Cheap hotels in Norte Region

Clean room. White, stain-free linens of good quality. Very comfortable firm mattress. Not soft, but hard. Just what I need for my back. This is the first time I've seen one in a hotel.

Really nothing fancy, but everything you need for a couple of nights when passing through.
Location is superb, parking pretty much abundant and the best thing is the restaurant right below you.

The cheapest but well-rated option I could find as a solo traveller that wasn't too far from the city center.

Great hostel with nice view facing the river, clean rooms, great art deco building and best showers I've ever seen in a hostel. Only downside, lacking a kitchen: no cutlery, no sink, no stove.

After a horrible encounter with an angry albergue owner, I came here. Rooms are spacious and have fun themes, and mine has a private bathroom.

Awesome little place. Great location for pilgrims. Across the street there is a restaurant with pilgrim menu.
Around the corner is a small local grocery store.

Clean room, crispy linen and comfortable bed.
Quiet.
Polite staff.
Good facilities.
Fabulous location near great restaurants and beach.

Good place for weary pilgrims. Smallish bunk rooms with pillows, great smelling linens and towels, all included. Each bunk had a light amd privacy curtain. Great communal rooms.

Stayed here on my first night of the Camino. Wonderful staff, clean rooms, very nice. When I was there — there was not a lot of places to eat, but it was off season. Good first night stop.

We arrived here doing the Camino. We were met by a very helpful gentleman who helped us find somewhere to eat and was a perfect host.

Thank you to the sweet ladies, the communication and service was really good :)! We booked a double room with private bathroom and had a balcony with a view as well.

Stayed here in February 2026. This place was a treat.

The room was pretty small, but it was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi worked great, the showers worked well. The service was friendly. There was a common kitchen that you can use.

Very comfortable place to stay. Its actually a home, with the upstairs given over to guests. I think all rooms are shared bathroom.

Fantastic place which feels like a retreat and resort. The bus stop is around a 6 minute walk on weekdays. No buses on Sunday so its a good 40 minutes trek to the large supermarket.

Nice room in the middle of Ovar. The shower looked funny but was nice. There were lots of towels and blankets provided and the same soap three times in the bathroom but no other amenities.

Cute place, quiet rooms, artsy interiors done with lots of love. Miguel is a nice guy!

Where to start… It was a perfect choice for a night spent here. Very clean, large and airy room. The place is run by a really nice young family, extremely polite and smiling.

We stayed here as part of the Portuguese Camino. We were driven to the family restaurant and enjoyed a meal there.
The house/rooms were cold even with the heater.

Perfect location. Friendly staff. Sheets and towels are very clean but worn, could do with new ones, but comfortable. Place was very clean.
Good for a short stay.

Such lovely days in the city center. I went to Viseu to try a new job and this hostel was the perfect election to stay.

One of best places to stay in Viseu.
Awesome location, great rooms and the cleaning is top notch.

It was a very pleasant stay. Spacious room, fully equipped kitchen and a 5 minutes walk to Braga's center.

Great location, clean and organized rooms, with elevator. Close to Braga train station.

Comfortable, in good location, Well equipped in the rooms with Lounge area, And conducted with kindness by Edoarda 🤗 I highly recommend it.

Family run and cozy. Great to be able to cook breakfast, or they'll make it for you. Great location, very close to the river. Bathroom could use work. Staff was great.

Clean, modern accommodation just up the hill from the river.
It's on the Gaia side, but you can easily catch a river taxi over to the Porto side, or metro or an Uber.

Thanks to Eduardo for a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Room and facilities were clean. A bonus was having an area with a kettle and microwave for eating your own food.

Mr. Eduardo was spectacular. Super welcoming, very friendly! Great quality-price ratio.

We have just been for a meal here and it was fantastic, also very good service.

Wow! Never expected such a nice restaurant from the outside. Perfect service, great food! Will definitely be back!

Great location, cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. Staff was nice and helpful.

Canva hostel is a good place to stay, close to Aman Catarina street.
