My wife and I wanted an authentic quinta for our overnight stay in the Douro Valley during our first trip to Portugal. Cesar, Jose, and Jorge were incredibly gracious and accommodating.

I went for a trip to the valley and chose this Quinta. One of the best choices and the highlight of my trip. Cesar, the owner, told us his story and the property history.

Casa da Azenha was an absolute oasis of beauty, tranquility, and hospitality. A graceful property whose remodeled rooms have all the modern conveniences.

We had a really wonderful stay at Casa da Azenha — a little paradise in the Douro Valley. The property is stunning, with a big garden surrounded by vineyards.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a group tour. The room and location were nice, dinner delicious, breakfast tasty (especially madeleine cookies).

I had a wonderful stay at Vila Galé Douro in the Douro Valley.
The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Régua center and train station.

During our Douro Valley visit, we had an exceptional experience at Casa Relógio de Sol. The serene location offers stunning vineyard views, making it ideal for couples.

This was a truly amazing experience for my husband and I as we traveled through Portugal. The grounds are a photographer's dream and the service impeccable.

We stayed two nights here on a road trip through northern Portugal. The staff were friendly and responsive throughout our stay, though no one seemed to be on-site outside the main part of the day.

This is such an amazing place. You are walking into a surprise. Beautifully finished hotel with a roof top access. And you have a breakfast on the roof.

We made a 7-days walk along the Douro and had one night in this beautiful and really charming house. Ricardo made a wonderful dinner for the evening.

This is a really nice hotel in Lamego, one of the towns in the Douro Valley. The town itself is really nice, it has a lot of restaurants and shops along a center square.

Great location but a strange hotel. Simple things like getting an iron was an absolute mission. It feels like maybe once a great hotel, but is slowly needing a bit more uptake and care.

Rita at the front desk was the nicest, most helpful person we met in Portugal!
Spa was nice with excellent massages and facials.

We came for a long weekend (3 nights) for a birthday as a couple. The stay was perfect.

Finding Casa da Real Companhia is very challenging, as Google is confused as to the location.

Quinta do Valdalagea was a fantastic stay in an authentic Portuguese Quinta. Exactly the quiet, relaxing experience my wife and I wanted.

Stayed two nights here and we had the place to ourselves. It felt like we rented the entire place instead of just the room. Breakfast was amazing with friendly personalized service.

A classic hotel operated by a very nice elderly man.
The room was big and very clean, breakfast was nice and the staff maid it’s best to meet our needs.

We had the very best wine tasting experience here by the owner, Elisabete, herself! She prepares everything herself and includes many personal touches, including her own dips and jams.

A beautiful, peaceful campsite with a magnificent view over the city. We were welcomed by the friendly owners and given a thorough explanation of the campsite and the surrounding area.

Intimate boutique winery with excellent and quirky wines. Tiago welcomed us with warmth and great energy. Would highly recommend visiting for a tasting.

Wonderful vineyard with beautiful wines and knowledgeable hosts. We came here on E-bikes from Six Senses and were kindly welcomed without a reservation. Highly recommended.
