Bunk beds were a little bit small and rattley but it’s a hostel so what can you expect, everything else was perfect tho really good and new showers, bathrooms and toilets, downstairs area was also so

Great hostel. Very chill atmosphere. The highlight for me was the little birdy Kintaro. The service was fantastic aswell. Location is close to whatever you need in Wakayama. I would come again.

The room was bigger than expected and very clean. Everything we needed was provided, and they even thoughtfully prepared earplugs.

My wife and I were surprised by the sweet gesture during our stay. It was our honeymoon trip around Wakayama, the hotel was really a cozy, rooms were clean and spacious for Japanese standard.

The hostess is so nice and considerate that my family passed a great time here. We love the clean environment and warm decorations.

The location is just a stone's throw away from the train station. You can also walk towards the port and to the various restaurants located around it. The room was lovely and comfortable.

I’ve stayed here for a week and I think this is the best business hotel in the area because it’s probably the newest one. Everything’s very clean and the service is lovely!

Close to station. New build. We had rooms on the 13th floor. Great view over the city. Used the Onsen. It is really nice. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. It is close to the JR station.

The orange exterior is easily recognizable even from a distance. Good access to Adventure World and the expressway. The meals are well balanced, tasty and satisfying.

The indoor hot springs are fed directly from the source and are very pleasant. The large public baths are swapped between men and women, so the larger ones have a more open feel.

Great capsule hotel, close to the train station (Granvia Hotel's 6th floor) and pretty luxious with TV etc, especially for the price.

Superb location, a convenient place to stay. There are shopping mall downstairs and is connected to the train station. Easy to locate.
The staff is friendly, patient and helpful.

The venue of the guest house is excellent, just 1-minute walk from bus station 'Santuanpeki, which is 30 minute bus from JR station (JPY480).

Great kitchen. Private rooms were available. Hoat was happy to help with forwarding luggage tp our next stop.

I would recommend this place for everyone visiting Koyasan, it was a pleasant stay for me and my family for 2 nights. The place is really tidy and clean.

Koyasan and Guest House Kokuu was recommended by a friend as a 'side trip' during our visit to Osaka, it turned out to be one of the most memorable highlights of our entire Japan trip.

My stay at Lacoma was very pleasant. After continuously visiting so many different places on my trip from Tokyo to Kyoto to Osaka and Nara, I needed a slower pace and Lacoma stay was perfectly that.

It was a miracle this place had an available room late at night because I could not enter my campsite after 7pm. The hostess welcomed me personally and was extremely helpful despite my late arrival.

The owner is very nice, and we communicate through a translation app. She is very helpful and even helped me when I needed luggage delivery service to Katsuura.

Well equipped hostel for light weight travelers. The room is very cozy and nicely separated giving everyone their own enclosed personal space.

It was a fantastic stay at Assobo. They were very responsive. The place was spotlessly clean with everything you could need.

What a great experience! The hotel is in a quiet, beautiful location with plenty of nature to explore nearby—perfect for relaxing or hiking. The free shuttle from the train station was a big plus.

Nice hotel with amazing Onsen (indoor and outdoor) and a great dinner buffet. I enjoyed the nice view from my room, especially the sun rise was amazing (I stayed there mid April).

The location is excellent 5 mins away from train station the owner runs a restaurant downstairs very convenient as well basic ¥2900 per night very affordable.

I spent almost 2 weeks in this guesthouse. A place to relax, enjoy and feel the japanese vibe in a beautiful japanese town.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It’s a simple old Japanese style house, turned guesthouse. It was a quite and comfortable stay — with everything you needed.

Browsing through photos taken more than 10 years ago, guesthouse owner is friendly n thoughtful. He placed two warmer under our blanket during the chilly winter weather.

This is a small but lovely and peachfull hostel. I feel like home here and Kojisan is very kind and friendly. He speak English very well and really willing to help me everything.

This place is amazing. If you visit Shirahama go and stay at least one night. The Indian food is amazing, the hosts are amazing.

The toilet was interesting, and the room was really good. Highly recommend. The host was really kawaii and omoshiroi.

If you are looking for a place to rest after hiking all day and near the train station this is a perfect spot.
