10/10

My family and I stayed at Riad Azia for 7 nights, and it was genuinely one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in Marrakech. The riad is beautifully maintained — clean rooms, a lovely pool view, and a calm, cosy atmosphere that feels perfect for families, especially those travelling with young children.
What truly made our stay special was the friendly and loving staff. Yousuf and Ahmed at reception were exceptional — always supportive, warm, and ready to help with anything we needed throughout the entire stay. Their kindness made us feel at home.
The riad is baby‑friendly, which was a huge relief. Everything from the room setup to the general environment felt safe and comfortable for our little one.
Breakfast was delicious every morning, and the rest of the food served at the riad was equally impressive — fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared.
I would highly recommend Riad Azia for families looking for a peaceful, welcoming stay in Marrakech. We truly miss those Marrakech days now.

I am a hairstylist, and a client booked an appointment with me at this riad. Before my arrival, I asked her to contact the management to make sure hairstylists were allowed to enter, and they agreed. However, when I arrived, the receptionist told me that entry was not allowed. When my client came downstairs, they admitted that they had approved it, but said they needed another authorization. They kept delaying and wasting our time without giving a clear answer.
In the end, they finally allowed me to enter, but I was taken to a very small and uncomfortable room, and my client had to come there herself to get her hair done. The appointment only took 30 minutes, yet the whole experience was unnecessarily stressful and disappointing.
I hope this place improves its policy and becomes more friendly, welcoming, and respectful toward both guests and professionals.

My partner and I due to unforeseen circumstances needed to extend our stay in Marrakesh. We had already had our ‘holiday’ and checked out of previous riad. We quickly found that riad azia had availability for us and booked for an extra two nights. The stay was smooth and comfortable. Staff were super friendly. The rooms very plush with big comfortable bed and lovely big bathroom and shower space. The riad itself is a blend of traditional Moroccan style with a lovely modern touch. Lovely courtyard, roof terrace to relax and the riad has a mini outdoor pool and couple of sun loungers (we would have used if the weather was kinder to us! ). Lovely food (breakfast and evening meals ate here) and great choice. Very clean, comfortable stay.
We did experience a bit of flooding/leakage in our room however we did have freak, unprecedented weather of a hail/snow storm in April! So we understand this is probably not a typical situation. This was not too disruptive by any means and please note again this was likely due to freak weather and we imagine not a common occurrence!
The riad is about a 20 min drive from the medina and walled city — would be ideal to taxi to or get an inDrive. The hotel itself is closer to the airport but does have a small supermarket, restaurant and amenities in walking distance. For full exploration again would need to book a taxi.
The riad seemed to offer a wide range of trips and excursions too!
