The buffet breakfast has lots of options. Most important, it is right at the city center so lots to see, do, and eat nearby. They also have open Wi-Fi with no password so need to get a password from reception.

Right in the middle of Bergen. The rooms are nicely equipped, although, is not much of a view. The included breakfast offers a more than average selection and the location makes definitely up for the lack of view as Bergen's beauty can be easily experienced after a 2-min walk.

Great service and cleaning. The breakfast was very appealing with lots to choose from and tasty. Definitely would stay here again.

Very nice Hotel, all perfect, clean rooms. The hotel is very central right in the pedestrian area, beautiful view! Within walking distance of the harbor with shops and restaurants. Friendly staff and very friendly. Price corrected, super recommended!

Located in the middle of all tourist attractions. The rest of the arguments is by 7 and 9 year olders: 1. Big screen smart TV in the room that has a few games. 2. Bath instead of shower. 3. Heated bathroom floor that is actually hot. 4. Super duper breakfast menu.

Reception staff not very friendly and room did not live up to a 4 hotel. Breakfast was good though, but not enough to make up for the room.

Great expirience lovely place to stay reasonable price. We went there with a couple of friend. Higly recommends. Good service and atmosphere, I'll definitely go back and book them again. 5 star hostel thanks.

Nice Thon hotel in downtown Bergen. McDonald's is their neighbour. Very good service. The rooms are pretty simple and cosy and comfortable with en suite bathrooms. There is a complimentary breakfast for all the guests and free Wi-Fi. It is a very nice area with many nearby restaurants and stuff.

Nice easy check in, polite staff, what else would you expect in Norway, good comfy room, breakfast, British hotels note this, and left luggage facilities so I could spend the day exploring Bergen. Two minutes walk from tram terminal and only ten from Hurtigruten Terminal.

Stayed there during the 2017 Road Cycling World Championships as it was one of the official media hotels. It was in a convenient location to get to the media centre. Also convenient for places to eat. Staff were polite and helpful and obliging with requests. I loved the breakfast! Only downside: the rooms facing the street can be noisy because of the clubs in the area.

We are in 2017 and they have a Wi-Fi far worse than the available 4G network offered by local telecom. Not being able to offer simple streaming is not good enough. Other than that, breakfast was good. Bed soft and the hotel in general seems clean.

Although slightly noisy, the location of this hotel could not be any closer to the city shopping centre. It is meters away from The galleria shopping mall, our room overlooked the shops. The rooms are comfortable and clean, however, I did find their restaurant a little expensive.

Ok rooms. Good location. Good breakfast with vegetarian options. No particular amenities. Outlets don't let you charge devices if you don't leave your key (or jerry-rig the switch). Wi-Fi is painfully slow. No international converters, USB outlets or HDMI inputs provided.

Great location, close to everything, very friendly staff, rooms are a decent size, clean and comfy — added bonus is a kettle and coffee/tea supplied. Breakfast was amazing, so much variety and staff were awesome. No faults with this hotel.

Room was big and cozy. "Soundproof". The breakfast was really good, and the staff was really nice. A lovely hotel to a decent price.

The hotel seems newly "pimped" and things were clean and nice. Breakfast was great in the adjacent "Egon" family restaurant. My only complaint was waking up at 2am from the sound of chairs being moved in the Egon restaurant around under my room. Annoying.

I thougt that Bristol was one of these old nice hotels. No way! This is a modern hotel where you receive nothing extra (well except the coffee) and they charge you the full amount. One night at this cheap place costs from 1545.00 NOK US$264. It is simply not worth it. I felt cheated! You are much better off staying at a hostel, dont get tricked into staying here. Other alternatives are: SAS hotel Bergen, Clarion Hotel Admiral, Scandic, First hotel, Clarion. They are all better than the Thon hotels.

This hotel was really bad compared to the price they charged. For $200 I got a clean room, but it felt really cheap. As I turned on the television I was urged to pay NOK199 to received everything. It would cheat and put it on the bill hidden as something else. I managed to get out of the menu and choose ordinary television. I really recommend everyone to select a family hotel when in Bergen or another chain. Furthermore they say in the marketing that they have wireless LAN in the hotel for their guests. This is a lie. You have to be a gold member to receive this. If you are not a gold member you have to pay extra. Thon hotels is famous for over charging and low value. The breakfast was good, but I feel cheated.
