Your car is in a save place.

It was an amazing experience the hotel room was big and all staff was polite. The location was amazing as there was a good beach near the hotel. The breakfast was good and had different options for different days. If you don’t know what activity to do they can help you with choosing by giving you various options.

We celebrated my sister’s 60th birthday at their beautiful restaurant, and it was truly a memorable experience. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options, from fresh fruits and smoothies to pastries and hot dishes like made-to-order omelets and crispy bacon. David, who served us, was attentive and friendly, even surprising my sister with crumpets after singing to her. The ocean view was absolutely spectacular.

Perfect property but poor service from the white hair manager who even lied to client only one key for each room but your cash been stolen in your wallet on the table in the room, we can see everyone working there were complaining about her. Hope new excellent management to correct the current status. This is only accommodation property in Swakop u need to take care of your belongings.

Stayed for 2 nights in May 2025 in a ground floor room with a view of the ocean. Very comfortable room with great views. Location is about 40 mins drive to Walvis Bay excursions, and well placed for a quick exit if heading north after. Breakfast and dinner was nice, and all staff were very nice. Would recommend.

We, 2 adults and 2 teenagers, stayed at this wonderful seafront hotel 2 nights end of April to relax after travelling through Namibia for 2 weeks. Family room was spatious and clean with direct access to the garden and the beach. Breakfast was very good and served in the Wreck restaurant on top of the hotel building. Table for dinner could also be reserved there. Parking space was available for our 4x4 in the hotel court. People were always very friendly and helpful. We can highly recommend this place.

The Hotel is a… distance from the city center, so we always had to use the car.
The rooms are a bit dated and could use some renovation. They're also quite cold in wintertime.
The seaview is unique.

The place was easily accessible. The employees were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The tranquility from the sea breeze in the morning.

I was extremely happy with my stay at the Beach Lodge. The environment was peaceful and spotlessly clean, with modern decor and sleek finishes that added to the overall charm. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, organizing transportation for me and recommending safe, clean restaurants and engaging activities to enjoy while in Swakopmund. To top it all off, the view of the Catalina was absolutely breathtaking, making my experience truly unforgettable.

On the beach with the sound of the sea as music to your ears. Spacious room, very clean, modern touch and comfortable beds.

Great Oceanside location with a nice room to match. I stayed here for two nights and the service was great across all fronts. It is very nice to have some cool beach breezes after traversing from the desert areas to the south (e. G. Solitaire). My rate included breakfast, which was served in the top floor restaurant and well appointed. I also ate once evening at the first floor “bar” area — it was reasonably well done, but they close a bit on the early side — suppose it is to not compete with the upstairs restaurant.

Cant stop saying what a wonderful location, right on the beach as your position states. Comfortable and all that one requires for a stay. One exception was children screaming and playing cricket right in front of the rooms, this should be restricted, as people like to have a peaceful stay. But position excellent and dining facilities on the spot.

I stayed here as part of a tour group of 6. My room was lovely, comfortable bed, monstrous bathroom and the most incredible view of the beach and Atlantic Ocean. It was gorgeous. It was very cold and the heater didn't work so the staff organised a new heater which was much appreciated. The dining and breakfast buffet were excellent. I really enjoyed staying here.

We loved our time here! It was a welcome break from a week of camping but the staff and the venue stood out as being a place we will hopefully be back to in future!

Beautiful location right on the beach and staff were very friendly. The restaurant had amazing views and the breakfasts were excellent with hot food cooked to order, in addition to the cold buffet options. Rooms were a reasonable size and we had a small kitchenette in ours. A couple of minor grumbles were that the restaurant was not open on the Sunday night and there was a light in the communal area of the hotel, which shone into the room as the door had a window in it. Overall the accessibility was good with a lift to the main restaurant.

Nice hotel with spacious rooms. Bathrooms are really modern, bedrooms could be renovated. Heating was offered, as we were there in the beginning of winter.
Service at the reception and at the restaurant for dinner was really friendly and helpful, the staff at breakfast did not seem very motivated though.
Location at the beach is nice but a little far from the town center.

I have been staying at The Beach lodge for about 15 years and I would recommend it to any one, traveling alone, as a couple or as a family (I have done it all over the years) The staff is super sufficient and very friendly and knowledgeable. The bedding is always fresh and super white. The rooms are always clean and very luxurious. You can't beat the view! The restaurant food, staff and overall experience is 5 star! The tranquil atmosphere wakes my soul every time. Sunsets at the Beach Lodge is a photographers dream! Maintenance are part of their daily routine. Keeping a property in such mint condition right by the sea is not easy, but Andre gets this done in a super fashion. The upgrades and new additions keeps adding to the wonderful experience. You simply can't stay in Swakopmund without visiting this amazing establishment. We'll done to Andre and his top quality team! Michelle (Cape Town)
