Hotel Intergate Hiroshima

Seriously loved it. Nice staff upgraded us to a medium-sized room with two windows & a view that was clean, modern, & attractive. Location is terrific, 15 minutes walk to the peace park, museum, & dome, or to shopping.
But the best was the 14th floor lounge. They offer free guest services there all day, from coffee (all the way to 8 at night) to snacks to happy hour (5-7) to nighttime rice soup. It's stylish, all glass, & a great place to relax after a long day.
So glad we chose this hotel & we'd love to return.

This was a really nice hotel. Has everything you could want and is pretty new. Rooms were decent sized. Beds were a bit firm for me. The bathrooms were nice and had a good deep tub. This hotel offers free alcohol nightly for a couple hours and a great outdoor patio on the 14th floor with sunset views. They offer free soup at night but I didn't try it The only negative is that there is no coffee or coffee machine in the rooms and you had to get coffee upstairs but it's free. It is pretty well located and about 15 minutes walk to atomic bomb dome. I would recommend as one of the better hotels I've stayed at in Japan.

Everything about this hotel was 10/10. The happy hour and snacks are such a wonderful touch, and the view from the lobby on the 14th floor is absolutely stunning. The hotel is new, spotless, and perfectly located.
They even surprised us with a small gift in our room for our honeymoon, such a thoughtful gesture! The rooms are spacious, and the blackout curtains are incredible, you could sleep in easily even on the brightest morning.
The amenities counter has everything you could need: toothpaste, sunscreen, face wash, razors, qtips, and more.
The only thing that could make the experience even better would be a face to face check out to make the departure a bit more personal, instead of fully digital. Other than that, everything was amazing.
Definitely feels more like a 4 star than a 3 star hotel. Would 100% recommend!

Pretty good hotel in great location for visiting Peace Park and Museum. Happy hour a bonus with champagne and a chance to chat with other guests. Breakfast had something for everyone. Staff at reception very helpful. Room size adequate. Pillows awful. I'd stay again, but bring my own pillow!

During my recent stay in Hiroshima, I had the pleasure of discovering a hotel that truly exceeded expectations in several delightful ways. First, the room size was impressively spacious, especially by Japanese standards, where compact accommodations are the norm. It offered plenty of room to relax, unpack and the place the lugguage which made a huge difference after long days of exploring.
One of the standout features was the bathroom mirror design. It was smart. The mirror came equipped with a built-in heater that prevented it from fogging up, even after a steamy shower.
Another unique aspect of the hotel, it provided a rotating selection of drinks and snacks which is available at different times of the day. Whether it was morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening treats, there was always something to enjoy while taking in the view.

A great, centrally located hotel. About a 15 minute walk from the train station. Close to tram lines and about 10 minutes to the Peace Park. Room was typical, in terms of size. Had all the amenities you'd need and actual BLACK OUT curtains! We slept like we were dead. The hotel has a free, two hour, with wine and cocktails, saltines and butter and honey and seaweed chips. We enjoyed hanging out on the outdoor patio. Would stay again.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The clean, modern rooms were comfortable and well-maintained. We especially loved the daily complimentary offerings – an impressive variety of beverages, sweets, snacks and useful amenities that added great value to our stay. While the service wasn’t as personalized as some other hotels we visited, check-in and check-out were seamless and efficient. The location is excellent, easy to walk to major sights or catch public transportation.

This hotel truly impressed me with its cleanliness and modern design. The 14th-floor lobby offers a fantastic view of the city, making every arrival and departure feel special.
The service is excellent, and the hotel feels very comfortable overall, with well-maintained rooms and great amenities. While the location is a bit away from the station, it’s easy to reach by streetcar or bus, so getting around the city is a breeze.
At night, the hotel’s proximity to the lively bar district means you can easily enjoy Hiroshima’s vibrant nightlife. Overall, I’d say this is one of the top hotels in Hiroshima, offering both comfort and convenience for travelers.

Very friendly staff. Twin room had chairs to sit and room for the suitcase. Room was very clean and looked new. The communal bath was also very clean and a nice way to finish a day of sightseeing. The lounge serves coffee/juice most of the day for free. There is a free rice soup snack time from 8pm-10pm. Happy hour from 5pm-7pm serves free wine and some cocktails. Great location right in the middle of the city.

