Fantastic capsule hotel. My room was nicely lit and decent spacing. The only thing I saw that I would recommend is cleaning the air vents of the aircon. There was dust build up on the vent flaps.

The extras included are quite nice, free ice cream, and soft drinks. And free breakfast breads. The massage chair was a great value at 200 yen for 10 minutes.

Really clean and lots of space in rooms and commual area. Good kitchen and lounge, entertainment, have a big TV with netflicks I used. Breakfast was good value and delicious.

As a foreigners, this hostels give me the experiences. The service was good, and the room was clean but is not good smells sometimes.
The rooms was share with another people.

Beautiful accommodation and cafe/bar, well worth the walk up the steps with a heavy backpack! The staff are so friendly. Really lovely rooms, delicious draft beer and fantastic views.

The view is, well everyone's mentioned it already.
I loved that guests could use the cafe area as a shared space, great for winding down from all the exploring. The hot lemonade was excellent.

$70 for 3 nights is crazy. The bed is actually big and wide.

I really like this place. The staff are very kind and helpful. Clean and tidy. It is close to the Shinkansen station. Highly recommended.

I stayed two nights and I didn’t want to leave! The owners are lovely people. They made us feel so welcomed and we had some good laughs. The room was clean and comfortable.

We LOVED our stay here! My friend and I stayed here two nights in a mixed dorm room and the beds were super comfortable, good sized lockers, and the breakfast and coffee were 10/10.

We had a wonderful stay at Seaside Hostel Lighthouse! It’s a family-owned place run by a lovely couple, and their kindness really made our visit special.

We stayed in a twin room, it was very clean and very nice and had complementary water. The owners are extremely kind and provided us with medicine and drinks when we let slip we were sick.

Clean and tidy cosy place. The mattress was on tatami mat flooring — quite comfortable. The room was warm. They have a nice common area and a kitchen with free tea and coffee.

Best hostel I've stayed at in Japan. I was in a private room with tatami floors and a futon which was a lot of fun. They have a well-equipped kitchen and are close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Incredibly clean and comfortable hostel. Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Great AC, beds were comfortable, clean showers with great water pressure.

Great for providing a bed at a great price. Bed was comfortable. Only thing needed is a better fan in the bed itself to keep it cooler. Started to get hot.

I stayed for 2 nights, for 2k yen per night. Value for money. Nice facilities, quiet rooms, receptionist very nice and welcoming.
Location is great, just 10 min walk to the atomic bomb dome.

The place is super convenient, prob less than 3 min walk from the station. The rooms are clean, even the older units are very comfortable for a stay.

Excellent host in a beautiful home! My partner and I stayed for only one night in mid-October, 2025, after completing the Shimanami Kaido.

A charming house located close to the train station, aeon, and onomichi hondori. There are also a lot of good restaurants and cafes nearby!

A perfect guest-House, Beautiful and quiet place, friendly and helpful staff, And it's very easy to reach. Probably one of the best places on our tour in Japan, highly recommended.

Overall the staff are nice and welcoming and the atmosphere is fine.
The curtain thing is a bit of an issue since it does not cover the sight into the bed.

A great value for money. Bed was cozy. The common area was huge with kitchen, dining area. A great place to socialize people from different countries I would say.

Despite you have to make your own bed, it is generally clean and I didn't experience any discomfort during my stay.

Perfect choice for an affordable and clean Hostel near the main attraction. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff friendly, approachable and uncomplicated.

The Hostel was as the hostels should be.
There were a place for communication, a kitchen with all needed facilities. The dorms was quiet and clean.

Hotel staff was very nice, location of the hotel is great, near the memorial park and 25min of the Hiroshima Castle by walk.
Showers are clean and spacious.

Incredible location just across from the Hiroshima Peace Park and museum, and the main shopping and commercial district.

Our family of 4 stayed here 5 nights, in the room with 2 bunk beds. The space is tight, but there is a small couch that can seat 3 people, and having to only rent one room saved on costs.

We booked 2 nights through Airbnb after cycling the Shimanami Kaido from Imabari and it was a great spot to recover and rest.

This is a very beautiful guest house on the banks of a clear river.

I absolutely loved my stay at Guesthouse Kusunoki. It was quaint, peaceful, and impeccably clean. I knew the reviews were good, but my stay exceeded my expectations!

My mattress and nightstand/shelf had a lot of hairs on it. Dusty, seems like the shelf hasn’t been wiped in a long time. Wasn’t nice to pick all the hair off so I could place my things there.

Common room is very tiny, practically a corridor turned into a kitchen counter and a tiny table.

Quiet location in a residential street but close enough to walk to Hiroshima station. Not many food places around but we still found adequate places.

Nice hostel but there is currently a loiter sleeping in the common room most of the day & during the night, which made it out of bounds for us. After a busy day of exploring it would of been nice to

Self service hotel in central Hiroshima. It’s got great access by bus and tram to all local sightseeing spots. Honestly in a perfect location. A really nice traditional Japanese lounge.

Great location, easily reachable by tram from the station. Or around a twenty minute walk.

Super convenient location, very close to the port and the "main street" Shiomachi.
The staff is very nice and pleasant.

A good spot to stop along the Shimanami Kaido. More of a hostel than a hotel. Our room had bunk beds and a futon and we had to put the sheets on ourselves. Shared washroom and showers.
