An Absolutely Wonderful Experience.
This really feels like a grand hotel, the common spaces are stately with antique furniture and old photographs.
This is absolutely the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed in Japan.
The room, including amenities, are excellent! Big rooms, clean, and I love the showers and bathtub!
Breakfast was very cozy and great food!

We took a taxi from Shin-Kobe to this hotel. The smooth ride was about 30 mins and costs about 95000 Y. We booked two rooms on the second floor, one with dinner and one without.
A great Ryokan experience in a small but interesting spa town. The thermal spa is a family spa meaning you have it to yourselves rather than being public.
The hotel is incredibly peaceful, offering a serene atmosphere. The condition of the bedroom and the onsen room looks even better than in the pictures.

The nice place to attend gathering event.
The hall is big enough for at least 50 peoples.
And there is a small room for the announcers and the guest to preparing and resting.
The Kobe Kitano Hotel is an interesting blend of traditonal, almost quaint, and modern. A small hotel with a big heart! We have both stayed and dined there before, and no doubt will do so again.
After having visited here in September I returned together with my wife. The room and the service is still outstanding. Everything is very personal.
Reason for my second review here is the breakfast.

I stayed here as a Titanium member in February 2026. The location on Rokko Island isn't the most convenient since you need to take the Rokko Liner, but this hotel is a hidden gem.
A very modern, fancy and comfortable hotel in Kobe. The rooms were very clean and modern, provided with very comfortable beds and an abundance of pillows.
Our stay was wonderful. The Terrace Restaurant never failed for our daily breakfast and occasional dinner. The chefs were skilled and the food consistently delicious.

Our group of three spent two nights at this ryokan. These two nights were a high point of our two weeks in Japan.
Truly top class, a really fine establishment that I would put alongside the best 5-star hotel brands, probably even better.

An exceptional ryokan experience in Kinosaki Onsen.
Tucked away from the main streets in the sleepy onsen town of Kinosaki, Yuraku is clean, manages the guests well and lives up to the reviews.
Our stay at Yuraku Kinosaki Spa & Gardens was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. The staff were some of the warmest and friendliest people we have met in Japan.
The most beautiful stay of my life. Service was amazing, they took in our luggage and parked the car for us. We were served the most delicious local foods. Very traditional dinner and breakfast.

What a wonderful hotel! Who wouldn't want to wake up with such a beautiful view of the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, Awaji Island and Osaka Bay? It is located in a more quiet area of Kobe.
The rooms were dated. The beds were overly firm. The pillows were small and only given one per bed. The view from my room was amazing.