Rooms ok. We had standard double, wouldn’t have wanted to be in it longer than 2 nights. Although room size was just about ok, there was no where to put anything. No wardrobe, no drawers, no hooks. We ended up have all our things piled up on the little sofa. Bathroom was small, a shower over a half size bath. The pjs provided were unpleasant nylon material.
Bathroom amenities are collected from the reception desk, tiny sachets.
The breakfast was ok, not as nice as other places we’ve stayed. Most of the staff are helpful enough, but one or two are just rude. Unusual when we’ve found in most places they can’t do enough for you.
The breakfast area seem to be open most of the day with free tea/coffee and snacks, and wine during the early evening.
On reflection, it may have been worth upgrading to a better room, other reviews mentioned a wetroom and storage.

Nicely located modern hotel. We had a standard double room which was compact but ok for the 3 nights we stayed. The location is great for exploring the city. It was 20min walk from the train station and 20 mins to the Peace memorial park.
All through the day the lounge was open for free drinks and snacks for residents and between 5pm and 7pm there was wine and sparking wine also available.
Breakfast was aimed more at Japanese tastes, not a large amount of 'western' style food, but there was more than enough to fill up.

Our room was much more spacious than anywhere else we stayed in japan! The motion activated lights are a little annoying, but they’re not that bad. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. There is coffee, tea, juice and snacks available all day, as well as the happy hour from 5-7. We didn’t try the swimming pool as we didn’t have time, but it looked really good and is open for most of the day!

Had a great stay at hotel intergate. It was well-located near the central district in hiroshima and within walking distance of all main tourist attractions, multiple convenience stores, and a nice supermarket for fruits (promart).
The hotel itself is located in a slightly dated-looking building, but nevertheless well-maintained. There is an indoor communal bath (onsen) and a lounge with free happy hour, snacks, and ochazuke depending on the time of day. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was fairly well-equipped; no view but still cozy and quite spacious by japan standards. Would come back!

Great location. Very comfortable and good sized rooms. Excellent service and staff. Generous, with free happy hour drinks and food. Breakfast is delicious showcasing local produce.

Bottom line, it had a reasonably convenient location and the bed was decently comfortable so I wouldn’t avoid staying again, but it’s a pretty basic place.
We stayed in a “superior double” room and there was one of tiny window and almost no natural light which made the room feel very oppressive and not superior by any means.
Mattress is western style with springs so was more to our taste than many Japanese hotels. We slept well after requesting extra pillows.
The bathroom was the biggest issue with almost no lighting. You could not use the mirror to do makeup or really see your face at all because the light was so laughably poor. I had to shine my cell phone flashlight in my face to see anything.
Water pressure in shower was poor. The room did have a bathtub which I utilized once on a cold day, so that’s a nice to have.
The bathroom also did not have any hooks to hang up towels, which was very odd. There was a random hanger over the shower rod but we struggled to find ways to dry towels for two people. Needs hooks installed.
I did not use the public baths. There are only two laundry machines for a hotel of hundreds of rooms, so we got lucky that one was available during our stay and it worked well, but you might struggle to access one.
Amenities seem plentiful but aren’t anything to be impressed by. I took a packet of “lotion” because it was cold and dry out, and it was just a weird watery substance?

Great location between the train station and the main downtown/peace memorial. The hotel seems to be fairly new and is certainly well kept. We had a double room that had enough space for us, good Wi-Fi and the standard japanese washroom that worked perfectly for the two of us. The hotel itself has a happy hour that provides some free canapes and drinks.

The only issues I had with this hotel is that I could not change my reservation without losing my "early reservation deal" as I had a sudden plan change before I got there, and that the fan in the room that I could not figure out how to turn off was a bit noisy. I got used to it after awhile though since it was a constant and stable background noise.
Other than that, everything else was good. While the room was not anything special and had a little bit too much grey of a color-scheme, it was comfortable, minimalistic, and got the job done of letting me get some sleep.
I absolutely loved the dining area. It was beautiful and had a great view. All of the staff that I interacted with were friendly and kind.
The location is probably the best-selling point for this hotel. I was initially wary about this being on a main street, but I did not hear any noise from the street below. Easy to get to, and there's alot of things nearby.
