Shikoku hotels with breakfast

Very comfortable hotel. The dinner & hot springs were very nice. 琴之音 hot spring was very special indeed. Shops and nearby tourist spot information were also available.

The day after I stayed at this hotel, I was heading to Dewa Island, so I stayed at this inn near Mugi Port.
It's a compact inn with only 3 floors, but all rooms have ocean views.

A municipal facility located in Kaiyo Town, the southernmost part of Tokushima Prefecture.
The equipment is old, but well managed.

Had a lovely stay in this traditional Ryokan before starting our cycle on the Shimanami Kaido! All the staff were very friendly.

Large room, comfy beds, and wonderfully smelling straw mats. Very cute place would stay again. Short 20m walk from train station through the shopping district.

Some of the best accommodation we’ve ever stayed in! So calm, classy and cool.

My son and I stayed overnight as part of our cycling ride on the Shimanami Kaido. It is right off the trail. After cycling for 30 kms. We were spent.

The staff in this small hotel are pleasant and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet but the breakfast was disappointing with little choice for western guests.

The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic. The location is great. Breakfast is very good.

Overall this is a very comfortable hotel. Our room was a good size and well equipped and had a good view.
Unfortunately our stay was marred by a poor breakfast experience.

Generally nice hotel and location. Room was a little small for two people. The bed is unfortunately right next to the wall so someone has to crawl out.

There was some issues with conversing with the staff at night (there is not much english speaking staff) as we needed help to get the police due to a small car accident for insurance claims.

I wouldn’t say this hotel is very convenient if you aren’t driving. Even the convenient store (Lawson) is abit.

A strange building perched on the side of a gorge above a stunning river.
The hotel itself has a funny quirky Faulty Towers feeling about it initially, but grows on you with its charm.

It’s a generally nice hotel with nice food and service. The interia is slightly old but it’s still comfortable. We had a room with private onsen but still tried the public ones anyway.

The room is clean and spacious.
Prime location, very close to JR Takamatsu station and ferry port to Shodoujima.
There are also other appliances you can borrow from ground floor.

We stayed a few nights. The bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfy, but the room lacked ambience as it was only white walls. The noise of the street wasn't audible.

The hotel is clean and decent, offering a comfortable stay. However, parking can be a bit challenging since you need to use the multi-story car park next door, which costs 1200 yen for 24 hours.

Great place to stay. Good size rooms. Staff were wonderful. Close to places to eat. Not far from train station and ferry. 30 minute taxi ride. Reasonably priced.

Consistent rooms (identical layout across almost all Toyoko Inns) … basic, but clean & comfortable. And centrally located in almost all cities! Compact but well designed… enough Wi-Fi for Zoom calls.

A bit old but great value and friendly staff. Many locals were staying here too, so you wouldn’t feel surrounded by tourists around the hotel or in public bath.

The hotel looks shabby and out of the way, but the staff are kind and everything is put right once you see the onsen. The baths are modern, but have a lovely old feel.

The room was comfortable and had a functional layout, plus excellent views! Easy access to private onsen made it an enjoyable experience. Meals were thoughtful and delicious!

What a gem of a hotel. My husband and I stayed at this lovely hotel in a Japanese room overlooking the river below and the valley beyond. A stunning viewscape. This is a gorgeous property.
