Simple Hotel but with a strategic Position. Very nice. The breakfast is very complete! I highly recommend it.

You won’t find a better location for the price. The rooms were very dated and basic. There was no natural light/window but it was clean, warm and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and after an early morning flight, we were able to leave our cases before checkin. The room was cleaned daily and we had fresh towels everyday. Great place to be based for exploring the city.

The hotel was a great location, just a few minutes from the dam square and the central station, just across the bridge and there is also a few coffee shops near by, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff at reception was very polite and friendly orther then one man who just looked moody all time, the breakfast was ok? Not the best as there ain’t much choice, but overall I enjoyed my stay for the three days I was there for, I would defently come back to this hotel:) one tourist attraction I would recommend to go to is the lookout tower and go on the over the edge swing, it was my first time on it and im so glad I went and experienced it beacuse the view was just amazing! go there of a night as it’s better though, and to get there go strainght across the bridge then right and head towards the central station and go through it all he way down to the bottom and that’s it and you will see the lookout tower, and walk left and you will see the free ferry to get over to it, hope this helps…

Great place nice clean and in the best location for food and the train station plus I have had the best room would not go anywhere else but this hotel.

Just back from a week's stay with my friends. Hotel is clean and also serves a good breakfast. The location is also great, a few minutes away from Dam Square and the central station, having lots of bars, coffee shops, shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely return to it upon my next visit.

My husband and myself are just back from 3 night stay here to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. This was out first trip to Amsterdam and I can definitely say we will be returning some time in the not so distant future. Once we can came out of the train station our hotel was very easy to find, and we were greeted by a lovely lady in reception. Although we arrived before check in time she checked to see if our room was ready and let us check in early which was great. We were on the second floor but where situated in the front room 2121. This room was great, very clean and had everything we needed for our stay taking into consideration what we paid for our stay it was great value for money. The only critisism is that our room was a little noisy in the evening as the hotel is so centrally located. The breakfast was simple but good variety again you get what you pay for, it set us up for the day which was all we wanted. This hotel is literally a 5-10 minute walk from dam square and plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee shops very close by. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return someday soon. Thank you everyone at hotel koopermoolen for making our special weekend so good.

Great location. Suprisingly silent place. Nice and helpful staff. Breakfasts are quite poor. And please: do not serve raw 'boiled' eggs again ;)

Really enjoyed my stay at the koopermoolen very friendly helpful staff at reception and my room was fine the only thing could of been better was the breakfast there wasn't much choice in my opinion however I would definitely come stay and here again in the future.
