Swakopmund Hotels

Everything was excellent during our December 2025 visit to the Hansa Hotel. We loved the great, quiet location.

This was probably the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Namibia in terms of comfort. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning were very reliable, and the staff was very helpful.

Very unique accommodation with the chalets built on stiltz. The units were connected by wooden walkways. So too was the sunset viewing deck and the breakfast room.

Loved the setting, extremely well run accommodation. Everything is clean, working and neat. Kudo to the management.
PS the included breakfast is super… really yummy.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced by a soothing and peaceful atmosphere.

Lovely little hotel with all facilities you need… not sure of classification as 4*, I’m no expert but was reasonably priced and good value. Room was lovely.

My son and I were on a 9-day tour of Namibia in July. Our tour company arranged for two nights at the Cornerstone Guesthouse. It’s a lovely property. The rooms are spacious with all we needed.

Great place to stay, walking distance into town. Breakfast is really good. Sitting in their beautiful garden in the afternoon to watch the birds on the feeders was a highlight.

Very well run/managed boutique b&b. Nice rooms set in a couple of one story bldgs around the central garden, positioned well to give privacy. Our room was spacious & airy. Bathroom small but fine.

This is a beautiful guest house in a perfect quiet location yet close to the sea and restaurants.

A lovely hotel by the sea in Swakopmund. We received a warm welcome and the female receptionist was very helpful in organising dinner reservations and a morning kayaking tour.

Exceptional beachfront location offering direct ocean views and easy access to both Swakopmund center and beach.

Staying at Sea Wind self-catering cottages was comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms are spaces and always clean.

We were really 100% satisfied with everything we needed in the room. We had to book on short notice, yet it was no problem and we could be accommodated.

Lovely hotel a short walk from the Atlantic Ocean. Originally the railway station which has been enlarged extensively. Dinner was a buffet with lots of choice as was breakfast.

Large hotel created from the old railway station; pleasant with a slight sense of faded elegance. Generally clean and tidy, and good location just off the old centre of town.

I had a lovely stay, with a great location, Meike's Guesthouse is ideal for any traveler to Swakopmund, rooms are big and cozy with lots of bathroom space, friendly and efficient staff and great

It was an amazing experience the hotel room was big and all staff was polite. The location was amazing as there was a good beach near the hotel.

Probably the best hotel experience I had in Namibia let alone my 2 month trip to southern Africa (Botswana/S. Africa) Mar/April 25'.

We had a really good time in the organic stay. A place of kindness and honor. We would always come back in case we stay in Swakopmund. Service was perfect and the breakfast fantastic.

The Organic Guest house is well furnished, clean, with helpful staff. The rooms were spacious and clean and private. Only stayed one night but would recommend.

Large and spacious rooms, the decor is zen/scandinavian like. I would stay there again. Near by the main street and the beach boardwalk (5 min walking). I would stay there again.

Swakopmund is the popular tourist destination in Namibia.
This is an adventurous trip to learn more about the dessert and the Sandwich Harbour in Namibia.

Pleasant guesthouse, featuring a spacious family room with a separate parents’ area. Located in a very quiet, residential neighborhood — a different side of Namibia.

Café Anton offers delicious sweets and breakfast. We had a safe arrival and stay at the Hotel, also with a night late check in!

We stayed for 2 nights in December 2025. Our room had thoughtful amenities like bedside shelves with charging stations, a spacious shower, water kettle, and plug adapter.

I had a very pleasant stay at Villa Weise during my time in Swakopmund. The staff are very friendly and kind.

Hotel is well situated with amazing views. The hotel room was clean, comfortable and had spectacular views from both balconies. The breakfast was superb and the staff simply awesome!

Perfect place for our family with kids (11 & 14)! Clean room, friendly team, and yummy breakfast! The location also works for walking to some city sites and eats.

Excellent central location near the beach. The rooms are spacious and clean; our balcony had a great partial sea view. Even during New Year, the room was cool enough at night without A/C.

Super friendly staff — nothing was ever too much. The rooms were lovingly decorated. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed at Namib Guesthouse in August 2025 and it was a great experience.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and clean and have everything you need. The decoration could be a little more cozy/warm to give the guesthouse more “soul”.

Artemis Hotel is very well located — close to the coast and only about 500 meters from the Jetty and the well-known Tuc restaurant.

This hotel met our needs. Decor is fresh and we, ll put together. Breakfast was lovely. Staff are always cleaning. Feels fresh. A good stay.

All and all it met my expectations. Nothing stood out as remarkable, but nothing disappointed. The location is nice. The restaurant and bar are comfortable.

Staying at Alternative Space in Swakopmund feels like visiting your eccentric (and fascinating) uncle and aunt!

Great relaxed experience, lots of laughs and stories with the hosts. Highly recommended…
