There is no Wi-Fi, the cable on the TV does not work, even knowing that on my reservation there were 4, there was only service for 2… Very nice hotel but the rooms are old and smell bad. Very friendly staff but treat you according to the color of your bracelet.

We had a great time and the staff was incredible and so accommodating. We tipped our housekeeping well and were treated royally. I highly recommend staying here.

First time in Cancún and I enjoyed very much your hotel. Great accommodations, choices of restaurants. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. The Buffett in Fountain Blue could be better. Often the food was cold, not great quality or choices. Suggest a better menu and serving meals hot. White market was excellent to eat, great choices of food, hot and friendly staff. Loved the White Box for lunch, loved the menu choices, was simple but every dish delicious. Dinning at Benazuzu was an experience I will never forget. Excellent menu and presentation of dishes, wines and desserts. Staff was awsome! very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant and experience.

Nothing, horrible food, poor hygiene, lousy service. From the reception are super rude, there is nest of mice near one of the pools and the staff mostly not friendly, deny drinks and food and when they serve do it reluctantly.

The common area of ​​the guests is very pleasant. Reasonable food and poor quality drink. The rooms need maintenance … the first room smelled musty and wet all over inside. They didn't want to change … on the second day that got all wet I lost my temper and finally got a new room. A little better … It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in cancun regarding the room!

Absolutely the worst hotel you can pick for your holidays. There is literally nothing good about this place. I’ve stayed at over 25 vacation spots and this was the worst. Hotel is dirty, staff are rude, pool is disgusting, food is dog quality, no water available, they charge for it (but restock every two days), alcohol is watered down, no bar at the beach, not kids friendly (or wheelchair), literally the worst hotel possible in Mexico! Never going to recommend this place to anyone.

Had a great stay, most noticable thing to add was the waiting staff in all the restaurants and bar. Would especially love to point out that the bar staff at Bar Lovento (sports bar) were absolutely incredible, especially Carlos Dominguez. Well done guys and keep up the great effort!

Horrible rooms, horrible service, tasteless food… u have to fight to get a bottle of water in the room.

The days and nights that passed, were amazing, the room comfortable, hot water, ample space and ventilation. The pools are always clean, the beds in good condition, the corridors free, outdoor activities. The food was always good, varied, and enough. The beach was the best, from sunrise to dusk, an amazing view, clean, safely.
I would return again, without hesitation!

Although the beaches and the ocean were nice, that was the only decent part of our trip. The all inclusive passes are, indeed, not all inclusive, and we ended up having to pay fees here and there, including a $30 fee just to check into our hotel room at the Oasis in Cancun. They offer free food and drinks, but they will make you so sick you will hardly have anything at all. Two of the friends I went with saw them take an empty liquor bottle out of the trash and proceed to mix two different half empty bottles of alcohol together and call it Rum. Besides the food and drinks, the rest of the facility was not much better. There was sand in the hotel room when we got there, the pillows were hard and flat, and the running water in the bathrooms smelled like sewer. You also had to be careful when taking a shower or flushing the toilet because that would often trigger the sink to start leaking and flood your bathroom. We also ran into a couple other vacationers while we were there, one of which had his passport stolen out of suitcase and mysteriously ended up at the front desk, where he was forced to pay to get it back. Another one was charged $300 for a cab ride down a few blocks, because he was misled by the driver as she made him believe he was only paying 300 pesos instead.

Would rather spend my money on a jail cell and have a better experience, food and service. Staff are horrible, layout of the hotel is horrible. All the free services they promote are not available. Concierge never picks up their phones. If you are going on a vacation do not stay there… it will be a big mistake. Grand Oasis Cancun should stop stealing peoples money.

