Stay 1 night in Okayama, had a great stay at the hotel. Hotel is very new, refreshing vibe lobby, friendly staffs. Room is decent big for Japan standard. Clean well maintained facility, comfy bedding.

Wonderful place. Located on the outskirts of the city, it offers a more quiet place for you to relax. Nicely decorated, a small shop and comfortable beds.

Stayed 1 night with my family. Very traditional minimalist Japanese guest house with futons and sliding paper doors.

I liked the size of the beds and the little locker underneath it for your luggage. It is overall quite spacious and I had no issues with the shared areas like bathrooms and showers.

Stayed here for 3 nights — based myself here when returning from Matsue, intending to travel around Tottori & Kurayoshi.

It's a traditional Machiya style hostel. It's great to get the experience of living in an vintage home in Japan. And the internet speed is unbelievably fast😂.

Loved the place‘s atmosphere, including browsing through the books in the kitchen area. Staff was super nice, too.

This inn is located near Kiyomizu Temple, a famous temple in the mountains of Yasugi City.
I thought it was an inn, but it seems to be called a culinary inn.

I ordered a lunch box from Shokotokan for a company event! I usually get vegetarian cuisine, but this time I was curious because it was an omakase bento.

This is a Japanese business hotel. We stayed here during a road trip. The room was small, but functional and clean. The price was very reasonable.

Very quiet rooms, although the mains outlets are placed in inconvenient places and the floors are quite dusty around the edges.

The lovely owners of this little guesthouse were so welcoming and helpful. We had a spacious well appointed room on the ground floor. Shared kitchen and bathroom… both perfect.

The Koeran couple are so nice, and they provided the great services for our travellers.

It was my first time using it. The room was clean and the food menu was good. The nightly rate is not too expensive, so I would like to use it again.

The extras included are quite nice, free ice cream, and soft drinks. And free breakfast breads. The massage chair was a great value at 200 yen for 10 minutes.

Very nicely kept hostel. Clean and spacious. The shared dorm had 4 surprisingly large and comfortable beds with a curtain to allow for privacy.

A nice and economical hotel at Kurashiki. Its interior is quite well designed and grand. The afternoon tea is a very nice touch and gives this hotel it's unique appeal.

Amazing value for the price they're asking, expected a shabby business hotel, but it turned out to be a super modern, international standard hotel with an impressive lobby.

Decent value for its cost. Comes with a common bath. Cleanliness is excellent. Each room has its own aircon system. No major issues with noises from other rooms.

As I love heritage houses, this one is tops!

Near the station, 12 minutes to a supermarket by walk. Very quiet neighborhood, peaceful garden and a very informative host.
We spent 3 nights in this guest house and it was great!

On August 8th, my family (6 adults and a 2 month old baby) wanted to enjoy a BBQ in a different atmosphere, so we spent one night at Kuroshiomaru, which we had been interested in for a while.

In conclusion, this is the best accommodation!

Quiet, rather comfortable bedding, not badly located. I liked the interior design which seemed rather new and the place was clean.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient location. But no staff present ever. Felt very "industrial", every interaction happened through a touchscreen at the entrance.

The rooms are a bit worn. It was probably an old building, but it was renovated, and it feels like a long time ago.

The rooms are just a little bigger than other Japanese hotel rooms we have been so far. But it definitely makes a difference when travelling with a bicycle (and therefore have too much luggage).

Very clean and comfortable hotel experience. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom and refrigerator were cleaned well.

Nice hotel with a solid breakfast. We stayed in a triple, which was quite spacious. The included breakfast is very good, with a split between western and Japanese food.

I got what I expected. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. English not the strongest, yet sufficiently enough to get basics.
It's good to mention that the facility is not the newest.
