Hotels in Nara with Breakfast

Mercure Nara Kashihara was the perfect choice as we needed a tranquil, easy place to navigate as an older couple.
Mercure Nara Kashihara is located very close to the Railway Junction.

Kashihara is a small town that is quiet and peaceful, but this hotel is superb! They have excellent breakfast spread of both Japanese and western food.

I stayed at Super Hotel JR Nara Ekimae from 4/1/2025 to 4/6/2025. Please don't be confused with the Super Hotel Premier which was adjacent to The Nara Station.

It’s my go to hotel when visit Nara, front desk staff speaks English well & can store luggages before check in. It’s clean & feels like home away from home, minimalist room but efficient & practical.

Our stay was truly excellent. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful from the very first moment. They made us feel welcome and were always available to assist with anything we needed.

Lovely ryokan with very friendly staff conversant in English.
We had a wonderful time here, and enjoyed the private onsen (the public baths are free but you can reserve the private onsen for a fee).

I stayed here for the Nara Marathon.
I was visiting by private car on a road trip from the Koshinetsu region, so I chose this place because there was a parking lot near the station.

I made a reservation for sightseeing in Nara. The location is also perfect. With breakfast included, the room is clean and comfortable for this price.

Design savvy modern hotel with tatami style rooms. Check in took sometime. Service was decent.

Superb service, among the best I've ever had at a hotel. Generous check-in and check-out policies with respect to luggage and even offering to carry it up the stairs for you.

I now live in Japan and have stayed at this hotel a few times in the past few years. I even stayed here 20 years earlier when I was visiting Japan. The room rate has been very good.

Easy to navigate to. Very friendly, welcoming staff on arrival. Room is clean and tidy. Bathroom likewise but feels a little tired.
Friend tried to hot baths but reported that it wasn't very hot.

Traditional Ryoken with traditional dinner & breakfast, which were an amazing experience. Book a free shuttle from the train station beforehand. They went above & beyond to treat us amazing.

This was the single greatest hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The dinner and breakfast were world class. The in room bath and public bath’s were whimsical and relaxing.

We stayed here for 3 nights while exploring both Kyoto and Nara. We wanted somewhere away from the throngs of people and this place delivered.

Very relaxing and enjoyable stay despite the last minute booking, and cyclist friendly is another plus.

The food was good and the people friendly.
It was quite isolated, shared bathrooms with shower on a different floor and the pillow pretty challenging for anyone used to a soft pillow.

Only stayed for one night, but still was an amazing experience. While the hotel interior might remind you of something from classic horror film The Shining, it was such a cozy atmosphere.

After staying in some lovely and very different sorts of accommodation already in Japan, Allamanda Nara is our favourite so far.

I used it for a day trip bath. Although it was a holiday, I was able to take my time. The facility itself looks old, but the interior is kept clean and I have no complaints.

I don’t know what to say with stupid tourists people gave 1-2 stars reviews just because here’s had no public transport how come you don’t check the location before you book hotel?

Hotel fine. My gosh, I didn't expect much from a love hotel but you've absolutely exceeded our expectations. Cheap in room beverages, loads of complimentary items and very polite service.

Did not sleep at the hotel, but ate at the hotel restaurant. The sukiyaki we tried was good and tasty. Ice cream for dessert was OK. Service was courteous, spoke some basic English and tried to help.

Good clean hotel, nice room, nice staff. Free breakfast in lobby. Great stay overall.

My only disappointment was the fact that they clean your room after 3 days. It's a calm, near and affordable place to stay. There's only japanese 🍙 served as breakfast. I prefer western style buffet 😢

Stayed in December. Situated close to local station and there’s a great public bath minutes away, which the owner will recommend when you arrive.

Relaxing and rustic hot springs in a beautiful setting, right on the Totsukawa River. The staff was very attentive and the meals were extravagant, sumptuous, and beautifully presented.

This was my first visit. The place seems to preserve its original tradition, which is commendable.

Super value for money. Complete basic amenities. Room is clean, except for the aircon vent, but I really don't mind. The lady staff who checked me in was very polite and can speak English.

Typical of Japanese business hotels, it's clean, small but functional and a little musty. My room has a window that opens which helped with ventilation.
