Very nice hotel! Nice Service.

Large rooms but you smell of smoke. The pub and restaurant have great quality price ratio. The location to turn the city is fabulous. The staff are courteous and helpful.

Conveniently located right next to the train station. Also right in the city center. The location is great if you like to be right in he center of the action. You can walk to anywhere in the city center from here. The hotel itself is a bit dated inside and equipped with only the bare necessities. The concierge was generally helpful, especially Carlo who even called to make sure I would find the hotel without any trouble. I would definitely stay here again.

Very well placed hotel, close to the train station and different historical center.
The room is large and clean but a little run down.
The reception is very nice I would highly recommend.

Very kind attention. Good location in front of the central station in the old quarter. Nearby there are many bars and restaurants. The hotel offers breakfast. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel has an elevator although it has between floors so we can see up the suitcase x some steps. Overall it's good hotel.

Clean and comfortable. The staff were VERY helpful and the food in the bar was good value for money. Was there working but intend going back there with my family. Perfectly situated for the town and the station.

Stayed there last year and was a fantastic place to stay, it's within sight from the train station and the beds were very comfortable for the price we paid.

Great hotel on my own staff welcoming very nice and spacious rooms with bathroom also very spacious, good breakfast buffet with wide choice between sweet and savory, great location close to the station and the red light district, very close Also at Dam Square.

Large, clean and cozy rooms. Amsterdam features with very particular architecture. You sleep comfortably and the services are perfect. The staff at the Hotel are friendly and helpful. Only flaw in our short stay was the late check in of 1h since our two rooms were not ready yet (when 3h before we had confirmed the time then unfulfilled).

Old but in the center not too expensive, spacious room (it looks like an outhouse lol) and besides you can smoke the weed in it says nothing.

Fantastic rooms wonderful staff exquisite and all spotless. Also very cheap. Perfect location near the station and all the attractions. Sure if I pass by Amsterdam I will want to go back.

Love the prins hendrik, stayed many times and will certainly be back many more times. The apartments on the top floor are something else. Heard and seen some strange things in the 'Chet Baker room' although this could be put down to the staff having a joke and/or some truffles I'd consumed earlier in the day :)

Although we were so close to the center, we were able to sleep well and restful:)

One of the receptionists was a bit cold, but others were friendly. The stay was enjoyable though the room was a bit dark and the furniture a bit out-dated considering all the money they can make (the hotel is fully booked every night and a bit costy). The location is both good and bad: good/ at the center of the city near to all tram connections and interesting spots to visit bad/ there is a lot of noise coming from the street. Perhaps they should consider investing in better windows. Finally, the breakfast is pretty good though the coffee tastes like water. But again there is a warm feeling. Big thanks to the other receptionists once again.

Fantastic location right by Centraal station and close to everything! Room are clean are perfect for a stay for a long weekend, all round great experience with friendly staff!

We have a 3 person room and it is quite comfortable. With space to coexist, towels and other leftovers, adjustable heating and throughout the center. Definitely a aciertazo. Being right in front of Centraal is a privilege.

Hotel in Amsterdam with very good location near the central train station. The rate includes breakfast very varied.

Visited this hotel on the 23rd November for 2 nights. Brilliant location and the hotel staff were amazing! they gave us two direction sheets that they had created themselves which was brilliant. Also we booked some trips and the prices were so cheap compared to other tour shops. The hotel room itself was surprisingly spacious and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. Outside was a bit noisy during the night as its located in the city center but nothing to actually interrupt our sleep or nothing we didn't except. Would definitely recommend.

Hotel in front of the central station, with little you're at Dam Square. It is very clean, friendly staff have been there 2 times and surely there will be a third! :-)

Very basic room, €100 rate is for convenient location, right across train station, plenty of tourist sites nearby, okay for short stay.

Fabulous. Great and clean rooms. The location is absolutely fantastic. Station and center at your fingertips. Very varied breakfast buffet. Excellent value for money. Very nice staff I recommend it.

Decent, only problem is the room key that must be kept at the reception and they will only provide one per room.

Fantastic location, right in the city centre. There is lots of bars, coffeeshops and anything else you would want nearby, only downside is vondelpark is about 40 minute walk away. The rooms are good, everything is nice and clean. Service was great, only negative I could think was the breakfast which wasn't that nice.

This is a comfortable place to stay and breakfast is included and what a delicious breakfast it is. I was delighted with the choices and the dining room is wonderfully glamorous. The desk staff were charming and helpful. Plus, the location is sublime, right across from the main train station.

Great location, great breakfast and plentiful, courteous and knowledgeable staff, discounts and queue jumps available at the hotel (no for the Anne Frank Museum where you or book 2 months before or make about 2 hours of queue to enter). Furniture is improved because it is dated. I recommend it.

A lovely hotel, looks smaller than it is, the restaurant / breakfast area is huge and the food fresh and plentiful. The staff are lovely and accommodating, one even grabbed a map and drew a walking tour for us to follow and we did! It has a cute little bar attached which has a pool table in the basement.

Located very close to the centre of Amsterdam it is convenient to reach all services and places of interest. Great rooms although a little old and very courteous staff. We also had breakfast: very plentiful and great.

Super location in the heart of the city Super location, directly opposite the Central Station, at the entrance of the old town. Friendly staff, prepared and helpful doormen. Good Buffet Breakfast. Generous Room. Many of the rooms with the Elevator. Good value for money for Amsterdam. Facility is old and very abgelebt. Single glazing of the Windows. Not barrier-free, steep stairs, some stairs in the room. Gassenlärm up in the morning, a lot of public traffic in the lanes in front of and behind the house.

The best breakfast in Amsterdam. The hotel's room are super clean and comfortable. From here you can reach every spot in amsterdam, it's close to everything! A nice esperience.

Stayed there in late 1990s, and I thought we had been robbed with all the noise in the hall at 2:30 AM. But our room was fine, and the breakfast "nook"was excellent. It SOUNDS like it has lost a bit of it's "sheen", but for the money spent, it was just fine. WE paid $202 USD per night.

At about 3:00 am on Friday May 13, 1988, Chet Baker was found dead on the Zeedijk, the street below his second-story room at the Prins Hendrik Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands, with serious wounds to his head. Heroin and cocaine were found in his hotel room, and an autopsy also found these drugs in his body. There was no evidence of a struggle, and the death was ruled an accident.

It's a very bad hotel, don't have any service, all the staff sucks, the rates are very expensive and the rooms! the rooms are terrible! small, dirty, you only have one key, if you loose the key you pay for that. I'm not recomend to you that terrible hotel, is more than a hostal, a very bad hostal. Very expensive, small, bad service.