Horrible food, dirty warm water in pools, drinks in reusable cups, ugly/old rooms. Drugs are sold everywhere on the resort. Was offered cocaine while I was with my child. I speak Spanish and heard two men speaking about wanting to steal my purse. The elevators are slow and never comes. Takes at least ten minutes. It is hot in the lobby and elevator. NO ONE helps you and they don’t care about you. You ask for help and they look at you like you are stupid. Cried when I came because everyone here was so rude. Wedding was nothing that I chose. Spent two hours making a playlist and picking songs for the first dance and so on and they did not play them. We chose a restaurant for our wedding and we didn’t go to the one we chose. They gave us food we didn’t choose that no one wanted to eat. Told them our allergies and they still put them in the food and got mad when we told them to change it. Worst service ever. Do not come here.

The worst hotel I ever stayed! The customer service is absolutely disgusting! Starting from waiters who touch food with their hands without gloves and ending with the managers who respecting only their Mexicans guests! I’ll never come back here and will not recommend anybody stay here!
If you don’t have the black wristbands with the highest Pyramid level you will stay at least 40min to eat buffet’s trash food. They don’t respect guests and treat you according to the color of your wristband.

The service was terrible, the food was terrible, and I was all but ignored because I didn't speak Spanish. If money wasn't involved the staff wouldn't pay me any mind. Everything was supposed to be all inclusive, but the hotel told me the fridge is only restocked once a day… however they took hours to come and clean our room and still forgot to restock the fridge. All drinks I ordered was warm and no one seemed to believe in ice! Tips are mandatory when ordering room service and calling for that is ridiculous because its one line shared through 5 other hotels… hell they're menu was even a lie. I asked for chocolate cake because it was on the menu and they told me they didn't have any… then just make some because its your job. The everything about this so called "resort" is a lie! This was my first trip out of the country and my last to Mexico. There extremely overpriced and underwhelming. America has better treatment, food, and hospitality.

Great shows and lots to do, spotty customer service at majority of daily "basic" things. This may be partly due to language barrier but partially because they don't care. Hard to be tended to if you don't speak Spanish or don't have tip money visible. Room got restocked once for the week we were there. Friends we traveled with had a broken air conditioner all week. Aside from these things, we had a great time because we were with good people and there is lots to do. The events we chose to do were fun. There were lots of free entertainment. Pool was warm but we attended in summer time so that was to be expected. Be polite but assertive, other wise while you're waiting in line other people will get served before you.

GO AT YOUR OWN RISK! Our room access to our room was delayed over an hour. Once we got our room, there were bags and bags of garbage right in front of the door. I took pictures but couldn't attach them to this review as Proof. Also it smells like they are trying to cover up some smell because the place smells like incense. Service was even worse. Good luck trying to find a place to eat. Restaurants were closed during lunch and dinner hours even though fliers said they were open. run from this place!

Believe the reviews. If you want Wi-Fi you must pay for it $10 for 1 day or $25 for 5 days and you also have to pay $8 a day if you would like to use the safe, but don't expect anything nice. Had to call maintenance at least twice a day of our 5 day trip to plunge the toilet (asked if we could just keep it and they said no). House cleaning doesn't really clean your room, just make your bed and replace towels. After being out all day I came back to my room around 3pm to find my room untouched, had to call housecleaning 3 times just to watch her make my bed, she did not sweep, mop, and forget to take out one of the trash cans. They wont restock your refrigerator either. The restaurants that are included for Lite guests are horrible, I see why people said they lost weight while staying here. I barely ate myself. The beach view however is amazing and the rooms are nice despite the daily toilet issues. If you've never been to Mexico then I recommend for a beginner but if you are a frequent traveler then expect to be disappointed.

30-40 minutes from downtown Cancun, every day bring DEGPI towels, service in bars leaves a little to be desired, staff obnoxious and incompetent.

Couldn't pay me to go back This resort is a scam. Absolutely nothing good to say about this place. I got charged for water ffs. Its not an all inclusive resort at all. I've been to several different resorts before this and this has to be hands down the worst place I ever visited. You cant get drinks anywhere past 6, food finishes at "10" but really the restaurants don't let you in after 9. They have some "tier" resort system, and if you're not in the pyramid or have a black band you can't use the beach bar or go to about 30% of the restaurants which are obviously the better ones. If you're part of the grand elite. Just good luck getting any food or drinks there.

