We're able to accommodate us on VERY short notice due to a change of plans and we're very polite about us arriving at 11:30pm. Was tidy, clean and had good rooms.

Convenient stay at Blue Ridge Hotel, front desk staff hospitality is one of the best I’ve received despite the language barrier.
Amenities are slim but what they do have is top notch.

Small hotel along coastal area of awaji, this along with 2 other sister hotels which we can visit make up the main attraction here.

Level of service and care given to details and our comfort given by staff were tremendous! It felt like we were waited on hand and foot by them duration of our stay.

My daughter and I both thought this hotel was great. The only downside was that you had to make a reservation in advance for the top-floor restaurant on weekends or holidays.

Has one or few staffs that could speak English but the service was top class. Felt spoiled, and seemed truly traditional Japanese ryokan service as well as food.

The interior of this hotel is beautiful, complemented by a beautiful garden that you can walk out to the beach and get a nice view of the sea.

This place is amazing. Perfect accommodations. Western and Japanese rooms. Incredibly kind and helpful staff. Great view of the castle ruins at night from most of the rooms!

Wonderful little inn situated above a cafe which serves a terrific breakfast set for less then 1, 000 yen close to the train station. Well-appointed rooms quiet and relaxing. Excellent staff.

Wow! This place is fantastic!
I was very happy with everything. The hotel is located right next to a beautiful blue sea and a nice sandy beach.

We walked in without reservation as we arrived by sailboat from Kansai and didnt find any rooms available in most hotels nearby. We were accommodated by the hotel which was nice.

The room was very clean, and the garden had a lovely atmosphere and was well-maintained. The staff’s hospitality was excellent, and the meals were thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.

We stayed at Motoyu Ryuusenkaku and had a truly wonderful experience. The view was beautiful and the onsen was absolutely amazing — it gave us such a refreshing and relaxing feeling.

We had such an amazing time at Wellis Villa Awaji! The villa is beautiful—mixing old-school Japanese charm with all the modern comforts you could want.

Initial intended hotel was not suitable for a family of 5, and I found Grand Mercure Awaji Island that has room to fit everyone — thank goodness!

It was very nice, and the seaside location is great! We went during a special event week so we got to see a short awa odori performance!

The room was so comfortable, and we really enjoyed spending time at the hotel. The view from our room on the second floor was unforgettable. Easy access by car, and the breakfast was delicious!

As we were tourists seeking the authentic ryokan experience, the Kobe Minato Onsen Ren was perfect.

Just cross the bridge over Takeno River to the west side along the coast on route 11, there is a nice hotel facility camping called Holiday Village of Takeno Coast & Takeno Coastal Camping Ground

I recently stayed at this newly remodeled hotel as a family of four. It was just opened December 2025 and everything is fresh and clean.
The front desk service was really great. Very accommodating.
