Cheap hotels in Chugoku

Idk what people where expecting for this place, it's literally a budget hotel. Yes the rooms where small, but I didnt expect a whole lot for the price point.

It’s true, it’s seen better days and honestly if I could volunteer to help a little I would because there’s a lot for one person to do which is why it needs a little TLC.

Great location, such lovely staff (Thank you Nana! ) and very clean.

I stayed here in early Febuary 2024 with two other friends. Nomad was the best accomodation we experienced during our time in Japan.

I stayed here the night before I did the Shimanami Kaido. This was actually the first time I've stayed in a dorm and I think Lemonsea really set the bar high for hostels. Very clean and cozy space.

I cannot recommend this place enough! My husband and I stayed here for one night as the final stop of our Hagi–Okan walk, but we truly wished we could have stayed much longer.

Unmatched hospitality—felt so welcome!
Had an amazing time at Nyan Stay. The owner and staff are so kind and helpful! They cooked delicious meals and fetched me to and from the station several times.

My favourite hostel of Japan so far.
Very kind host that really puts effort into socialising and getting to know her guests.

A simple yet beautiful villa with clean, modern amenities and comfortable outlay.
Ocean views from all rooms and an easy 3 minute walk to crystal clear ocean waters.

I recently stayed at this lovely guesthouse and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly friendly, warm, and helpful—always ready to assist with a smile.

It was an amazing experience staying here!
It is a real Japanese house that is over 100 years old and looks beautiful. Everything was clean and comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay. Sleeping on traditional tatami mats was a unique and authentic experience. The accommodation was very clean, well organized, and everything was easy to use and understand.

The owner was incredibly friendly and showed me all the necessary stuff and he is always available when you need to contact him. He owns a restaurant just across the street.

I stayed for 2 nights to do some work. The guesthouse was beautifully designed and clean. The host was responsive on Airbnb and the coffee shop and fish shop prepared delicious meals.

This is a great place to stay when you have no where else to go. The landlord is actually very friendly and helpful!

Stayed here with four people via Airbnb, it was a steal. The beds were extremely comfortable, the value and location are unbeatable, the amenities are great, and the host was kind and responsive.

Simple check in, spacious rooms, affordable, good location, staff can speak English! Recommended!

The location is right near Tokuyama Station, so I could easily access tourist attractions like the zoo and Eigenzan Park from the bus stop in front of the station.