I don't recommend it. It is the first time I come to Cancun and I expected much more from the hotel. Supposedly advertised as a resort, but that's only the size. The attention of the staff most of the time deficient and slow, the food the big bad majority. Very poor quality drinks, only in 1 bar handle acceptable quality. Facilities in good condition but in the restaurants and common areas lack cleanliness. The room was good, only the air conditioner didn't cool down enough. I stayed three nights here and the truth did not return. Surely there will be hotels with better quality in food, drinks and attention. I don't recommend it to anyone.

It was supposed to be a 5 star hotel. The service was not great. At the bar we could wait a good 15-20 minutes for a drink. We tried all the bars in the hotel to get the same service. The beach was super nice and the hotel was directly above it. I thought it was too big a place. It looks like the bigger it is, the less service there. It's expensive, I'm disappointed. The food was good.

The Honest ugly hotel. What I did not like was that it is so huge and has few entrances and exits access. Elevators don't always work. Not the restaurants either. It's just one that works all the time. So we had to line up all the time. We do not live the family experience as we wanted. There was a lot of spring braker. The food was not varied and of average quality. So much noise at night. I don't get a good taste in my mouth.

The price was incredibly cheap, and the grounds and pool are awesome. The hotel room was beautiful, but the ceiling leaked and we had to call and ask multiple times a day every day for them to restock the water and beer (6 water bottles and 2 beers total for all 3 people). Every time they'd say yeah OK ten minutes, but then it would never come and thirty minutes later we'd call again and it's the same thing over and over again. I asked if they'd give us more water and they said no, after 6 (2 per person per day) we'd have to buy them. We said that's fine, send them, and even those never came. So frustrating!

I stayed at Grand Oasis Cancun for 7 days. The drive from the airport to the resort was short. Upon arrival at the report we were greeted by the reception and luggage helpers. The facility is okay, neat and well organized. Food at the resort is good but not amazing. The resort does seem a little understaffed especially at the check in and check out counters. Bars are a little harder to find than at other resorts. Overall, the resort was okay and our stay was good.

It doesn't deserve any kind of qualification. I left the Hotel on Tuesday, March 16th. A disaster! Attention, service, food and drink sucks! I'm not coming back! I don't even recommend it! I was wrong with a lot of people!

Very bad experience staying at this hotel. They have three hotels together in which they discriminate against the use of the facilities. Not worth the hotel or the food. Bad attitude of half the staff but there are others that if they strive to give good service to the customers. The beach is good and the facilities common. The rooms poor and the air conditioning system very old and low efficiency. We had to change rooms twice.

I spent 4 days in this spring in 2014 during the Joomla World Conference and, off season, this complex was perfect: few people, little noise, a staff available…

Very good concept lack of personal dance floor too small for the number of people.

Great Resort for people between 20-30. Lots of umiversity students and young professionals looking to have a wild time. Also first resort I have been to that had 15 restaurants with the steak house being the best. Brazilian steakhouse on vacation. One complaint I had was the lack of bars around the main areas. It was always a long walk to get alcohol and almost all the bars except for one closed relatively early which made getting drinks past dinner difficult. Overall, the staff were pleasant, great tasting food for all inclusive. And the rooms and grounds were very clean with staff continually cleaning throughout the day.

Good resort but they seem to nickle and dime you on quite a bit of amenities. Some of the rooms are quite lackluster whilst others are renovated and nice. GREAT nighttime shows. Hardworking and agreeable staff. Plenty of restaurants. Complicated wristband system. Food was on average very good. Fantastic beach area.

Grand Oasis Cancun is a great place to stay if you're looking to party and drink. Food isn't amazing but they have specialty restaurants you can choose from (sushi, Mexican, Italian, steak/beef/chicken). One restaurant called Joy's is open until 6am with all you can eat burgers and wings. My only issue with this resort is that the bars/clubs inside the resort shut down at 1am, which I think is too early. Otherwise, great all around experience with beautiful views.

