Cheap Hotels in Oaxaca

One of my favourite spots we’ve stayed at in our entire 4 month trip. The place is beautiful and quiet despite being in a really central location of Zipolite.

It’s the second year that we stay at Marea Viva and we honestly couldn’t ask for anything better! The location, the room, the facilities as shower / toilet / drinking water are great!

Good hotel quality with hostal price. The room is thoroughly clean and the place feels very safe and spacious.

* Helpful with arranging a taxi to the airport.
* On the occasions when staff were helpful, they were extremely helpful and kind.
* Good price.
* Convenient location.
* Very clean.

I had a great time staying there. I enjoyed the hostel: not too far from everything, late check out, the locker to stock my belongings, the different art pieces on the wall, etc.

Amazing place, so close to bus station 20m. Very close to the center, or kind of in it actually. Great rooms and terasse.

Spacious and comfortable rooms.
And very well located. A few steps from the central park.
And very good service.

Very nice hotel and has parking that we thought I didn't have sleep comfortably I liked.

This hotel is closed to everything (Playa manzanillo, angelito, Carrizalillo) and many restaurants. I had a really pleasant experience and staff were very friendly.

We had a great stay here. The room was big, comfortable, and clean. There was a lovely shared bathroom with a great shower. The AC worked perfectly. It’s a 10 min walk from some lovely beaches.

Very nice hotel for a perfect price near the beach and near big Chedraui. For good street food you have to walk about 10 minutes direction Zócalo. The staff at the reception was friendly and helpful.

Extended my stay here! Very cute little hostel, chill vibe and very communicative and open volunteers.

My stay here was amazing! It was already the second time I am here. The beds with curtains are so comfy and also the kitchen is great and newly equipped.

Great stay, cannot recommend more 🙌🏽 Rooms are lovely with great comfort, including spacious lockers that even have a little light which is perfect to not annoy everyone at night.

The staff was great. Helped me after my checkout as my flight wasn't leaving until later in the night. The balcony is a great addition to the hostel with yoga mats and nice shading.

One of my favorite hostels ever! The owner is so welcoming, passionate about Oaxaca and happy to share his knowledge.

This hostel is great. Very social hostel and everyone is nice from stuff to volunteers. They offer so many cool trips and make sure to check out the food tour.

The top/"penthouse" room was very nice with great views over the town and the sea.
Nice balcony with a comfortable hammock. Spacious room, large comfortable bed and a fridge.

We only stayed one night, but our stay was magnificent. Bastian and Karyna are excellent hosts. We were shown the penthouse room which enjoys a wonderful breeze.

Place very well located, clean, economical and very quiet. I highly recommend it.

El Eden escondido is an oasis just away from the main action. In 5 minutes walking to the centre you have everything you need.

This is my favorite place to stay when I come to Puerto and want to relax. I've stayed here a few times and have recommended it to friends as well.

This is a hidden gem, especially for the price! There is a large fenced in garden which is beautiful thanks to the grounds keeper, Josefina, who is also the manager and housekeeper.

This is a very cute and charismatic hotel in the most ideal location. Love the rooftop patio with a spectacular view of the city and mountains.

Clean and pretty new rooms with TV, own bathroom and hot showers. Wi-Fi in the rooms is okay.

Absolutely loved it here. Loved it so much I extended my stay. It is very clean and comfortable (they clean your room everyday with fresh towels) close to the center yet away from the noise.

Staff are lovely. The hostel was in a perfect location, walking distance to everything in Centro. We stayed in Room 1 which had doors that let lots of natural light in which was really nice.

Simple, basic backpacker hostal in a fantastic location, on hill overlooking a lovely beach. Lovely spot for enjoying sunsets with a great value cold beer in your hand.

This place is super chill. Amazing views of the sunset. Very nice staff and good vibes. Super close to playa carazallilo.

I had a private room which was really nice — a quiet space. The mattress was too firm for my taste. Clean bathroom, very nice outdoor seating areas. I felt I could be as social or quiet as I wanted.

This was such a great place. Very kind people. Clean and organized. Good price. Close to center. Quiet and safe neighborhood. I highly recommend!
