Hotels in Norte Region with a Pool

The beds and mattresses are not the most outstanding in comfort. The wood beds make noise and the mattresses feel like old springs.
The wc was a bit dark/light lacking.

The hotel is in the center of Guimarães. The room was clean and spacious. We booked a room with access to SPA. It was good. The water is warm, the swimming pool and sauna are clean.

This is a lovely hotel, well placed just off the main road by the river. The rooms are well equipped, staff are prompt, helpful and friendly. The breakfast is excellent with lots of choice.

Easy access quality hotel with parking in central Coimbra.
This hotel is easy to access if you are driving to Coimbra. The car park is below the hotel down a ramp.

We had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this hotel. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcomed and looked after.

The Saboaria was a retreat and highlight of our trip to Porto. We originally booked a different hotel but it had a dreary energy.

I absolutely loved staying at Solar Antigo! It was one of the most unique places I have ever stayed at. The hotel is lovely. The pictures do not do it justice.

Solar Antigo was great. The rooms were luxuriously decorated with real style, they were clean and had everything you needed.

Our experience at the Forte de Gaia was phenomenal! The location was perfect, slightly up the hill to offer a more quiet environment, but just steps away from everything you need in Gaia/Porto.

Absolutely impeccable accommodations! This hotel is one of the finest! Claudia greeted us at check-in with a glass of perfectly chilled Port and wished us a Happy 30th anniversary.

We had a wonderful stay at Pousada Porto – Rua das Flores with our party of 10, including our infant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The ladies at reception were delightful, my guestroom was comfortable and spotless, and the breakfast was a generous selection of delicious food.

What a wonderful 5 night stay at Canto de Luz! We stayed in a City Room on the first floor which was beautifully appointed — the little black make-up towel in the bathroom is a very clever addition!

We stayed here with two small chidren on the top floor overlooking the garden space. Hotel was very clean, luxurious, boutique feel in middle of the city (great location! ) but was quiet and peaceful.

This is my favorite boutique hotel I have ever stayed at in Europe! The rooms are all so well appointed, and the building is so historic and charming with incredible amenities.

Can’t recommend this place enough. What a gorgeous stay from start to finish.

We had a fabulous stay here, I only wished we stayed longer. They were very hospitable and accommodating when we arrived.

We had the most amazing stay at Ventozelo as part of our honeymoon, it was truly magical! It’s a wonderful place where you can truly appreciate the landscape and environment.

Really nice hotel a little bit outside the city (but convenient for metro). Staff were super-friendly and the place was very clean.
Guest rooms a good size, well maintained and very clean.

Although, not the largest hotel in Porto, we highly recommend (Hotel Jaguar) as the best value and Service in or near the Metropolitan Center of Porto.

Elegant Gem in the Heart of Coimbra – Tivoli Coimbra.

Really big rooms. Decide is a little tired and could use some updating — carpets in the room need to be replaced asap. Very helpful staff.

My wife and I just concluded a wonderful 5day stay at the amazing Lince Santa Clara hotel.
Set within a converted monastery, the Lince provides a unique 5 star experience.

We spent a weekend at this hotel and had a wonderful time.
The room was spacious, with high ceilings with all the comfort of a modern hotel room.

This was my first time in Viseu and I thoroughly enjoyed the town. It is very walkable and there is beautiful architecture to see. There were many cafes and a nice mix of people, very relaxed vibe.

We loved our stay a lot. Hotel in itself is amazing.

Great experience. Great location. Great design. Great service. Great breakfast. Will stay there again if in Porto.

This place is really COOL 😎 just like everything in the city of Porto. Lovely, modern, artistic, amazing photo books and attention to detail boutique hotel.

Recently stayed here for 3 nights — would definitely return.
Staff were so attentive and helpful, hotel facilities & rooms were very clean and modern.

I stayed at this hotel for six nights with my 11-year-old daughter at the beginning of July.

I had a wonderful stay at Bessa Hotel Baixa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

Very good location — 15/20min walk to Ribeira/river and only 5 min from Bilbao metro station which for going back to the airport was so easy (especially during road rush hour) and much cheaper at

This is the most stunning place I’ve stayed at in a very long time. Everyone is so accommodating. Love love love it here! I just asked my husband if we could stay an extra night even.

Beautiful hotel and even more beautiful staff and service!

Wonderful luxury stay with our children and family! Greeted upon arrival with lemon ice cold towels to refresh ourselves and sparkling water/wine. Bags carried to our room.

From the moment we arrived, we knew Torel Quinta da Vacaria was something special. After 26 hours of traveling by ferry and car, we couldn't have appreciated their warm welcome more.

The Rebello is, by far, my favorite hotel in the Vila Nova De Gaia area! If you are fan of wine and port you got to stay here. One you are so close to the port houses and World of Wine (WOW).

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved every minute of it. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived, with every member of the team going above and beyond to make us feel

We recently enjoyed a fantastic three-night stay at the Rural Hotel de Misarela and highly recommend it for anyone looking to explore the beautiful Peneda-Gerês region.

Isolated, architectural rural gem in the Portuguese mountains. Spacious, spotless rooms. Common rooms downstairs with games and relaxing areas. A short hike to Misarella bridge, which is unmissable.

Well located for walks to the river. Easy uber ride from airport. Room were well equipped and comfortable. The staff were 5 star.

This is a truly beautiful hotel on the best street in Porto (in my opinion). It is lively but peaceful, and the entire staff is genuine, kind, and extremely competent.

Great hotel in the middle of all the actions in Porto. The staff is fantastic; the room was very clean and quiet. Breakfast was fresh with a great variety of food items.

We couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. The design is beautiful, the rooms are tastefully decorated, and the bathroom—with its spacious shower—felt especially well done.

We had a lovely week long stay. We had a room with a balcony which we used a lot.
The room is very attractive, the bed very comfortable and the air con quiet.

Great hotel. Great location.
Clean modern rooms. Great breakfast. Nice Rooftop bar. Pool sauna/ steam and decent gym. Best of all courteous staff throughout, especially concierge and breakfast.

Absolutely incredible hotel. We had just gotten engaged and the hotel greeted us with champagne and chocolates in the room, as well as upgraded our room.

Wonderful luxury hotel in Porto. Great central location.
We had a really enjoyable and comfortable 3 night stay with warm hospitality.
