Suzukiya Ryokan is a great traditional style hotel. It’s a great place to stay if you’re planning to visit the fox village.
The staff are friendly and super professional.

This is a very simple, spacious, and accommodating hotel that has a very delicious breakfast!

Very well located, clean bed and overall good atmosphère. Enjoyable bath with a view on the mountains.

I used it at a day trip hot spring.
Previously, Mr. Himura and Mr. Toma Ikuta came on a TV program.

Good sized room with 2 lounges. Front desk were polite and room also included free breakfast at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast options were a mixed buffet of both Japanese and Western dishes.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Previously, we stayed at their Gunma location. As always, our experience was very nice, and we are fully satisfied with HOTEL R9 The Yard.

I arrive late at night. The host is very friendly and responds quickly by phone. The room and breakfast is awesome. Thank you for having me.

Really nice big hostel, with private parking and really great location.
Short walk to the lake and also not too far from Oirase Gorge for a day of walking along the river.

Nothing to complain. Love the libraly cafe, a space you can sit relax or kill some time while waiting for your next adventure. The coffee, afternoon tea selection and morning breakfast was great too.

Very cool retro hotel! Great breakfast and beautiful garden area. Walkable to center of Hachinohe where there are lots of good restaurants and cool little bars. Go check it out!

Probably one of the best choices when you stay at Hanamaki. The hotel is decently equipped for leisure stay and well decorated (with a little interesting corner dedicated to Kenji Miyazawa).

It’s perfect location to explore Geibikei gorge and Hiraizumi. Staff are warm and welcoming. Room is cosy with bathtub to soak away a tiring day with a separate toilet.

One of the best ryokans I’ve ever stayed. The bathrooms are private. The water is 100% natural hot spring without circulation. The inflow of water is huge. There is no smell. Slightly salty.

It’s worth the price. Specially if you stay as a family a budget hotel like this goes a long way. You can select between smoking and non smoking rooms. You get access to in house onsen as well.

I stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very modern and clean. But the best part is the wonderful staff! They were so kind and helpful.

The Ryokan room was very impressive! It was huge and not even at home we have a bed that large! You also have a wooden bathtub on the balcony with perfect view of the river.

One of my favorite places I have stayed in Japan. Traditional Ryokan with natural water Onsen. The people are the very best part. So friendly and good conversation. Breakfast was delicious.

This was the only onsen in the area that I could find that allowed me to day bathe. It cost ¥700 to use the onsen and the staff was extremely friendly!

Good onsen hotel. I opted for a stay that included zero meals and wanted to mainly enjoy the onsen.

I've wanted to go here for years and it was well worth the experience! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious but still had a Japanese style!

We had an outstanding stay at Saryo Soen in Sendai. The entire staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our room was exceptional, beautifully kept and very comfortable.

We spent one night here enjoying our holiday.

Solid Budget Stay in Akita – Good Value for One Night.
Stayed one night at this hotel in Akita and it delivered exactly what I expected for the low price. Nothing fancy, but perfectly acceptable.
