This is one of the most wonderful hotels: Charming old-world ambiance, including modern conveniences (sauna & exercise room) and many lovely decor appointments.

This Hotel was awesome. The Fløibanen was a 5 minute walk and Starbucks was a 3 minute walk. Shopping was about 7 minutes. The hotel’s breakfast buffet was great too with lots of choices and hot food.

Charmante Hotel was one of the highlights of my stay in Bergen. The location is fantastic—everything is within walking distance, yet the area feels peaceful and full of character.

I rarely write hotel reviews, but our experience here has been so outstanding that I felt compelled to post this on day two of our three-day stay.

Spent one night here in February prior to joining a Hurtigruten cruise and couldn’t be happier with our choice. Beautiful property in a perfect location. Great accommodations and wonderful breakfast.

A nice hotel in the perfect location for exploring Bergen. We stayed for 3 nights in a Junior Suite, which was lovely. The room was a good size with all the amenities you would expect.

Great location and from our room we had a great view, I have stayed her before a couple of times and because the location is so easy I would stay again.

We were provided with a room that was much smaller than we had expected. We stayed there the first night, but felt it was too small for us for our remaining two nights.

The room was very big, moder and nice. The bunkbeds (for the kids) were very squeaky and noisy during the night, but comfortable.
The location is very close to the city center.

Stayed at this hotel over the weekend for my first Bergen trip. The hotel is in a great location and breakfast was diverse and continuously replenished.

Small sleeping rooms and small bathrooms. Comfortable bed. Active hotel, plenty of other guest and always had one helpful staff member. They have umbrellas to rent for rainy Bergen.

Great location and friendly staff. The room was good, it was warm but window could open so that was fine. I think the hotel was hosting a party so there was alot of noise even with earplugs.

After three flights and a bus ride, I was ready to rest, and Thon Rosenkrantz was the place for me. The staff are everywhere, helping guests as needed.

Centrally located hotel. Right on the main square which can be problematic as noise at night from individuals partying. Room was tiny but adequate. Toilet way too small.

We had a super stay at Hotel No 13. It was a short walk from the ferry, and close to all the things we wanted— attractions, restaurants, shops.

From a warm greeting at check in to when we left this hotel offered a very personal approach. No question was too much and there was a genuine relaxed feel to the hotel. Comfy beds and good pillows.

This is an excellent hotel in a very central location near the old harbour and bryggen. The hotel staff are very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a great harbour view and was clean and spacious.

The hotel is well located in the center of Bergen, right near the harbor. Good room, but poor soundproofing can be disturbing. Excellent breakfast, service and staff.

Excellent housekeeping, desk and kitchen staff. Single room is smaller than a jail cell and sparse in content. I switched to a larger and excellent room. Breakfast very good.

It’s a cosy petit hotel like an B&B.
You need to climb up the hill, there’s no elevator so you might have to carry your suit case up all the way to the forth floor.

The location is great as you are right beside Bryggen and within an easy walk to many attractions and restaurants. The service at the hotel is wonderful.

Clarion Hotel Bergen Havnekonterot is a clean hotel with a cozy lobby (good when it is pouring outside and also has a great pianist in the afternoon).

What a lovely find in the heart of Bergen. Stayed 4 nights, 10 minute walk from bybannen, 3 minutes from Floyen.

The biggest highlight of this place is the location. We found the hotel to be extremely well situated, right near the harbor and within easy walking distance of the main attractions.

The location is excellent, and if you have a superior room you probably have a view over to Bryggen, which is magical.

After a terrible experience at another hotel within Bergen, in which we left early. This hotel saved our holiday, we loved our stay here! Breakfast was great which lots of choice and great service.