One of my friends got roofied by one of the bartenders in the casino. Would not recommend anyone to come here, especially college students. Terrible service, "all inclusive" is a lie. Bartenders don't serve you unless you tip them first. The food was TERRIBLE, it was basically dog food. Took a long time to check in, we were given the wrong keys initially. They gave out towel cards, even though our room was given towels every day. It was a scam, if you didn't return them you were charged $55! No need for them they just knew people would lose them. Nothing good about this place.

Absolute worst place in the world staff here are so rude! Can’t eat at half the places here or get good drinks just nasty skunk beer! Scammed me $60 for a wristband that covered me for $80 if I broke anything. Rooms weren’t clean horrible experience. Sheets had stains. The whole place smells bad! We all lost weight because the food was terrible! Beach was not clean at all just never come here! Had to pay for bottled water. Also got robbed in our room while we were sleeping…

I am not a complainer and we are usually pretty easy going travelers… but this resort is SO NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY! Especially in March! It took over a hour to check in and we were 3rd in line. I don’t know why it took so long it was totally ridiculous. The hallways walking to the room are dark and I did not feel safe having my 13 yr old kids walking in them alone. The rooms are nothing like what are shown in the pictures on the site. The rooms are rundown, paint peeling and just plain ugly. Even our kids said they were “ghetto”. We booked as a family because it came up under family friendly. We were put in a adjoining room with a bunch of loud kids partying. When we asked to be moved they said we couldn’t be guaranteed any room would be any different. Which during spring break is understandable I suppose. I think they should definitely get put on the site NOT to book here anytime in March unless you are there to shake your a** and party. The only good thing I can say about grand oasis is Marco. I talked to Marco and he immediately was helpful and got us moved to the sister hotel grand oasis palms. Much more kid friendly, beautiful nice calm water and beach but still fun and entertaining for all ages. That’s it that’s my rant, sorry for going on and on it if this makes another family avoid the shitshow we had Togo through for the first hours of our vacation I hope it helps. T.

Bad experience for your value and your 4* and a half. The firms do not have little variety and the restaurants that are entered by waiting list give very small amounts, are filled at least one hour before the closing time and can no longer be entered so you must end up eating at the firm which is not good. Customer service mostly of your workers seems not to be a priority. You come in and manage on your own. Definitely I would not go again, the place is nice but not the attention. For that money you will find better places.

I loved the hotel. Very nice facilities, restaurants with very rich and varied food. Very good beer and drinks; and the beach of this hotel was the most beautiful and clean we found as we walked from the beach dolphins to our hotel all over the beach and we were able to check it out. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The shows and shows they do make a different atmosphere.
I highly recommend it.

Beautiful establishment, it is important to understand the relationship between all the Oasis. In my experience, the vast majority of these establishments are gathered in one place except the one specializing in spa and relaxation with a name escaping me.
The on-board catering offers included in the package we had selected was very complete. On the other hand, on supper time, there is usually waiting!

Beautiful beaches… no varieties of buffet. Not extra food… a lot of people leave their towel all day to book beds when they are never there. Service people really not nice. Good entertainment! Too much noise throughout the resort impossible to sleep we hear everyone screaming (book on 6th floor and still a lot of noise). Almost no bar near the beach you have to walk a lot for a drink. Good hotel for entertainment and landscapes but otherwise really not good food and service at check in so long! Take the Express check out in the machines it'll save you at least an hour! Must pay $8 a day to use a safe in the room and Wi-Fi also paid…? We had to change rooms because of the noise and our first room had no drawer. I would choose another resort to relax I am 25 years old and there are many young parties or families very numerous and bruillantes. Not really for couples.

