Great hostal in a very picturesque setting. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and nice bedding. Nice clean bathroom although the water wasn't very hot in the shower.

I definitely recommend this hostel. In addition to the structure, organization and cleanliness, the staff are very friendly and kind.

Really nice and helpful staff, and great location! really loved the decoration & the atmosphere. Some books and boards games are available.

Stayed 4 nights in a river view suite with a fabulous view across the river to Porto. The very clean room was great with comfy bed and large bathroom. Breakfast was very nice and served fresh.

This hostel is the best one I have ever been to. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and caring. Breakfast is elaborate and something to look forward to, at the cozy communal table.

One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever seen. As a couple we had a seperate room but with shared bathrooms. All seemed to be perfectly fine. Service at the counter was also very nice.

A truly wonderful, beautiful, and quiet place with excellent service. The location, rooms, and bathrooms are five-star and more. The staff is incredibly friendly and wonderful.

If there were ten stars, I’d give ten stars.

We stayed in a double room with a bathroom and it was great. It was very clean (also the common kitchen). It's an old mansion, but very well renovated.

What a pearl in the city of Vila Real! Great accommodations, the rooms are very nice, and the shared areas are also very nice! The kitchen has what you need (except for a smoothie machine).

Great room quality, cheap price, breakfast included in form of swedish table, quiet and beautiful localization, great window view. 100% recommend this place.

Overall are fine, the staffs are very friendly. The kitchen does not provide lots utensils but is okay to use.

We loved Rivoli Cinema for a family hostel in Porto! They provided both a baby cot and highchair for our use and the staff were wonderful with our kids.

You can go shopping just downstairs, and the location is very convenient with easy access in all directions. It’s also very close to the metro station.

Family run and cozy. Great to be able to cook breakfast, or they'll make it for you. Great location, very close to the river. Bathroom could use work. Staff was great.

Clean, modern accommodation just up the hill from the river.
It's on the Gaia side, but you can easily catch a river taxi over to the Porto side, or metro or an Uber.

Very nice hostel with good location near city center. Rooms are spacious. Slept on the 6 female dorm, there are more than enough shower and toilet space (2 for each). They provide towels and soap.

Right at the metro station from the airport. Close by there are many supermarkets and shops. The host is absolutely lovely and kind.

We had a lovely stay, the property is right next to the metro station. It's clean, beautiful and has a very tasteful classical style. We definitely recommend the breakfast, which was exceptional.

The hostel is clean, warm, and welcoming. The showers are great and have hot water. There's free breakfast included (I only had cereal) with lots of options — plus the kitchen workers are very sweet.

Pousada da Juventude Coimbra offers a great location near the city's main attractions, friendly staff, and clean facilities. The atmosphere is social, making it ideal for meeting other travelers.

First the good:
1. The reception clerks were super friendly and accommodating.
2. The location is great, right next to the river and just 1km from the center.
