We booked two rooms here for our family of four and both were disappointing. There were so many things wrong with the rooms. Things like:
— wet carpet.
— single doona only for queen and king beds.
— rooms far too hot (no control over heating) with only tiny openings in the windows so couldn't cool them down. It was so hot (in April) that it was hard to sleep.
— holes in the floor under carpet.
— no curtains — and looking onto a freeway so cars can see straight in and it's really hot in the room but you still need to cover up since you're exposed.
— big mold like patches in the shower base. I don't think it was mold but looked really bad so was hard to use.
— lots of areas need fixing/re-painting, etc.
— internet very patchy.
— no elevator.
— permanently wet carpet in one area.
— little soundproofing. We could hear everything in neighbouring rooms as well as traffic outside.
We stay in a lot of hotels and generally never have a bad experience. This was bad.
I wish I had read these reviews instead of the ones on booking. Com which must have been planted as they just aren't true.
To make it worse after our stay, the reported to booking that we never showed up. I'm guessing they were trying to charge us again + get our review removed. I guess this is how they end up with good reviews on there. Write them themselves plus get the bad ones removed by trying to pretend the people didn't stay. I wish we didn't stay.
