Marrakech Hotels near Koutoubia Minaret

We just got back from an amazing holiday to Marakesh Staying at the Le Naoura Hotel. There are so many positives it is hard to know where to begin.

My family and some friends stayed at the hotel in August 2025, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish!

What I’ll remember from Itrane will be the people.
Truly accommodating — thank you for going the extra mile with our late dinner.
Food was 10/10 and breakfasts were a real treat.

I came here with my partner for a holiday and it was amazing. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. They will give you lots of helpful advice at any time of day.

We split our Marrakech stay between Dar des Arts and Riad 72 — three nights at each — so we got to experience two different riads on opposite sides of the medina. Dar des Arts was the clear standout.

The staff were super friendly, extremely helpful providing a map of the city, spending the time to explain the dos and don’ts and a very warm welcome! We were treated as if we were at a 5 star hotel.

The Riad Samsli was a wonderful respite in the middle of the medina in Marrakech. The rooms are each beautifully and uniquely decorated. The hotel is spotless and breakfast is delicious.

Riad Samsli — I highly rate this Riad. It was perfect in every way. The lady of the house — whose name I took but cannot find now was fantastic.

Riad XO is a fantastic Riad with friendly staff and very good amenities. The rooms and facilities are exactly how they pictured on Hotels. Com and other similar websites.

A lovely and beautifully appointed riad in a great location. Touffic was fantastic from the moment we arrived, greeting us at the taxi, sharing recommendations, and starring places on Maps.

Excellent service. Beautiful room. Shower with hot water working perfectly. Breakfast with everything you would possibly need.

We visited here in Dec '25 and it was just the most lovely stay. We were actually in the Ria PETIT Karmela and it is literally just across the way from the main Karmela where you have breakfast.

I cannot recommend this beautiful riad enough. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel incredibly welcome.

Gorgeous little Riad in the top end of the Medina. The staff were fantastic and could not do enough for you, even tracking down Earl Grey tea for us fussy Brits.

Fantastic place for our short break from the UK winter. The Riad is located close to all the tourist attractions, within the city.

We received a very warm welcome from Madame Sylvie and her lovely staff. We arrived at lunch time and had a delicious lunch by the pool.

We have stayed in dar les cicognes for four days. Since the first moment all the staff has been wonderful to us, they were always avalable to every request we made.

Genuine, warm welcome in a beautiful riad conveniently located near many of the interesting sights in the city.

What a beautiful place. We arrived in the searing midday heat unsure of what we would find.

From the moment we stepped inside this beautiful riad we felt like we had a home in Marrakech. We arrived very early from the US and were invited to relax in the serene environment.

Most recommendable place in Marrakech. Your home away from home. Perfectly placed near the gran plaza but still a bit a away from the worst hustle and bustle — where you can retreat and really relax.

We had the best stay at Riad Aya. Firstly, it is in an extremely convenient location: right by the souks without being directly in them so you could escape the madness.

Fabulous traditional Riad in the Old Medina. Authentic Moroccan design with a beautiful roof terrace for relaxing in the heat of the day or evenings.

Riad Jaaneman is perfectly located right in the heart of Marrakech, super close to the souks, yet the moment you step inside it feels like a true oasis of calm.

Two weeks ago, we had a memorable stay at this lovely riad in Marrakech. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly upgraded to a room with a private rooftop terrace.

Being completely honest, Almaha was not my first choice, but it came highly recommended by our travel agent.

I stayed here 4 nights and the service was fab: location was great in terms of pick up for activities and accessing the medina.

We had a truly lovely stay at this beautiful riad. Said looked after us wonderfully — arranging our pick-up, early transfers, and even guiding us to a great nearby restaurant when we arrived late.

We loved our stay at Dar Akal, Saïd was the best host ever and the rooms were AMAZING! The breakfast was good, the hammam, massage and scrub were lovely and we loved every bit of this Dar.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Mirai thanks to our hosts! The hotel was well located inside Marrakech's Medina, but still easy to access from the airport because close from one of the gates.

The staff were very accommodating, with my arrival time, and even helped me find another Riad when I extended my stay and they were full. Saad was a fantastic host!

I stayed at Riad Dar Saad for a couple of days earlier this year and it was a serene beginning to my time in Morocco.

We visited the spa for the cafe. It is like an oasis of calm and tranquility surrounded by the madness of the soul.
It was well laid out with comfortable seating.

I cannot recommend this riad enough. Excellently located near the central square but quiet enough to feel being miles away from the craziness, this was a true gem.

I really can't share enough good things about this hotel and the spa.
