We visited Arima Onsen for a special family trip with our child who uses a wheelchair, and we had been looking forward to enjoying the hot springs together.
Hotel was very luxurious and lovely.
Amazing views and nice baths. Lovely garden.
We travelled as a group of 8.

This is a wonderful traditional onsen hotel with upgraded facilities. The staff are kind and very helpful. The kaiseki dinner is delicious and Juu our server is attentive and kind.
Our group of three spent two nights at this ryokan. These two nights were a high point of our two weeks in Japan.
Truly top class, a really fine establishment that I would put alongside the best 5-star hotel brands, probably even better.

Excellent onsen hotel! despite its difficult location, they provide shuttle service probably from anywhere around arima station (but you gotta have a JP phone number and you speak japanese).
A bit pricey but the food, service and the private onsen was the best.

One star short of a perfect 5 for two reasons:
(1) Hotel is hardly full, but choses to strictly adhere to its 3pm check-in policy despite us arriving at 1pm.
I wish there were more than 5 stars. We had our wedding photos and celebrations at the hotel on Christmas Eve and we are an international couple with the Japanese family.
One of the best hotel experiences. The entire staff was extremely friendly — they greeted everyone, even in passing.
I wish I could give 5 stars but I just find the price which is double of another accomodation in the heart of the town, yet no dinner included and no welcome drinks/lounge, to be quite a steal.
Absolutely worth every yen. Kinosaki Riverside Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip.
This was our big finale (a 2 night stay in kinosake onsen), and this hotel just wasn't our favorite.

We stayed for two nights and we loved it. The service and friendliness of the staff is spot on. The view of the sea is amazing and the location is great for seeing the area.
Stayed 2 nights — spontaneous booking and so happy with this hotel. It has a 1980s romance — japan heydey — see bill Clinton photo 1988, but the highlight the French degustation and wine pairing.

Enjoyed my stay here. I forgot to take a picture of the amazing ocean views during the day because I was too busy enjoying them myself.
Upon checking the stuff we're very helpful.
Hotel has an feeling of old grandeur. Really enjoyed staying here and hope to experience it again in the future.
Views from all directions of the hotel are beautiful.
Fabulous hotel with wonderfully expansive rooms, each as far as I'm aware with a balcony. Wonderful views from the room, we chose the side with the big wheel & at night its a great light show.

I stayed in the executive floor, and this hotel is not fancy but met my expectations. The room was neat and clean with the working desk. Breakfast was good.
If you have business in the Nishi Ward of Kobe City, I think this hotel is quite convenient. The room was clean, but you can definitely feel its age in places.
I went to a hot spring for a day.
A wonderful bath with a view of Naruto Ohashi Bridge. The outdoor bath is like an infinity pool and feels really nice. The jacuzzi was also good.
The facility was clean and large, and the staff were kind and friendly.
I stayed here while traveling from Awaji Island to Shodoshima. I don't have any other vacation villages and I've been to a lot of them, so I think it's about the same.

Stayed for one night at the end of our group tour to Japan. After experiencing a lot of tiny hotel rooms it was a pleasure to finish in such nice surroundings. My room was spacious modern and clean.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel!
One of the best features is how conveniently it's connected to the station, making it perfect for anyone traveling by train.
Beautiful view, day or night, and fresh local produce and ingredients!
Can’t commend on the quality of the ryokan since we haven’t had the luck to stay there yet.
Our stay here was outstandingly enjoyable from beginning to end. We were warmly welcomed like old friends on arrival at this beautiful property.
Great experience at nishimuraya honkan. Staff were professional and catered to all our needs with a welcoming feel. It made us feel very comfortable and relaxed during our stay.
First time I stayed at this hotel was Nov 2024 it was still Wing International Hotel. It was good bcs so close to train station.
I can't recommend this place enough, the level of amenities provided is absolutely forest rate, as is the service and location with a huge number of shops and restaurants nearby and the station just
This place is flawless. The service is excellent, the location is perfect and I can't believe how many amenities they have crammed into a single room.

We have stayed in the old part two times now and even thought it is not the most modern.

I stayed here as a Titanium member in February 2026. The location on Rokko Island isn't the most convenient since you need to take the Rokko Liner, but this hotel is a hidden gem.
A very modern, fancy and comfortable hotel in Kobe. The rooms were very clean and modern, provided with very comfortable beds and an abundance of pillows.
Our stay was wonderful. The Terrace Restaurant never failed for our daily breakfast and occasional dinner. The chefs were skilled and the food consistently delicious.
Yamamotoya provided the best ryokan experience we’ve had! We had a beautiful clean room with a gorgeous view of the river. The staff are incredibly attentive and kind.
Fantastic hospitality, food, views and location! Great place to stay, we got the dinner with tajima beef and crab hotpot. Also the breakfast was hearty!
The ryokan is over 300 years old, yet it is very clean and well organized. It is the best value for money among all the places I’ve stayed in Japan.
