Imagine that you are one of the hotel guest dining in the Banquet Hall. Would you not find it nauseating to see waiters scraping leftover food from your plates/plates from others into a pile in front of you? Especially if you are from a westernised culture. Why not eliminate this negative factor by holding a multi-tiered rack in one hand; remove guest’s plates from the table with the other free hand and insert into the multi-tiered rack? Why not use this method of clearing plates for All Food Courses? The waitress would be able to clear 5 or 6 big plates using the rack instead of 2/3 big plates by the conventional method. Not only would this improve productivity, customer service, and eliminate unpleasant feelings to the Hotel Brand, most importantly it will significantly increase Sales, Profits and your Salary Increments and Bonuses. On a separate note, there is the only way of flipping the round banquet table to stand on its legs. Often the waiter needs to look underneath the table or try flipping the table around to try to find the right side to lift the round table. Why not simply stick two black tapes on opposite sides of the round table to indicate the optimal position to lift the table up vertically to close and roll it? The tapes would be hidden by the table cloth. The above could not be patented and would bring significant benefits to you. You could simply spare three mins to delegate this task to your assistant so she/he can delegate others to carry out the necessary review and implementation. By championing this change as a new project, this would look great on your curriculum vitae and justify for significant salary increments and huge bonus payouts.