Room can see the sea, but from time to time see small ants running in the room, the room equipment is old. Most restaurants have poor food, with only 5th Spanish-style restaurants and a few Italian-style restaurants. If you are a black belt (upgrade fee is 28 USD/person/day), you can consume all the restaurants, you may be able to eat more seafood, see their general restaurant food, it is conceivable that other restaurants are not much better.

Horrible experience. 1. Lock on room door didn't work. After three hours of indifferent service, we moved rooms. In new room, lock didn't lock, allowing anyone into our room. Took another 3 hours of indifferent service (and me getting uncharacteristically loud at guest services) to get new lock installed. 2. Bathtub/shower drain didn't work. 3. When contacting room service for more bottled water, was told it would be an extra charge… at an "all inclusive resort"! Only two bottled waters in the mini-fridge per day, even though we had four people in our room. 4. Dining options are very limited and keep very weird hours. Only breakfast options are lackluster buffets with lukewarm food. No establishment serves any liquor drink from 5-6:30pm. No option for morning cocktails anytime before 10am. Food court doesn't open until 11 am and then is PACKED because it's the only "grab and go" option. "Food court" is a liberal term as it is just a taco stand, cheeseburger stand, and chicken nugget stand. Frequent wait time is 10 minutes or more for food that should take less than 45 seconds to get. Ice cream machine shut down at 1 pm daily and was never refilled. 5. Check-in and check-out takes forever. Most automated machines don't work and staff is less than ready to help you out. 6. Staff, in general, is incredibly indifferent to your needs. No one smiles, ever… ever. The only people who even greet you are the room cleaning staff. Worst customer service I've ever witnessed.

There are always very long queues for the food. Man must wait at least 20 — 30 min, even on small snacks.

Pools and beaches were great. Food was either buffets or disappointing sit down restaurants. Overbooked as admitted by 3 different staff, people were actually being sent to a different hotel… Renovations were being done everyday which I understand but it doesn't foster relaxation to hear hammering and such at all hours of the day. I wish I could give 5 stars to the staff however, extremely friendly and helpful despite being overbooked. They did everything to help when requested! I enjoyed my vacation but I won't be returning here.

Me and my husband stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. Pros: Our room came with a deck with an absolutely amazing view of the ocean. We were able to clearly watch the sunrise and sunset everyday. The staff was pleasant and the overall landscaping and upkeep of the resort grounds were beautiful. Cons: The food, the buffet served the same food everyday and no matter if we arrived early or later it never seemed to be hot enough; and most of the other restaurants opened for a limited amount of time or not at all. As I said previously the staff were pleasant, but the housekeeping staff took their time with getting to the room each day, on two separate occasions we were out all day returning well after 4pm to find our room had still not been cleaned, resulting in us having to place a service order through the menu on the television since our telephone didn’t work.

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… First of all your called all inclusive for a reason, so stop closing your bars early so you can make more money off us by us having to buy drinks for the night. The two bartenders at kinky nightclub should get replaced asap. People are there to have a good time not to listen to your stupid rules and deal with your slow service (kinky bartenders). Usually a bell boy helps you with your luggage, takes you to your room. Didn't see that from these guys. Overall grand oasis service was horrible, beach wasn't the greatest. But the different kind of restaurants was a nice experience. Won't go back until those stupid bartenders get replaced.

A great hotel, especially child friendly. The food is excellent! Nothing to complain about, tasteful and good quality. The rooms are clean, ok, not as processed as in Germany but good. The staff is super friendly, every wish is tried to fulfill.
Those who write badly here should stay better in their own country or in their own 4 walls. We'll be back!

My brother and his friends got robbed and beaten. The hotel has absolutely nothing done and the more the caretaker and reception are in the shot! Not recommended!

Watch out! The staff steals right from the room! There's nothing to prove. There is a local drug. Circular hand. We were robbed by a graciella cleaning lady. Ang. No one knows. But the place is good so better choose another hotel.

