Hostels in Norte RegionHostel

That special kind of magic of this hostel are the owners — Sara and Pedro. I spent four nights there and they have been absolutely beautiful.

Could not recommend highly enough! Pedro and Sarah were such great hosts and had unlimited knowledge of the local area including recommendations for hikes, restaurants and wineries.

This was hands down my best experience in a hostel ever. I stayed for one week and I meet the most lovely people.

One of the best hostel I’ve stayed in, really appreciated the family dinners and the daily activities.

The quietest hostel on our route 🥾
5 ⭐️ The cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms is 💯
The proactive guy at the reception recommended us where to eat and since it's Easter, there are few places open.

Easy check in! TITA is a super helpful human❤️. They kindly upgraded my room to a river view too. Close to laundry service and plenty of food options.

Such a great hostel! The owner was very friendly, she checked me in, even though I arrived way too early. I really loved the bed and the bathrooms are very modern and everything is very clean.

I hobbled into Fao yesterday and thankfully, we were offered a caravan in the grounds. Perfect!

Nice, clean hostel. Bunk beds were super nice with curtains, hooks, small shelf and a lamp. Bedding and towel included. Shower and bathroom was clean.

We had a great experience here. Three of us stayed on our first night of the Camino Português and this provided all we needed.

Excellent location, venue and amenities.
The only issue is that there is a hidden tourist fee even for a one night stay that must be paid in cash.

The location is perfect! Depending how to return in the evening just be aware of your surroundings, nothing that felt dangerous or threatening.

One of the nicest albergues I stayed during my Camino. Such a beautiful view, very nice and homey atmosphere, good food and a very friendly owner. Thanks a lot!

Lawrence and Casa Gwendoline is the definition of hospitality and a true gift on the Camino. His home is the perfect resting stop before making your way to Valenca or Tui.

This is such a hidden gem! The most magical place I’ve ever been to. Stayed there for a night on my Camino and I can tell you it’s definitely worth going up the hill even on the end of a long day.

We had a great, restful evening at this albergue! Food offerings were very much appreciated, including homemade meals that we could eat on our schedule.

Incredible meat. One of the best meals I've ever had and now my new favourite restaurant. The value for money here is incredible, the food is phenomenal and the service is great.

The place was fantastic! Extremely clean, modern and the best breakfast we had in Portugal! Many gluten free options.

Really loved out stay here after our first day walking the Camino. The property was extremely relaxing. An interesting building. Great value for money and a good breakfast in the morning.

Great hostel — very clean and rooms were spacious. Lovely breakfast, and sink to wash clothes outside. Slightly off the Camino route, but still a great location.

I called this place at 2am because the other place I was staying in had a guest that was keeping me up. In the middle of the night this guy answered the phone, came downstairs and took me in, and

The best hostel I've ever stayed at!
Super complete, clean kitchen, spacious common area, good Wi-Fi and you can even leave your bike safely underneath.

Such a nice little hostel in the middle of the city center. About 14-20 walk time to most of the attractions. Amazing staff, very kind and helpful. I slept very well too, Im glad is not a party hoste.

This is a fantastic hostel. A well organised place with helpful staff and was clean.

A wonderful stay in a fantastic hostel! Thanks for the warm welcome and great hospitality.

Great place to rest & relax, really enjoyed my stay! & of course the house cat is a plus :D.

This place is amazing! So cozy, warm and comfortable. Welcome from reception lady was so supportive and nice. 👌👍 great place to stay, recommend!

We received a perfect welcome from the wonderful lady at the reception. This hostel was truly exceptional. We felt very comfortable — not only in the rooms but also in the common areas.

We stayed in a double room with a bathroom and it was great. It was very clean (also the common kitchen). It's an old mansion, but very well renovated.

What a pearl in the city of Vila Real! Great accommodations, the rooms are very nice, and the shared areas are also very nice! The kitchen has what you need (except for a smoothie machine).

I stayed at the hostel Change the World in the city center, and I must say it is the nicest hostel I have stayed at so far in Portugal.

Great hostel!
Simple/sober but monder and fresh,
All you need. Beautiful building and on top location.

Wow~ I didn’t expected any because it was hard to booking. But, owner was nice and friendly also their family was so~ sweet.

So far so good, just arrived, towels fresh bed very comfy, reception really, really lovely. The Camino stamp is done with wax, very good. Can't wait for breakfast.

A wonderful hotel. Great location—close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always smiling.

I was in town to help some local friends and this hotel was a perfect base for a solo traveler!

Hostel in the center of Caminha🔝
Very close to the taxi boat. ⛴️
We opted for a triple room with private bathroom for 95 euro.

Super comfy, tidy and cute hostel to spend a night on your Camino.

Good location for pilgrims. I'm traveling to Santiago and I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to stay in a clean place close to everything with several restaurants and mini markets.

It is well located, just a short walk from beach, the metro, and several restaurants and cafés.

Good location, basic, good price.
Very noisy. Can hear everything in other rooms and downstairs.

Nice space equipped with functional bed and lockers. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Rooms have private bathrooms, so you have to share but only with a limited number of people.

CREATIVITY, FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
There are places that are merely a bed for the night, and others that are a safe harbor for the soul.

I've been in a lot of hostel's through Europa but this one has a special place in my hearth.

Try the orange cake at breakfast. Its the Best youll ever eat.

Great balance price/ cost. The owners were very warm, and we felt very welcome. Congratulations.

Great hostal in a very picturesque setting. Very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and nice bedding. Nice clean bathroom although the water wasn't very hot in the shower.
