We stayed at the Villa Cora in a family room, the room was split level with separate rooms meaning we could all have a good nights sleep. Gifts were given to our boys which was a lovely touch.
Check in was easy but disappointed that we only got water when others were provided with Prosecco, but it was okay. Parking is on site but it fills up.
The pool area and bar was nice, the pool itself was cool but bearable.
Views from the rooftop terrace are amazing and it’s lovely to see Florence.
Breakfast was tasty and agin, the boys were looked after well by the staff.
The hotel itself is beautiful, but the service could be spotty sometimes despite their best intent to help.
I think there are too many people trying to help you without a system in place, causing miscommunication. For example, we were waiting for the shuttle for about 50 minutes as the shuttle wasn’t dispatched until we called again in 30 minutes. Another example was during breakfast, we asked if we need to sign something before we could leave, we were waiting for another 5 minutes and asked another waitress only to find out we didn’t need to sign anything. To be fair, they did try to recover and compensate us.
Other than that, the hotel is beautiful and the property is well maintained with one of the most beautiful view in Florence.
