We were 7 days at a hotel in Playa del Carmen, and then moved on 7 days to Cancun, Oasis Cancún Lite 4*. Well, the comparison is not in favor of Lite Oasis Cancún 4*. The cheapness of this hotel Oasis Cancún Lite 4* results in a fee for the safe, for the Internet, and most importantly you feel like a second class citizen. After receiving the bracelet lilac color (and blue is not much better, it's the Grand Oasis) you explain what you can and cannot do. Only holders of the black bracelet (it's the hotel Pyramid) have all the rights and you people are second-class citizens. You can of course pay for the rest in the Pyramid, but this is completely different money. On children and pensioners, to splash in the beautiful sea does not work, waves and underwater currents are very strong. Children unattended in the sea you can not let go! And adults, rescuers pulled out almost every day. Access to the beach via a steep staircase at the bandstand, where ever screaming music and hanging out thumping youth. Found smooth descent to the beach, but it is not conveniently located in the far corner of the territory. The territory is large, beautiful, but stupid. This is my personal opinion, but pensioners and families with children do not advise, because my wife and I are retired and we have a granddaughter 9 years. And came with young children, were just in shock.
