Repubblica Bed & Breakfast B&B Repubblica

I really loved this place. I stayed for 2 nights and everything was good! Rooms were a bit small but they were cozy (we stayed at Flower suite & black suite).
Staff were welcoming and offering everything you could ask for, they really were so kind to us. The accommodation was in the heart of Florence everything was close. There are so many restaurants in the area.

Great B&B hotel. Very modern and clean. Rooms very elegant, bed comfortable. Service amazing. Made to order breakfast available. Great location. Definitely recommend it. Staff went beyond my expectations, even order a taxi for me day before my departure. She kept in contact with me via text to make sure I got my taxi and was on my way.

Rooms were small and the aircon didn’t work overly well.
There is a lift to the rooms as we were up a few levels. Good for luggage handling.

This room was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of this B&B is perfect, a short walk to all the main sites. The breakfast at the sister hotel was perfect with plenty to choose from and a short walk from the B&B. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This accommodation was perfect for our short break. It is worth noting that of a night it can be quite noisy as you’re situated above a busy street, which of course cannot be helped. Depends if you want a to sacrifice noise level for a good location. It is also worth noting that they do not turn on the A/C until April which is understandable. We were fortunate with the weather so it was quite warm in the room, but didn’t affect our stay too much.

Not close to the check in hotel. Had to lug 5 suitcases about 6 blocks down cobblestones streets through crowds of people. Room was very plain. Fridge did not really work. The bathroom had a step up and the shower step up was about 2 steps up. The shower was very skinny. I'm 5 foot and 115 lbs and had a hard time taking a shower in it, the shower head was on the middle of the shower. No shelf for your shower items, I had to put them on the shower floor. Housekeeping never restocked toilet paper, we ended buying some when we were out. They did keep our luggage for us at the check in hotel when we checked out and our train wasn't for a few hours. The location was really good, but if your looking for quiet this hotel is not for you. There is a small coffee area with cookies everyday. We walked everywhere, except to and from the train station, we took an Uber. Recommend going to the Accademia museum, wine window at Babae, Osteria Santo Spirito (make reservations! ), the Ponte Vecchio bridge, Piazza de Michelangelo at sunset, City market, sit by the canal at Signorvino.

Great location and generous space in room, but it needs an update desperately and a thorough cleaning. The bathroom is gross with mould everywhere and broken shower door that could potentially be dangerous. Half the lights don't work neither the TV and there are no common areas, reception is at a neighbour hotel but the B&B itself has a sad little room to make a coffee and depressing corridors… you pay for the location and the size… But finding a place at the same. Price a little less centric in a better state would have been a better choice…

We were really pleased with B&B Republica. We highly recommend a balcony room. The building is stunning, old style with a vintage lift and beautiful features. The room was large and well equipped. We had a fridge, large bathroom, excellent air conditioning. The balcony was great to have, to relax and read and have a drink in the evenings. The location is phenomenal, we were minutes from every attraction in Florence. Genuinely loved our stay.

Arrived early with my husband and they immediately showed us to our room. It was spectacularly clean. The balcony in our room was charming and we enjoyed a bottle of wine out there. The staff was very nice and answered all of our questions. When our air conditioning was not working, they sent someone to look at it immediately. It was quiet all night long so we got good sleep. Located right in the square! Highly recommend to couples or friends traveling!

So far super impressed with quality of the bedding, towels and bathroom products. Air conditioning working well and a must have on 35C day.

This is a lovely B&B right in the middle of the main shopping street in Florence. Beautiful old building with high ceilings, tall windows and modern interior. Spotlessly clean and you will not get better or more convenient location. Previous reviews regarding noise are correct; the street noise is never ending — even in the middle of the night when the bins are being emptied and the streets cleaned. My first purchase was ear plugs! I wouldn't hesitate to book this again though, we had a great stay.
