Super place to stay in Christchurch, right in the heart of things close to Cathedral Square. Lovely helpful staff. Our room was large, super clean and nicely appointed, spacious shower room. There are lots of cafes and bars close by and the trams run into a spot right next to the hotel …

What a great location! So close to everything in the CBD and how amazing it is to have a Tram running thru the centre of the hotel.
The hotel reception staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. A thumbs up for us.

Excellent location, lovely decor with a pop of colour, and the bed was extremely comfortable (felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! ). 100% recommend.

Most strategic location for first timer to Christchurch or to those who hadn't visited after the quake. A good place to start your walkabout around Christchurch. it is a great place to stay in all weather condition s with all thoughtful conveniences available inside the room. A stone throw away to food, tour packages and transports. very helpful and kind reception and very mindful house keeping.

Management and the staff are hopeless. Csnt even keep their word.

We had a great stay at Hotel 115. Lovely staff, welcoming reception with drinks and coffee and umbrellas to borrow if need be. Its close to everything, comfy beds, very clean and love the décor! Great prices too.

We were unsure whether to stay here or one of the larger chain hotels in the CBD but we're so glad we chose Hotel 115. Lovely room, fantastic friendly staff and a great breakfast (we were given a voucher for the Caffeine Laboratory Cafe nearby — so much better than your usual hotel breakfast). If you're looking for a place to stay that's got everything you'd expect from your standard CBD hotel — plus a bit more — then this is it.

My room was perfect for my 3 night stay Very clean and had everything I needed Great view and fantastic location Will stay here again.

We stayed in a premier deluxe king room. The room was large and had all the amenities we needed. I really liked how they had shampoo and conditioner. The service was friendly and helpful. The only thing I could critique them on is their free non alcoholic mini bar. For two people there was 1 water, 1 coke and 1 juice. Would have been nice to have had two of everything. With that being said we enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others.

All in all, great and very comfy/stylish boutique hotel! I stayed here one week and really enjoyed it. The staff is absolutly helpful and always smiling! The location is just perfect and the old city trams, which are literally driving 'through' the lobby, is simply unique! This hotel has it's charme and the café's and restaurants close by are some of the best in town (Caffeine Laboratory & twentysevensteps — to name my favorites! ) I will be back, that's for sure!

Good restaurants nearby. Room very small. Hard bed. Cleaners opened the windows and turned heater off which made it very cold.

Great location. Room was OK. Housekeeping was not the greatest. Did not replenish bottled water and had to pay from minbar. Did not clean the room properly too.

Nice small hotel in the middle of a historical train station. City center of Christchurch. All shoppings close by.

Really great atmosphere for a great price with included parking next door and a prime location! Small rooms but that didn't particularly bother us, a very popular kids playground is a short walk away and there is unlimited Wi-Fi with good connection!

Expensive hotel without any character or atmosphere. Room facilities are okay but without a balcony or even a window with a view it is not a pleasant room to stay in. We had one small window overlooking the staircase of the hotel. With the room all painted in dark colours it was a depressing experience. The hotel offers Nespresso coffee at the reception and state that until 10 pm someone is present. At 8:30 pm we came back from dinner and reception was closed and Nespresso locked away. This hotel might be okay for a business trip but other than that this is not a pleasant hotel to stay at. The only positive about the hotel is the close proximity to the city center.

Friendly staff, great central location, nice facilities. The room was pretty stifling as it didn't have any air conditioning or ventilation — just a couple of fans. But it was great for a couple of nights over New Year.

Stayed here for two weeks for work. Very central. Plenty of cafe nearby for breakfast and dinner. If you into bike riding, there is bike shared station nearby. The massage is super awesome. I also enjoyed fresh fruit available in reception area.

Location is rather central and cheap. Room is quite comfortable but toilet is small. Good choice for a short stay.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The Wi-Fi was very fast. There is complimentary coffee and water in the lobby.

Grossly overpriced, tiny room with no where to sit and relax, no sky TV and no air con outside of this the room was clean and a central location.

Where do I start… The rooms are ULTRA tiny, no way could you stay with 2 people in there. The room I had, has a connecting door to an other room and could hear everything the next door people were saying and watching on TV. My TV was positioned in such a way you have to be sitting on one specific side of the bed to even watch it as it's next to a wall unit that sticks out so far that it blocks the tv. Oh yeah you cant move the TV either… There is no table or anything to use to write on or eat which is really annoying, literally had to use the ironing board as a table. The only advantage you have with this place is its location, but would never pay that much for a room that tiny. Seriously dont bother wasting your cash there is a hotel on the other side which costs the same amount and the rooms are triple the size. Thank god it was for only 1 night!

Sadly this hotel let me down. I had an I pad chrger broken by cleaning staff by it being ripped from the charger. It was a brand new one and room mate confirmed it was new and working. They claim no resposibility for the damage. In fact seemed to be saying it was not there fault. Not staying here again.

Smart functional central gr8 shower gr8 for base if travelling simple foyer attended during day.

Quiet, tidy and well located for central city. While it has no restaurant and bar it is surrounded by them and located in the old tram workshop atrium adjacent to new reagent st.

Such a great value/price in terms of the cleanliness, beauty, and warm welcome. If I'm ever back in Chirstchurch, definitely coming back here. Beautiful, just beautiful rooms!

Disappointed that the hotel does not have a kitchen or cafe. This morning I Got my yellow voucher and ventured out in the cold only to be told at the partner restaurant that it was closed this was at 7:40 am. Design of hotel is wonderful and the concept is a mixture of funky and European classical. The breakfast was a shambles for me today.

Stayed at Hotel 115 for 1 night after 1 month of backpacking decided a little luxury was required and it delivered. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and modern with everything you would expect. It was nice to have good New Zealand coffee in the cafetiere and sit by the large window. The decor around the hotel fits in with a cool theme too and it is in a great location.

I enjoyed a comfortable two stay here in central Christchurch. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Lots of nearby cafes for breakfast & restaurants from evening meals. Loved the tram route through the outer foyer! The rooms was a little small but for a person travelling on their own, absolutely not a problem. Some (re) constriction work going on at the hotel while \i was there (true of most of central Christchurch I suspect) but apart from some noise starting at 8am, not a big issue. Loved the free fruit bowl at reception too. Would recommend and visit again.

This hotel is exactly what I was looking for within this price range. The staff was friendly and helpful, the place was clean, modern, stylish and location was great. It had the expected amenities — coffee in the room, hair dryer, etc. It's a great place for the price. I would stay there again. I'll say that my room was pretty small. That's not something I care about, but if you want a larger room you'll have to ask if they have them available.

My partner and I stayed in the superior room at 233.00 a night. This hotel is not good value for your money. When I made the reservation I asked for a room with bath and balcony. Upon arrival our generous size room was tiny, there was no bath it was unclean with broken pieces of glass in and around the fridge. Our room was left unserviced despite having the service sign out. When we made a complaint about our concerns the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, I was also told that there are no rooms with both balcony and bath despite being assured of this when I made the booking. Very disappointing stay.

We had an unfortunate experience at this hotel. Finding the room small, noisy and dirty, with cigarette smoke drifting in from an adjoining space, we complained but were not assisted in any way. The staff were polite, but one told us that they disagreed so strongly with management's way of doing business that they were leaving the hotel's employ. In short, we may have been unlucky, but we consider the hotel disreputable and we cannot therefore recommend it. There are better bets, with more character, and a less obviously avaricious attitude to customers, than Hotel 115.
