The venue of the guest house is excellent, just 1-minute walk from bus station 'Santuanpeki, which is 30 minute bus from JR station (JPY480).

Great kitchen. Private rooms were available. Hoat was happy to help with forwarding luggage tp our next stop.

My husband, daughter & I stayed here when we came to visit Wayakama and the Kii Peninsula. It's extremely clean, bright, and cheery. Looks like it's all newly appointed or renovated.

Well equipped hostel for light weight travelers. The room is very cozy and nicely separated giving everyone their own enclosed personal space.

A wonderful place to stay after finishing the Kumano Kodo.
Rooms are compact but clean and well organised! Bathrooms and toilets also clean. Check in was swift and easy.

Browsing through photos taken more than 10 years ago, guesthouse owner is friendly n thoughtful. He placed two warmer under our blanket during the chilly winter weather.

This is a small but lovely and peachfull hostel. I feel like home here and Kojisan is very kind and friendly. He speak English very well and really willing to help me everything.

I recently stayed at Guest Living MU Nanki Shirahama and had a delightful experience. 🏖️ The location is fantastic—just a short walk to Shirarahama Beach, making it perfect for beach lovers.

Very big rooms, unfortunately the entrance is up two flights of stairs.

This hostel is incredible for the price. 3 private onsens available and the accommodation is impeccable. Porridge is provided in the mornings and bedding also.

This is a convenient hostel in Yunomine Onsen. The staff are helpful and gave us valuable recommendations for the pilgrimage.
The establishment has got three baths with onsen water.

Very lovely and friendly owners (the couple), excellent breakfast which includes a rich, nutritious Teishoku though breakfast menu shifts everyday.

Conveniently located small clean accommodation with bathroom situated close to Hashimoto railway station with trains to Kyosan. Friendly couple managing. May need to book in advance.

I absolutely love this hostel, though I would never call it a hostel. I've stayed in far less comfortable ryokans. The room was huge and very comfortable, absolutely spotless.

Hiroko and Kazu (the owners) are amazing people who were very kind and helpful. Hiroko even picked me up from the train station!

Easy check-in and good location. Good value for the price, don’t expect something fancy though! Real bed (not Japanese style), heater, fridge, sharing bathroom.

I was lucky to be the only one in the female dormitory for the 2 nights I stayed. The bathroom/showerroom were very clean and the bed was good. There is a little kitchen for the necessities.

Location is good (10min from station/ main bus station, 10-15min for attractions — the three shrines, 3min to bus station)
Budget friendly options! Good for backpacker doing the Kumano Kudo!

Yoshi is an excellent host, the hostels location is good, a short walk away from both the train and bus station.
