My husband and I got married at Villa la Vedetta this past summer. Alina was one of the best parts about my entire wedding planning. She was the best planner I could have ever wished for. The Villa was by far my best experience in Florence. The staff makes you feel completely welcomed. They go above and beyond for you. Not only is the view the best view in Florence, but the food is also incredible at this Villa. I can not wait until the next time I’ll be back.

Magnificent views of Florence from the room (and the bathroom, too) and the breakfast lounge! I loved the mix of glass and marble and the matching colors of the interior decor and room furnishings. Valentina and the entire staff were very friendly and accomodating. Food and service were impeccable. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Villa la Vedetta is really special. The dominant position on Florence offers breathtaking sunsets and unforgettable shots.
Poolside dinner is a touch of elegance without exaggeration, for those who love the sought-after but discreet places.
The cuisine is great, I would say sublime, and the kindness of the staff is priceless.
Here I always feel comfortable, pampered and spoiled, accompanied by sought-after dishes and a wine list studied in detail.
Perfect for a break just outside the city that gives the experience of having Florence in your pocket.

Villa La Vedetta is beautiful and the staff is excellent. The property is older but well kept. The rooms have great space, the breakfast is excellent and the views are fantastic. The front desk staff has been so helpful with setting up shuttle service and the time I lost my key card.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Pool lovely on a hot day. Breakfast excellent and view breathtaking but Romatica rooms a little tired, marked walls, loose toilet seat. Housekeeping inconsistent although bedding and towels spotless sometimes you get tea/coffee/milk and mini bar topped up other days not. Private events run at hotel but no warning to guests so haven't felt able to use the balcony terrace for 4 nights in a row, which has the best views of all.

We went to Florence at the end of our Honeymoon. And the stay at Villa La Vadetta was just perfect. We enjoyed every minute of it. The staff was so helpful and pleasant, the breakfast was good and they hade some good res wines too. Not bad!

Amazing view, lovely staff, food never disappointed me. Breathtaking view from the terrace, looking over the city of Florence. Is pricey, you pay for what you get. Great for the experience though.

Our daughter & son in law got married in the Sala Rosa & had their reception here in 2013 everything was absolutely perfect — we have returned to celebrate their 5th anniversary — as usual the food, service & ambiance was great, could not be faulted — cannot recommend highly enough.

Luxury Hotel, ideal for ceremonies and events, placed in a privileged position a few steps from Piazzale Michelangelo from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Florence. The swimming pool with whirlpool area is remarkable.

Stayed here on our honeymoon. The staff were all wonderful. Nothing was any trouble. Room was fully stocked for us. Comfortable beds, shutters on the windows, extra pillows, mini bar, TV with limited English news channels. Undisturbed by other guests. Restaurant served possibly the best food I've ever eaten. Huge wine list including some important super Tuscans first wine buffs. Free shuttle service to and from the edge of the town centre provided by the hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast each morning. We would love to return.

Our stay in Villa la Vedetta was absolutely marvelous experience. Traveling across Europe, we needed a place close to the historical downtown that would allow us to enjoy all Florence has to offer and at the same time have a comfortable, not crowded, accommodation with a nice pool to fall back and rest with kids. From the moment we had arrived, we were smitten by very helpful (travel agency did not make our reservation clear), knowledgeable (thanks for all the recommendations from where to go and where to eat as a family) and ultimately extremely caring staff. Our stay was truly 5 star with quite possibly the best view of of the old town possible. A 10 minutes walking distance to the old town; and car safely parked in villa's beautiful garden. Villa la Vedetta is on my personal recommendation list to all of my family and friends.

This hotel, a 19th-century villa, is beautiful and unique. We stayed for 5 nights experiencing excellent service from every point of view. Using the internet booking sites you can get interesting offers, often the best among similar hotels in Florence. The hotel is located in the hills but is 15 minutes walk from the Center, and still provide a free shuttle bus from 9 to 19, so if you count returning after a dinner at the center you have to climb or use a taxi. Inside the structure there is also an excellent restaurant with prices average and a free parking area which is an important service from the point of view of expenditure, as a garage in the center of the city gets to get up to £ 50 a night for a high cubic capacity.
