Everything about our recent stay was wonderful! The staff was absolutely amazing and committed to making us feel at home during our stay. The breakfasts were outstanding! I can’t thank every single employee that we encountered during our 4 days there enough for making this a place where we felt like royalty. Just a true example of the highest standard of customer service!

This majestic Villa is what I would expect a historical villa to look like. 5 star service at its finest, what a beautiful location! From weddings to luncheons and maybe a luxury spa getaway. For the 1st time I was so captivated by it's beauty I forgot to take pictures!

We stayed in villa Cora for 6 days. It’s my first time LOST something in the 5 stars hotel. First night I put a PAIR of Chanel earrings on the desk next to the bed, after the clean lady (or someone who took breakfast away) came next day it’s GONE. And there’s a staff just told me “ you should keep your stuffs in the safer. ” (yes, I should have but I never thought that would happen in a 5 stars hotel) They also told me go to the police officer (but nothing will help to get them back, plus I have only few days left in Florence. ) I checked all my luggage also everywhere in the room over and over again after We left the hotel also found out I have a new PRADA small travel bag has gone as well (which I left in my room) Villa Cora is a beautiful place and workers there have nice attitude but that kind of thing happens is UNBELIEVABLE and makes me SPEECHLESS (no one solve the problem) worst experience in Italy.

Exquisite, unique, luxurious, historic, peaceful hotel near the city center of Florence. The service and quality are remarkable, the breakfast is sensational. The staff is delivering impeccable services and the concierge are extremely knowledgeable. The rooms are detailed with historical paintings, but a little narrow. The pastries for the breakfast could be better for such a high quality hotel. This is the best hotel I've stayed in my entire life!

Poolside restaurant visited for business lunch. Attentive and very friendly service, unfortunately in total contrast to the dishes tasted. Vegan burger difficult to eat and without a definite taste. Classic beef burger with little seasoned potatoes, overcooked even though it was required to blood and served with inadequate bread, too high and "sticky". It's a shame. A great location and a great room staff not supported by the kitchen. Which, in a restaurant, is all to say.

Never seen in my entire people so slow. Asked for a vegetarian sandwich, received a pork club sandwich Asked for a sewing kit, received a shower kit Asked for having my luggage ready at 2 and nothing was ready. (I missed the train btw) Nobody speak really English beside "yes sir, I'll check sir" Service is really bad. During the evening my crazy neighbor knock very loudly and yell at us because our kids were making noise, a guy from the hotel was in the room installing a bed and didn't sit anything. The crazy neighbor told us if he come back he will be more mad and we should be careful. We were very afraid and the hotel didn't react. 3 stars maximum.

Location Professional Staff!

This is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever eating in. The place is so beautiful with its golden ceilings dining hall, the peaceful gardens and amazing pool… Add to that the excellent food and service… I felt like a princess for a night. If I could, I would give it 10 stars.

Participated in a banquet here — wow. Unbelievably beautiful, and the food was fantastic. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

A very luxurious hotel and SPA with spectacular attention. It is a very quiet place to go for a romantic evening or relax for a while. It is not advisable to go with small children.

Good location, main house is unbelievable, breakfast is complimentary and excellent. Staff is very friendly. Would not recommend the restaurant for dinner, small portions of ok food at very high prices. Cigar bar had only three cigars at the time and were very pricey. Lunch was very good. Overall great experience.

We had our wedding at Villa Cora and stayed for 6 nights. All the utterly charming staff, from reception, spa, restaurants, shuttle bus, housekeeping, and in particular the fabulous Clarissa from events, made our wedding and our stay a dream and even when things didn't go according to plan, they were amazing. Yes, the hotel is jaw droppingly beautiful and luxurious in every way but it is the staff who make it extra special. It's always nice to see the same staff as well! Thank you Villa Cora, we cannot wait to come back!

Bella Villa! It is really a gem. Probably the best hotel from Florence. For sure we will be back. Nice service, friendly people. Really nothing bad to say about it. We stayed for five days and it was perfect. Highly recommend it!

