Chugoku Hotels

We had a lovely stay at the Hilton Hiroshima. The hotel room was very spacious, with large windows. Bathroom was immaculate. We had club access and it was such a benefit, would recommend.

Stayed here for two nights with family. We were extremely impressed with the property — it certainly felt far more refined than a typical Hilton you'd find in North America.

Loved the hotel. The rooms are small but sufficient, clean and everything you need is available on 14th floor in baskets to help yourself.

An exceptionally clean hotel. The food choices were good. It was lovely to be able to get drinks and snacks throughout the day and evening included in the price.

Wow! Perfect location to explore Miyajima Island!
We stayed two nights in a junior suite with a view of the floating torii gate.

The best welcome we’ve experienced in Japan and we’ve been traveling here for a month!

Great place to stay particularly liked the rooftop open bath!

The Ofutei hotel got really excellent and careful staffs who are highly motivated to bring the joyful experience to their customers.

As someone who flew their bike into the Hiroshima Airport, the Hiroshima Airport Hotel was the best place to pick to stay! The service went above and beyond.

Oh wow what a great hotel.

I had two great days staying here!

Hostel perfect for alley lovers.

Great place. Highly recommend.
It's 10min from the station, exactly between the station and the Okayama castle.

Clean & Big room. Affordable price. AC can be adjusted to both heater and air-con. Vending and ice machine at 6th floor. Laundry at 4th and 8th floor.
15 mins walk from Okayama station.

Decent value for its cost. Comes with a common bath. Cleanliness is excellent. Each room has its own aircon system. No major issues with noises from other rooms.

Shops and services just across the road. Walking distance to train station.

Surprisingly big size room business hotel, very clean newish hotel. The only hotel that I have come across requesting you to remove your shoes in the room! 👍 Plenty of free parking if you're driving.

We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
We are a family of three, and since booking two rooms was more affordable than reserving a triple room, we chose that option.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Granvia Hiroshima South Gate.

I've chose Daiwa Roynet for my Fukuyama stay as I got a good deal out of it. Located right next to the station. Definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed throughout my trip as a budget traveller.

We cannot thank the staff enough for helping us when our daughter fell ill and had to go to a hospital.

Located right opposite to the JR Fukuyama Station with 2 minutes walk distance only. This hotel is one of the best option for visiting Fukuyama Castle, Onomichi and Tomonoura.

Located right next to Fukuyama Station. A few minutes from the station.

Wonderful hotel with very clean and up-to-date rooms! They have a beautiful Japanese garden, parking available and breakfast was delicious — all a great value. Also, an onsen is available for.

Spent one night here in a room with the private onsen and we absolutely loved it! The room was super spacious with a nice living room and a couch and there were 2 TVs in total.

Had an excellent time here! Great location, and service. Easily access by bus and trains. Loved the free ramen at night, sauna, hot bath and massage chairs.

I must write a very positive review on this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Koraku Hotel in Okayama.

Pros: Clean good sized room, comfortable bed, close to train station with many eateries around, very helpful staff who helped us make dinner reservations and luggage transfer.

I stayed at the Dormy Inn Okayama for 2 nights in a Standard Twin Room. I’ve stayed at different Dormy Hotels before so this one held no surprises.

This hotel offers great value for money. I loved that we could wear the provided yukata to breakfast, which made it feel relaxed and home-like.

The food here is simply delightful! The pastries are fresh, flaky, and perfectly sweet, while the coffee is rich, aromatic, and full of flavor.

Only a few stops along from Miyajimaguchi station lies this waterfront oasis with delightfully intimate exquisite villas that take full advantage of the beautiful views and its setting.

We had a wonderful experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel. We felt very comfortable and safe as everything was protected with passcodes.

Really friendly staff, we were a little early arriving and were welcomed in by staff who allowed us to store our luggage in the room as it was ready several hours prior to formally checking in.

Place was great for my family holiday. Spacious for 3 adults with individual beds. Location was good with easy access and walking distance. Will definitely book this again.

Superbe location, so central. You can do everything on foot.

There’s actually a direct access from Kurashiki Station through Ario Mall and then towards the Mitsui Outlet — the apartment is right across from the outlet.

Great little place to stay. Convenient location, comfortable and Good kitchen facilities. Easy check in with the code.

This hotel is a total island paradise! The hotel room sea-view is one of the most beautiful that I have seen as you can see the famous water gate in the sea and you have a perfect sunset also.

We had the most perfect two night stay here in mid-May.

Wow! What an incredible place! This was our favourite stay of our whole 2 week Japan adventure. Set in beautiful surroundings, this hotel was a real gem.

What a pleasant experience. I suppose it starts and ends with the exceptionally hospitable service from everyone involved. Also. I loved loved loved my traditional room.

I had a lovely 1-night stay at the Ryori Ryokan Tsurugata, in the Hashima room. I was very grateful to be able to book this room as a solo traveller at a solo rate.

Our room was magnificent with garden access, comfy tatami flooring, well equipped. We were late to check in, so dinner wasn't served in our room, but it was a nice experience anyway.

This was the perfect getaway from the busyness of the bigger cities in Japan. The service was excellent and the rooms were well equipped and comfortable.

If you visit Tomonoura, Migiwatei Ochi Kochi is definitely a very very good choice for accommodation!
1. The room is spacious. All the rooms are equipped with an onsen.

We’ve stayed at Kyukamura Ohkunoshima for 1-2 nights when visiting the island with our kids, and it’s truly the perfect base for a Rabbit Island adventure.

KYUKAMURA OHKUNOSHIMA was one of the best parts of our trip! The hotel itself is a bit dated, but it’s very well maintained and super clean.

I'm giving it 4 stars despite not liking the standard capsule option, since I didn't check that they had better capsule options.

Stayed at CUBE Hiroshima and had a really comfortable experience. The capsules were clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious, and the overall layout felt very well thought out.

I liked the size of the beds and the little locker underneath it for your luggage. It is overall quite spacious and I had no issues with the shared areas like bathrooms and showers.

Stayed here for 3 nights — based myself here when returning from Matsue, intending to travel around Tottori & Kurayoshi.

Fantastic capsule hotel. My room was nicely lit and decent spacing. The only thing I saw that I would recommend is cleaning the air vents of the aircon. There was dust build up on the vent flaps.

The extras included are quite nice, free ice cream, and soft drinks. And free breakfast breads. The massage chair was a great value at 200 yen for 10 minutes.

Really clean and lots of space in rooms and commual area. Good kitchen and lounge, entertainment, have a big TV with netflicks I used. Breakfast was good value and delicious.

As a foreigners, this hostels give me the experiences. The service was good, and the room was clean but is not good smells sometimes.
The rooms was share with another people.

Great value and hospitality! Because the area is relatively isolated from major traffic (a reason people come here! ) there are not as many offerings for restaurants, cafes, or convenience stores.
