Right on Rembrandt's Plein, pretty standard hotel, needs some updating, but the location is fantastic.

Awesome location. Very near the main attractions. Took the highest room and were very satisfied with it. It might be loud but when you are tired, you don’t care. :)

Noisy, dirty, unfriendly staff, no aircondition. If you're in Amsterdam for the parties, this place might work for you. Did I mention it was noisy?

Amazing hostel, cheap, central, allows smoking inside the rooms. Amazing staff members, super secure and all round an enjoyable experience.

You get a simple room, where you will hear the street noise through the window, where you can still smell a bit of smoke from smokers, where you need to open the window all night (even more noise) because you can not turn off the heater BUT the staff is friendly, it is cheap and you are very close to main trainstation :-)

My worst hotel nightmares came true with this one. I'm actually in shock that I survived 3 nights of horror in this hotel. Firstly, it is hands down the worst hotel I've stayed in. The location was outstanding and the staff was friendly. Sadly, it all ends here. The hotel offers zero level of hygiene. The rooms stink and it is the worst smell. The beds are far being comfy. We were suffocating in the entire stay as there is hardly any ventilation in the rooms. The toilets and bathrooms have zero ventilation. The hotel has clearly stated that they have no elevators and have stairs. But you cannot even imagine the steepness of these stairs. It is almost impossible for a single person to carry their luggage without tripping over. For the amount of inconvenience, the hotel is extremely pricey. I would strongly recommend everyone to stay out of it.

Perfect for a party weekend stay.

My most favourite place in Amsterdam. Stayed here 2 times and whilst the surroundings are basic the welcome is world class. The best cafe and hotel this side of Centraal station.

You get what you pay for, I'd definitely stay here again.

Loved it! Great value, right next to the train station and right next to the city centre. Everyone who works there is lovely.

Reasonable price, excellent location. Very friendly service, a bar downstares is a convenient place to get a beer or a hot beverage. Accommodations are a bit worn and dark, but everything is in working condition.

Good beer Guinness, affordable price, that yes the staff quite rude, but if you want to watch football these in the right place as they broadcast international matches.

The hotel was nice. Affordable and in a good location. Similar to a hostile with shared restrooms but the staff were nice and helpful. There is a quaint bar on the bottom floor as well.

Difficult to sleep and shower too spacious in relation to the bathroom. You could do another bathroom at the expense of a part of the shower.

Not a five star hotel… but if you need some place to lay your head while you run around Amsterdam having a great time I would definitely recommend it.

The stairs are tooooo scary and we dont have a Wi-Fi (un like the promise) the service is nice here.

Loved the place right in the centre of everything and friendly staff. Very small room but done the job for the days we stayed.

I stayed here 2 weeks ago. Really really enjoyed the stay and felt very welcome. The room was ok but I wasn't looking for something better because I planned on being out most of the time. The bar and staff however were extremely friendly. I strongly recommend staying here to anyone who doesn't need a 5 star bedroom.

Arrived told us we had only booked a room for 2 people when it was 4. Might as well stayed in a hostel very expensive not what it looked like in the photo. Also told us check out was 12 the day before and then knocked on at 10.30 to say to get out. We went of the reviews which everyone seems to have stayed Ina. Good room which we did not so maybe they put us in the wrong room.

It is a nice place really close to the train station and with an amazing bar at the entrance. Really worth it.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. You can smoke, the owner is sympathetic, easy and runs a beautiful pub underneath the hotel. It gets charged, but not too much considered the city.

Best bar ever, the bartender was a nice guy, great music, nice service. I honestly recommend this place.

Couldnt have picked a better place to stay. Very friendly staff. Rooms are small but if you only need a bed it's more than enough. Be careful in the shower. The floor is very slippery when wet. (Auch) it is only 5-10 minutes from everything. Red light district is 2 min away. Damrak square 6 min. I will pick this hotel next time for sure. The hotel has a lot of historic value.

Great café with a typical Amsterdam atmosphere. Always pleasant to have a beer with hotel guests or the regulars.

A real sucks! stay away.

Stayed here a week with a couple of buddies. Bathrooms are shared with other rooms but work well and are very clean. The staff in the bar downstairs were very helpful. As long as you know that you're not getting a fully staffed HOTEL but a low-cost alternative in an interesting part of town, you'll be just fine. Good for friends touring but probably not for families but then you wouldn't be staying in the Red Light District if you were, now would you.

The Bar of the hotel feels like a living room. The people who work there, also enjoy their night of at the bar :-).
