Lamego Hotels

Lovely hotel, all rooms have amazing views of the Douro River and the valley. The hotel staff is great, friendly and helpful.

Great view of the Douro river. The hotel is well located a close to multiple wineries.

My wife and I wanted an authentic quinta for our overnight stay in the Douro Valley during our first trip to Portugal. Cesar, Jose, and Jorge were incredibly gracious and accommodating.

I went for a trip to the valley and chose this Quinta. One of the best choices and the highlight of my trip. Cesar, the owner, told us his story and the property history.

This is a really nice hotel in Lamego, one of the towns in the Douro Valley. The town itself is really nice, it has a lot of restaurants and shops along a center square.

Great location but a strange hotel. Simple things like getting an iron was an absolute mission. It feels like maybe once a great hotel, but is slowly needing a bit more uptake and care.

Lovely small campsite. Clara and Nuno (and the young girl who helps) are brilliant hosts going out of their way to make you feel welcome. Excellent clean facilities on site.

Brilliant site. Feels like you’re staying outside a stately home. Fabulous location where you can walk to the town. Well placed for Douro valley tours.

Mr. Antonio is very welcoming and accomodating. Great knowhow on the city's history.
It was a great experience and wl be back again. Worth it to recommend this place.

Finding Casa da Real Companhia is very challenging, as Google is confused as to the location.

This is such an amazing place. You are walking into a surprise. Beautifully finished hotel with a roof top access. And you have a breakfast on the roof.

We made a 7-days walk along the Douro and had one night in this beautiful and really charming house. Ricardo made a wonderful dinner for the evening.

Our stay at Golden Mirror in the Douro Valley was genuinely one of the most magical experiences we’ve ever had.

A beautiful hotel with very kind staff. They made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel for a stay in the Douro Valley.

🍷🧀🦚🌄🤵 The barman at Quinta de Pacheca was incredibly accommodating.

Came here for a wedding.
Lovely venue.
Staff were very friendly and chill.
Loved the 2 resident dogs and cats.
Rooms:
We stayed in the regular rooms (ie not barrels).

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as part of a group tour. The room and location were nice, dinner delicious, breakfast tasty (especially madeleine cookies).

I had a wonderful stay at Vila Galé Douro in the Douro Valley.
The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Régua center and train station.

A very special place. The rooms are big, clean and so comfortable, the spa is beautiful and the food is great — especially the amazing breakfast. But the hotel’s greatest asset is its staff.

We found Lamego Hotel & Life early in our wedding planning process and the rest of the weekend built itself around it. From the moment we saw the property, we knew it was the one, and it did not

Everywhere you look on this 400 year old property is breathtaking. From the gardens, pool, rooms.
The bed was very comfortable!

We stayed for 3 nights and everything was great. The room was super well cleaned and organized. All of the amenities worked and we’re enough for us to prepare food for our little kid.

Super Welcoming and Extremely Familiar! Unforgettable Breakfasts!
Thank you so Much.!

It's an amazing place. Castle like rooms, large and a fabulous shower room.
The view is just magnificent and breakfast was superb. A big like!

This is a magic location for anyone who enjoys a private, peaceful location in a pristine rural valley surrounded by trees, grapevines and beautiful stone buildings and terrace walls highlighted by

Lovely stay and great hosting by Francisca & Henrique (and the 2 dogs!

We loved this hotel! It grows on you. Has everything you need. And the sweetest people running it. They went out of their way to help us. What a gem of a place in the beautiful Duoro valley.

A classic hotel operated by a very nice elderly man.
The room was big and very clean, breakfast was nice and the staff maid it’s best to meet our needs.

Intimate boutique winery with excellent and quirky wines. Tiago welcomed us with warmth and great energy. Would highly recommend visiting for a tasting.

Wonderful vineyard with beautiful wines and knowledgeable hosts. We came here on E-bikes from Six Senses and were kindly welcomed without a reservation. Highly recommended.

Wine hotel with picturesque views. We stayed here for two nights and loved the food at the restaurant.

We have been here for 2N and can recommend this Wine Hotel by 100%. The service is very warm and friendly, the room and view guarantees memorial relaxation.

Pretty little Guest house.
I would recommend the wine tasting!

During our Douro Valley visit, we had an exceptional experience at Casa Relógio de Sol. The serene location offers stunning vineyard views, making it ideal for couples.

Beautiful property, loaded with activities, spacious public areas, TERRIFIC staff of young professionals, dedicated management.

The most amazing place to visit. Calm and peaceful, with the most amazing view. To top it off, the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Very well designed apartment, everything very tidy and clean, modern, ideal for a weekend for two, next to the Castle and with several tapas restaurants nearby! 👌🏻👌🏻

The apartment is literally located in the castle, it is a very quiet place. The beds are comfortable, it is clean and completely renovated.

★★★★★ Ambience, Hospitality & Gastronomy.
I highly recommend this beautiful villa for anyone seeking a peaceful stay paired with exceptional dining.

Unexpected authentic Portuguese hospitality at its best, I’m surprised at some of the negative reviews here. We booked on booking.

Everything went as we expected. Just perfect.

We went to a wine tasting, including Port Wine. I really liked the explanation given.

Casa Dos Varais is a small family run hotel in the manor house of a Douro wine estate. The owners Joao and Ernestina live on site and are very welcoming and helpful.

Casa dos Varais is a family home dating from the 18 hundreds, which is open for guests. It is a special place which keeps traditions and beauty alive for its guests.
