Cheap hotels in Oaxaca

I’ve been staying at Doña Mary’s since 2016, and they always have incredible service, clean rooms, and very comfortable beds.

I totally recommend staying here! The location is perfect, the place is cozy and clean, had everything we needed and the fan was strong enough to keep us fresh at night!

Loved this place! If you like animals, nature and camping this is it. Vivianna was a great host and the rooster might let you pet him. Everything is basic and minimalistic so be prepared!

Some people leaving reviews here not looking at what they’ve booked clearly 🙄 This is a really special place with a lot of care put into it. The cabins are lovely, with mosquito nets, Wi-Fi, comfy

We loved it here! Ended up returning each time we came back to Mazunte as the vibe was just so chill. It’s perfectly clean, peaceful and great location a few mins walk from the beach.

Beautiful small hotel. Basic but very comfortable and clean rooms with good maintenance. Besides that a nice garden to relax with hammocks and chairs, to hang around.

Felt very at home here, ending up extending our stay twice!

Highly recommend staying at Huitzilini Hostel. High vibes. I met the most amazing people at the this hostel. The owners and excellent staff who will help you with anything you need.

We loved staying here! Unfortunately, on the first night we waited nearly two hours for the reception to arrive, until then, we couldn’t put our stuff in our van.

We had a great 4 nights here at Hostal Juarez. We stayed in the campervan which was a really cool experience, especially greatful it has air-conditioning!

I had a great time hanging with the owners here. Great vibe, and so helpful, thank you! The showers, toilets, pool, and everything was very well done and so comfortable for me.

Mitla is definitely worth of staying at least overnight. I ended up extending my stay for another night and would love to come back.

Finally a quiet hotel! AC, Good beds and helpful staff.

We had a great 4 nights at Casa Laud! Our hosts Irma and Oscar were truly sweethearts! Her home cooking was always on point and fresh! The rooms were clean and bright with a beautiful 180 ocean view.

This was the friendliest stay I had on my Mexico trip so far. The host is a genuinely lovely person that helps you wherever he can.

A hidden gem! Chacahua is a beautiful little town that's far superior to he crowds of Puerto Escondido.

We were so happy that this happened to be one of the only places I could book online.

Enjoyed my stay. Great location and cozy place with everything you need. Just don't let the cat in your room unless you want fleas. Lol.

Me and my partner had such a lovely stay. The host were so friendly, relaxed and attentive. So close to La Punta, very very clean.

Perfect location. Rooms clean and appreciated the curtain and individual for privacy. Kitchen and workspace were great and Starlink Wi-Fi. Ana, the owner was super helpful and attentive.

Maracuya has excellent facilities such as free wi fi,
Full shared kitchen, clean bathrooms and showers, the owner.

Beautiful location, the view of Oaxaca is stunning!

The place is situated a little outside of the centre but within walking distance (5-7 minutes), but oh my — for that you get an exceptional view!

I was so happy to discover this new bouldering gym in Centro Oaxaca! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I went here a few times a week for the four weeks I was in Oaxaca.

Amazing climbing gym with affordable day passes! I really enjoyed the climbs here, although I found the grades to be a little generous. The gym is very spacious with a good amount of climbs.

Hostel Casa del Angel was great 🇲🇽💚🤍❤️
Our room was super clean, spacious and cleaned daily upon our request.

Was such a good experience staying here. The pool is fantastic, the kitchen is big and open and a space where you can interact with other guests.

Good place for a couple nights at the beginning of a trip. Water was intermittent though would get nice and hot. Comfortable beds.

Little germ in Mazunte,
This is a great place to stay when in Mazunte.

We had a great stay overall. The hotel is very close to the airport, which made our travel plans much easier.
