Ok place to stay and a reasonable price.

Very friendly, clean well kept rooms. Shower was great even if the plumbing was a little on the noisy side. Could really do with air conditioning or just a simple fan in the rooms for summer.

Totally unacceptable room, freezing cold! Wall heater kept turning off, ended up going to Countdown and purchasing our own fan heater to warm the room. Had to ask for milk, had to buy a coffee mug and sugar at Countdown also as there was only one mug and only enough sugar sachets for 2 cups of tea/coffee. Tea towel in the kitchen was worse for wear, stunk and needed a good soaking or better yet throwing out! No tissues in the bathroom, only toilet paper to blow your nose! Very out dated decor, the sofa had seen better days and looks like it should be at the tip. Could see right into the backyard of the 'owners' yard, what a mess. Not a great advertisment. Reception — stunk, fish tank was filthy. The whole complex needs a complete clean and overhaul with paint, furniture, fittings, linen etc. Would not recommend this place. : (

The internet is slow and mostly doesn't work. The rooms are cold and won't heat up. They give you a sky watch mag without sky. Fail all around.

Average room, a bit cold, we didn't get milk for hot drinks and beds were uncomfortable but everything was clean and ready for us.

Convenient for a stop over.

It was a decent priced place, had everything I needed. Close to restaurants and shops.

Stayed here for the first day we arrived Christchurch. Very helpful owner. We arrived 2am in the morning. She keep sending email and message so that I can get into my room. With the family of 5 and small children, the room is just great for us. We can cook, relax and enjoy the warm bed. Before we left Christchurch, we stayed another night here.

Stayed for 3 nights and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms as well as the cooking facilities are clean and tidy. Supermarket and restaurants are within walking distance. Also only 10 minutes from airport. Will stay again if return to NZ.