Went for my best friend's wedding from 09/29/17 — 10/2/17. Honestly their were leaking cealings all over the place in the resort. All around the resort towels on the floor due to leaks and or buckets everywhere. I slipped multiple time but did not fall. Food was not great. Though some of the staff was friendly I was disappointed with the cleaning of my room daily. While my other friend who had the same exact package as I had staff come in the morning and at night, turn down her bed and even leave chocolates wishing a good night. I did not receive that service once. When checking out no help with luggage to get to lobby for check out. I would not come back here again.

The first and the most important is the service. The staff should be made to do their job. The air conditioning in the room is working or at maximum with motorcycle cod or No. Discos are arranged in such a way that prevent to sleep around. And I didn't impress the hotel

I was not a guest at the hotel, but we were there several times during the day during the springbreak. Daypass €75 drinks and food included.
It's there exactly how you imagine the springbreak: Beach bars, pools, alcohol without end, Ami students, party stage …
Anyone who wants to experience the Springbreak at its craziest side, MUST go there and just celebrate!

I booked a reservation to stay in the Pyramid building for the elevators since my mom suffers from severe arthritis. We were told it was booked and placed in a lower class section of the resort with stairs. My 74 year old mother slipped and fell on a wet stair case the third day. The staff was really slow to react. I had to make a scene in order for a doctor to be called. Terrible service. Didn't receive what we paid for.

The rooms large, equal that the bathroom (I have bracelet black, here is differ by color), the all inclusive is real. Is truth that is very active, although the room that we had, was quiet. I recommend walking with dollars of low denomination (1 and 5) for tip or pay bus to the Center or mall, etc. Left photo of my room. Finally, the hotel not is of 5 star, objectively, reaches in the limit to 4 star.
If you're from Chile, be careful and read well if shopping in Viajes Falabella, activities, e. G. Xcaret, the staff is little qualified and they make many mistakes (confusing name of the hotel, incredible but true).
But to collect, they are perfect.

Terrible! Will never go back! Food was terrible! Fridge didn't work, phone didn't work, toliet didn't want to flush, smoke alarm keep beeping. We complained every day about these things and they never came to fix them. Then at midnight they started playing drums outside our room. The pools were great and so was the beach, the nightly shows were awesome except they had the shows in the hotel lobby and they were hard to enjoy because it was always hot as hell in there.

The very first interaction on the resort was a foreshadowing of the entire stay. I went with a group of 7 and when arriving the greeters were rude impatient. The check in want until 3 and it took us over an hour just to check in. Also one of the people staying with me speaks Spanish and heard the staff talking about us. After we finally checked in we walked up to our updated rooms. But to get to the rooms we had to dodge the leaking ceilings and the buckets on the floor. (This is not an exaggeration). While there there was a storm, this obviously isn't the girls fault BUT… the balconies to the rooms didn't properly drain the water so all of our rooms smelled sour because of the water that seeped in from the balcony over night. Many restaurants on the resort are under staffed and run out of food quickly. There were very long waits for restaurants and when you finally get inside, there were open tables. Many of the restaurant's were closed on a daily basis and this left many trying to get into the same restaurants for dinner. There is so much more I could write but the bottom line is this is not a 5 star restaurant! Do not go here you will be extremely upset.

Bunch of crooks. Timeshare made the reservation for the room but when you get there, it's an additional "$1, 000" for "all-inclusive" perks, otherwise you cant stay there at all. So why the hell wasn't this communicated prior to making the reservation that was already paid for. And the hotel made absolutely no accommodations because they dont care about the guest, all they care about is cheating you out of additional money which they know you are going to pay because after you made the trip all the way there you have no choice. Buyer beware!

Do not stay here! There are little aunts in the bed, the staff is horrible and the water goes out everyday at some point. The staff at the front desk and concierge are rude and degrading. They will lie and tell you what you want to hear. For example the water was not working in the entire hotel for a the entire day when we called first thing they told us it would be on in 30 min. When at a restaurant and asked if they had avocado, the waiter said no and it was on the menu. Spend your money elsewhere and have a better cleaner vacation.

A good hotel! Everyone liked it)
