Because you have to. Fine dining in upscale style. The best of food and Drink at reasonable prices.

After a lot of road gravel and sand and lots of dust is breathed in, a great oasis with a taste for the touring.

If you think you are living in the wrong century, this is just the place for you, down to the pressed, linen servilettes and solid silver cutlery. A class place with staff on the same level. (Fast food lovers abstain! You will need at least an hour and a half for lunch or dinner — quite a large proportion of which is needed to peruse the extensive menu).

After a few visits to Swakopmund, the Hansa Hotel has become my favourite hotel. Great service, friendliness and first-class food delight the guest. My regular room has been renovated first-class. My best recommendation for your visit to Swakopmund!

Elegant hotel, centrally located, clean rooms, comfi beds, super service, colonial charm, supreme restaurant (food, service and ambience tops! ) … very good choice!

Beautiful classic hotel In the middle of the Village of Swakopmund. The Rooms are classically furnished and clean. The Staff, some of whom speak German, are generally very friendly.
However, there is a Star deduction, because if several Groups want to leave early, as with me, breakfast becomes chaos with completely overwhelmed Staff, who also react very irritated when you point it out to missing Things, then also do not manage to make this Refill.

Unfortunately would've been 5 stars but due to being screamed at for making a small amount of noise early in the evening by one of the staff members it has left a bad taste in my mouth as we were threatened to be kicked off the premises after being screamed at like school children. Such a pity.

Swakopmund's most established hotel with undoubtably the best food in town. The restaurant is the only place in town that feels elegant and makes you wish you'd worn a tuxedo.

I stayed with a group of 16 people, 2 nights at the Hansa Hotel! All of them are very satisfied, very nice reception with sparkling wine, attentive Service and a very good kitchen!

Stayed 3 nights with my wife and a 3 month old baby over Easter, absolutely fabulous experience, loved it! The staff were very nice all of them, they gave the place a family feel. They made us feel special and very welcome, I could not recommend it as a hotel higher! Plus the food is amazingly good, I would eat here even if I was not a guest and obviously a lot of people do as the resturant was packed for lunch and dinner every day! Thanks Hotel Hansa, we will be back!

You must eat at the Restaurant its out of the books. Amazing.

The place a chapter out of the old world. Superbly run with excellent friendly staff, I find it hard to believe that anyone would want to stay anywhere else. The restaurant is easily one of the best in town. Simply sublime food. This is a must on anyone's to visit list!