Stunning venue, the ballroom is amazing and the breakfast fabulous. The pool is lovely as are the views. The rooms are dated and the pizza and champagne night was overly expensive. But overall fabulous.

Worth every penny. It's not cheap but the extras included (wellness room (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, aromatherapy shower) private transfer to/from the city, free ice cream by the pool, incredible coffee, amazing breakfast) and most importantly the outstanding service from the staff are worth it. I've never been treated so well in my life. This is better treatment then the Ritz or… when you need medical attention at the hospital. I cannot say enough nice things about this grand Villa / hotel.

Simply amazing, personalized service on a beautiful property. We stayed in more than one room, and each had its own personality. The staff is helpful, but discrete, and very attentive. You always felt there were more staff than guests, so no need was unmet. The pool was great to have during the hot summer. The bartender and staff remember what you ordered from day to day, and either, for example, bring your coffee exactly the way you like it, or, as the bartender did, create a custom cocktail based on your history. They also deliver their service without a hint of snobbery — and you won't feel out of place whether you are wandering around in flip-flops or Ferragamos.

We've just spent a wonderful weekend at the Villa Cora, a beautiful boutique hotel, which still managed to retain a touch of old Italian grandeur! The villa is perfectly situated in the hills, 15 mins from Florence city centre!
Nothing was too much trouble for the super-friendly staff @ Villa Cora!
The property itself was idyllic, the rooms were housed in 2 or 3 villa-type buildings! Our Classic room 215 was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool area & countryside beyond! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary which the management very kindly acknowledged with a bottle of chilled prosecco & fruit on arrival in our room! Even before we arrived at the hotel, when I was liaising with the concierge Lorenzo about restaurant reservations & a walking tour of Florence, everyone was super efficient & helpful! They even managed to get us last minute tickets to the Uffizi gallery!
All the restaurant staff & particularly the manager Giampiero were so helpful at every meal we enjoyed at Villa Cora, suggesting dishes & wines we should try, which only enhanced our experience!
The food we enjoyed was delicious at every meal, from the magnificent buffet breakfast to our dinner by the pool on our first night!
Villa Cora provides a shuttle service to & from Florence which is very convenient, but when we missed the bus to start our walking tour of Florence, the doorman ordered us a cab & insisted on the hotel paying for it as we had missed the bus!

Beyond the majesty of the place, it is the extreme kindness and skill of the people who work there that have really touched me :)
Besides, I've never eaten such an exceptional tartare! (Thanks to the chief! )
The only weakness of this establishment is that you have to leave… But then again, a touching attention for the taxi ride to the airport…
In short, I put you 5 stars but that's because … I think you're exceptional!

This is a very beautiful hotel, the highest level of service! If you are considering it to visit, choose without a doubt.

Best hotel in Florence, very luxurious and comfortable!

An out-of-this-world kind of place. Absolut must if you want to treat and pamper yourself in Florence. One of the perks of Villa Cora is its location: not far away from the historical city center (aprox 20 min walk) but isolated from the usual chaos and noise of the town (and there is a complimentary shuttle service anyway)

My wife and I and another couple stayed 6 nights the end of September 2015. It is a 6 star in my opinion. The service wasexcellent and the accommodations are outstanding. My wife wanted to take the sheets home! From the Bell staff, the food and beverage staff to the young man at the pool, our stay was as good as it gets. We would go back in a heartbeat and probably will. If you want to visit Tuscany and Florence this is the number one place to stay.

We have stayed for 3 nights and I love every room in this hotel. The interiors are very romantic and palatial. Every sunset, my hubby and I would share a bottle of wine on the rooftop terrace overlooking the beautiful city of Florence. For one night we had dinner in the restaurant, the food wasn't great, it took too long for the main course to be served, and it was not a good value for money. However breakfast and the service was very good.

It's not even the hotel: * L is an historic villa with stunning interiors! With its spa and swimming pools! There is Free Wi-Fi with good speed throughout the hotel! The hotel restaurant is excellent! Can request the Michelin star is so tasty and original Cook! I am in awe! In this hotel should definitely visit.

Our 5th or 6th stay here over the last 22 years. Love this place. ❤.
