Everything was excellent during our December 2025 visit to the Hansa Hotel. We loved the great, quiet location.

This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Namibia in terms of comfort. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning were very reliable, and the staff was very helpful.

Very unique accommodation with the chalets built on stiltz. The units were connected by wooden walkways. So too was the sunset viewing deck and the breakfast room.

Loved the setting, extremely well run accommodation. Everything is clean, working and neat. Kudo to the management.
PS the included breakfast is super… really yummy.

Highly recommend this hotel with central location in Swakopmund…nice blend of local charm, comfort and quality. Was easy to walk to nearby shops, restaurants and woolworths.

This gem in the old part of the town is wonderful. Literally all the employees are super nice and angels and are fulfilling all your wishes. The food (breakfast and dinner) was delicious.

The guesthouse has an amazing location close to the beach, city center and some nice restaurants and is still very peaceful and quiet.

A great location close to all amenities. David and the team are warm welcoming hosts who can't do enough for you. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated.

The hotel is located north of Swakopmund in a quiet area right by the sea. Every room has a direct sea view.

We stayed two nights at the Beach lodge. The service was good, the rooms clean. It is situated in the north of Swakopmund, so not in the centre.

A safe location. I loved the decor of the cottage. The staff was friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The place is clean and cozy. They had all the appliances one would need for a lovely getaway.

We loved their humour about the flies. Kitchen was perfectly equipped. No sun for the braai which is not the fault of the place.

This property is a gorgeous historic building. Our room was spacious and the mattress so comfortable. Delicious food with reasonable prices and great services.

The newly renovated rooms are a must-try modern, comfortable, and beautifully designed.

Such a cool place to stay. We got our own large private house which is spotlessly clean and felt really good to have that space. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms are individually decorated — my friend had the room with chandelier and bath tub 🛁. Every room comfortable.

Located in a very convenient location in town, near to the beach it is a place that you will enjoy. Marvelous, helpful, friendly staff will make you feel home.

Part of our journey included spending a few nights in Swakopmund.

The service was outstanding; I would however suggest that you remove the carpets from the rooms as that is not very hygienic.

A lovely hotel by the sea in Swakopmund. We received a warm welcome and the female receptionist was very helpful in organising dinner reservations and a morning kayaking tour.

Exceptional beachfront location offering direct ocean views and easy access to both Swakopmund center and beach.

We stayed at Cornerstone in early May 2026. It was easy to find. The reception was nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were good. Breakfast was very good.

A delightful guesthouse situated in walking distance from the sea and the town centre. Very well appointed impeccably clean rooms. Very friendly welcome. Great breakfast.

Charming Guesthouse in Swakopmund: Villa Wiese.
Villa Wiese in Swakopmund is a truly special place to stay.

We had a wonderful night stay here while on a multi-day safari tour. The beds were very comfortable, the decorations charming, and owners are kind.

A lovely hotel with individually decorated rooms. All very comfortable with luxurious touches like homemade brownie, complimentary port. Close to pier where there’s a very good restaurant.

We had two wonderful nights. Very friendly atmosphere, location perfect to beach, restaurant and city center, parking in front of the hotel at the street with guard, we felt very safe.

Wonderful hotel with top standards. Loved the room design — perfect for the climate.

Excellent central location near the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean; our balcony had a great partial sea view. Even during New Year, the room was cool enough at night without A/C.

We love the Alternative Space! An amazing setting, funky rooms, a self-help breakfast, and Sibylle and Frenus are the best hosts ever!

Staying at Alternative Space in Swakopmund feels like visiting your eccentric (and fascinating) uncle and aunt!

We have not stayed at the hostel but took a surfing lesson with Salty Jackal, which was a great experience.

Great & very clean Hostel. Nice atmosphere overall and in the 6-people dorm. I felt very comfortable staying there as a solo travelling women.

We had a wonderful stay at Jetty Self-Catering in Swakopmund! The accommodation was exceptionally clean and comfortable, providing the perfect base for our trip.

Rooms was beautiful and clean! Staff are friendly, my only issue is that the Wi-Fi randomly disconnects and slows down, not ideal for working.

These are superb accommodations. Esbi and Sylvio are warm and friendly. It is just a few meters walk down to a beautiful walk along the beach.

Lovely little hotel with all facilities you need… not sure of classification as 4*, I’m no expert but was reasonably priced and good value. Room was lovely.
