Located in the historic University precinct, the hotel is modern and stylish with artsy and literary features. Delicious glass of port on arrival. Breakfast and dinners in the hotel are good.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Batalha en Leiria. Nice clean hotel with very comfortable beds. In spite of being short walking distance from the monastery, it was very quiet at night.

Sadly I had only one night in this beautiful place, but I'll be back for sure. The location is awesome, you can walk everywhere in the town. All the staff were super kind, helpful, and great.

As advertised and a great value. I stayed with a friend in a double. The staff accommodated our request to guarantee 2 beds in advance of our arrival and upgraded up from a standard when we arrived.

Great location, clean room, amenity too basic for the money paid.

The Universal Boutique Hotel where I stayed is located in a quiet area, very nicely decorated and worth staying for a few days.

An absolutely wonderful stay in Viana do Castelo. The hotel is located on a charming old-town street, within walking distance of both the bus and train stations.

We had an amazing stay at Palácio São Silvestre – everything was absolutely perfect. The building itself is stunning, full of history and charm, but at the same time very comfortable and modern.

Location of this hotel is perfect, a 2 minute walk from Sao Bento train station.

Very nicely located in the old town. Modern but renovated to match the old structure of the house. Self check-in but uncomplicated communication with the manager.

This was an adorable place. The owner/manager was so kind in the morning, showing us the beautiful terrace. It was clean, as well as renovated. I would have gladly stayed longer if I could have.

Great room, excellent service by the lovely Marta who was very responsive. It’s spacious, clean, you can use the fully utilised kitchen and the balcony is very comfortable.
