Cheap hotels in Chugoku

"One of the best hotels on our trip" according to our kids. Very nice place, easy access to the Hiroshima castle, garden and the main attraction — the Hiroshima Peace Park and museum.

A fairly priced hotel a short walk from the tourist spots of Hiroshima. The place is modernized and the quality was good.

This was my first time staying in the toyoko chain and it was a purely positive experience. This branch by the tottori station is brand new so obv super clean.

I'm giving it 4 stars despite not liking the standard capsule option, since I didn't check that they had better capsule options.

Stayed at CUBE Hiroshima and had a really comfortable experience. The capsules were clean, quiet, and surprisingly spacious, and the overall layout felt very well thought out.

It's interesting place were tourist can have their time.

Business hotel, we liked the shape of the room, made better use of space. We had nice views from higher floor. Breakfast was good.

Highly recommended!

We are touring Japan and wanted to visit Onomichi. We found this fabulous old hotel, it is run by a Japanese man and his Thai wife, both charming. The place is filled with Asian curios.

I stayed here for two nights with my friend and we enjoyed it a lot.
The room is a little old, but it is comfortable and spacious.

I stayed at this hotel for five days instead of the original plan for one day due to an unavoidable situation during my free trip.

Simple but necessary. The structure is physically separated from the neighboring rooms, so you don't have to worry about noise. There is a convenience store right in front, and a supermarket nearby.

Free frozen lunch boxes and coffee were provided.

The host is incredibly nice and gracious, he cooked us some delicious ramen and then insisted on doing the dishes. The accommodations are clean and beautiful. The view from the house is terrific.

I ❤️ Powpow Onomichi.
Of all my Japan travels thus far, and even Asia travels, I have never felt more welcome and at home than here.

There are two buildings: the annex and main building. They were remodeling the main building but we still had a good view of the lake. Check in was easy and quick. There was someone directing parking.

I lived in Matsue for four years and was aware of this hotel but I’ve never stayed here before. The staff was very kind and helpful despite our lack of Japanese.

People working in this hotel are extremely nice and helpful. They do speak English a bit! The room are clean, was no problems, they got free ice cream, umbrellas to borrow, breakfast.

Loved the accomodations.
1. Free coffee/ drinks.
2. Free bun.

One of the "aBest" capsule places I've stayed in! (Pun intended) I stayed for a total of 6 nights. The room is spacious with a built in desk with a lock.

Best budget hotel I've ever stayed throughout Japan. Location is very near to the station with everything nearby. The mall Icot Nicot itself where the hotel is located at is already good enough.

I chose to come with my boyfriend!
The room and bathroom are spacious and nice!
It's clean and comfortable!
I would like to use it again.

It was my first time using it. The room was clean and the food menu was good. The nightly rate is not too expensive, so I would like to use it again.

I stayed at Sejour Inn Capsule and had an excellent experience. This is a top-quality capsule hotel: everything is beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained.

We stayed for one night in one of the private rooms. The private room is apart from the main room and separated by a fabric shutter. It contains two pods, two lockers, a desk, a kettle and a tea set.

This was the last hotel we stayed in before returning home and it exceeded all expectations.

Amazing Suite close to all the main attractions in Hiroshima, super friendly & helpful staff. Would stay here again.

A warm place to stay.
Host are super nice, the place filled with nice music and the curry taste really good.
The atmostphere is healed my tiredness.

Great atmosphere and great host! We started cycling from Onomichi to Hiro, but we got surprised by heavy rain.

Shops and services just across the road. Walking distance to train station.

Surprisingly big size room business hotel, very clean newish hotel. The only hotel that I have come across requesting you to remove your shoes in the room! 👍 Plenty of free parking if you're driving.

As I love heritage houses, this one is tops!

Near the station, 12 minutes to a supermarket by walk. Very quiet neighborhood, peaceful garden and a very informative host.
We spent 3 nights in this guest house and it was great!

I am really impressed by how helpful the hotel staff are. Special thanks to Ms. Inada for her great assistance to help me on luggage issue.

I really like this hotel. Everything is within walking distance, and the staff is incredibly friendly. There are many attractions nearby and plenty to explore.

Great place. Highly recommend.
It's 10min from the station, exactly between the station and the Okayama castle.

Clean & Big room. Affordable price. AC can be adjusted to both heater and air-con. Vending and ice machine at 6th floor. Laundry at 4th and 8th floor.
15 mins walk from Okayama station.

Location: 5 minutes walk from Yonago Station. Close to Aeon Mall.
Service: Daily cleaning is not included, but is provided upon request.

This is a business hotel located about 5 minutes walk from Yonago Station.
It was conveniently located in the city center in front of the station.
This time we used a double room.

Parking is a bit confusing, as lots are separated from the main building, but it's easy and free as guest, so that's great.
Room is clean and pretty new, everything works and well-built.

On August 8th, my family (6 adults and a 2 month old baby) wanted to enjoy a BBQ in a different atmosphere, so we spent one night at Kuroshiomaru, which we had been interested in for a while.

In conclusion, this is the best accommodation!
Thank you for your kind response even though I checked in late at night.
