the list — no international channels. Minibar is empty, so it's just a fridge. Batchroom huge and with jacuzzi bath tub. Rooftop pool is good but not heated so only good in the hot summer. Laundry service is great and rrasonably price. I didn't try the breakfast as there are plenty of cheaper alternatives around.

Lovely hotel, clean modern room with comfortable beds and a good shower. Situated in an ideal spot just off las ramblas.

Disgusting, well that stopped one day. The entire hotel smells like decolongon as if in each corner was poured into the vial. In the room the smell of chlorine was so strong that sleep was not possible.

For what they charge. The rooms should be better.
