From enquiry to leaving, I cannot fault the accommodating nature of the staff. Extremely helpful and flexible in meeting customer needs. The room we stayed in was beautifully located, as is the establishment in general. The biggest and horrible surprise was that cockroaches were roaming freely. I could hardly sleep as they came up to the bed on 3 different occasions. That had me anxious all night as I had to allow my partner to sleep given that he had tight working shift so I couldn't keep lights on. We couldn't think to bath there. Fortunately, I only booked for one night. I was really disappointed because that was my birthday weekend and that experience kind of put a damper on the overall coastal stay. I had limited time to spend with my partner and that was the accommodation that I picked…

Rooms was beautiful and clean! Staff are friendly, my only issue is that the Wi-Fi randomly disconnects and slows down, not ideal for working.

Historical building with beautifully renovated rooms. Very clean. Super comfortable beds. Lovely friendly staff. We'd definitely come back if we were in the area again.

Nice room, with partially sea view. The room was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful.
The metal strips which borders the tiles at the shower are very sharp at the corner where you step out from the shower. You handyman should have a look at that.

The service was excellent, the room was beautifully themed to suit the sea. I would definitely stay there again. The Jetty is also situated close to everything you need. And we fell off to sleep with the sound of the ocean.

Loved the Jetty. Across the road from the beach. Within walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Approachable hosts and friendly, upbeat staff — it was always a pleasure to meet one of them in the courtyard. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Well appointed kitchen and clean spacious bathroom. Safe off-road parking. Real value for money.

Thanks for a great stay, neat rooms and hospitable people. Being in the town centre puts everything within walking distance, which was refreshing, and the beach was so close by … We'll be back in January when my son and I's course continues. Blackout curtains would have been nice though, for a sounder sleep.

I absolutely loved my stay at Jetty Self catering! Because the other rooms weren‘t fully booked, I got an upgrade and had a whole apartment with a kitchen, a TV and a terrasse. The beautiful beach is right in front of the hotel and from my room I could hear the waves.
10/10, would definetely go there again!

Clean, central to walk wherever you wish in Swakopmund. Staff very helpful and friendly. As far as self-catering goes the unit we had was well equipped.

Our stay at Jetty was peaceful and pleasant, but the place is in urgent need of renovation.
It's located close to the sea, and at night you can hear the sound of the waves, which is very relaxing.
The owner was friendly.

We liked this place so much! very cute and comfy! also this place is right in front of the beach and there is 2 good restaurants in front (jetty restaurant and the tug)! we will come back for sure! also the staff was so kind.

I have stayed at Jetty Self-Catering during my Naibian solo trip in May 2025. Even though I spent only one night at these apartments, that was a very convenient and pleasant stay, and I wish I could stay longer.
The apartments are conveniently located at the ocean shore — just some 50 meters, perhaps, from the shoreline. At the same time, it is also close to various shopping and eating places. Besides, basically all beautiful sights worth seeing in Swakopmund are also nearby within walking distance.
The apartments are fully equipped with everything one needs to cook, relax and sleep well.
And, the most important aspect — the staff was very helpful and expressed warm hospitality :)
The only minor issue I had was trying to find the entrance to this facility when I just arrived, as there seemed to be no formal reception desk. Suddenly, I saw another tourist emerging from the sliding gates, which gave me a chance to sneak in and to find a staff etc.
Otherwise all the rest is great :)
Will definitely come again if/when in Namibia.

We had a wonderful stay at Jetty Self-Catering. The staff were pleasant. Rooms clean and comfortable. You will have to remember that the house was build it 1912 so it is a bit creaky but that was all part of the charm. It is right across from the sea and you can walk to lovely restaurants and awesome pubs. Safe parking. Thank you.

The service at this location is great, the rooms are neat and fully equipped with self catering necessities.

Falling asleep, awakening in the middle of the night and waking up with the sound of waves breaking. What bliss! Renovated with care, appreciation of old furniture. Friendly and very supportive host and staff, being just a phonecall away. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for very good memories.

It was great staying at the Jetty, and we always like coming back. It may not be the most fashionable home, but it feels like a real home. From the moment of arrival, late night when the owner himself was there to welcome us until the last moment when the wonderful busy bees around the house helped us with putting all belongings together. Very nice.
