What can I say. Fantastic people. Rosanna and her family are very very friendly and kind. Very comfortable rooms. Ideal temperature for those who want to escape from the sultry heat.

Stunning rustic hotel.
Unfortunately I only stayed the one night.
Stone floors and stairs could be a problem for some.

We stayed at the Giorni Resort in the 2nd week of October. We picked it because we wanted to be in the countryside and it was rated so highly and looked beautiful.

Perfect. I would even say it’s the best place to stay in the entire city.

Cozy and quiet environment in a modern and clean structure. Very friendly and helpful managers, super breakfast. Too bad time flew… a few kilometers from Matera. Magical City!

The bed and breakfast is very close to the center and the Sassi of Matera. The lady is very helpful, the rooms are well furnished and the breakfast is satisfying. Advised.

Excellent location and welcome from the friendly and kind owner who makes up for the absence of a lift. Tip: bring light hand luggage!

Good place to stay at Matera!
Really easy to arrive by car, and if you're VERY LUCKY, You'll be able to park at the very same street without any cost.

This was the highlight of our trip as far as accommodation goes. Fairly plain from the outside but once inside it is beautifully decorated and very elegant.

Chiara runs a fantastic operation. The rooms are modern, comfortable, clean and very nicely decorated (with A/C) right in the Sasso Caveoso district of Matera.

Chiara's B&B is truly as special as the amazing town of Matera. We felt her caring and welcoming reception as soon as we arrived from a long stressful drive from Salerno.

Welcoming, clean structure, with a dose of attention to the environment.
The rooms are welcoming, around you will find little treats for guests such as slippers, coffee pods, herbal teas.

We were very pleasantly impressed by our experience at Myricae, the location allowed us to enjoy Matera to the fullest, the rooms were super clean, comfortable and welcoming.

This was our second stay at the Masseria Fontana di Vite and it was a marvellous experience yet again.

Very nice but can be a bit improved. We told the staff on our first day that the windows shutter was broken and very difficult to manipulate. No one has been sent to repair it during our stay.

Very friendly and charming hosts. Excellent value for the area. Big humidifier and air cons in rooms. Organised tour is a must if you are only there for a night.

What a beautiful experience sleeping in a cave that was very comfortable! The breakfast included was delicious. The host snd hostess were very friendly.

Wonderful cave hotel was truly a magical experience! From the US and Domenica was wonderful — she helped arrange airport transportation, a tour, and gave us restaurant recommendations!

This was our first stop after landing in Italy and what a wonderful way to rest up and acclimatise to the time change. A beautiful property — truly like visiting a Palazzo versus staying in a hotel.

B&B located in an ancient and characteristic building, renovated and furnished respecting its history and preserving many original elements that make it really special in the eyes of the tourist.

The B&B exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived the when we recieved a warm welcome from Cristina and her mother.

Lovely hotel located right in the caves of Matera. Welcomed by one of the owner who was amazing and available for every question we had and very helpful to find a delicious restaurant for our diner.

Really lovely family room for the five of us, situated in a tranquil part of the old town. Very helpful and welcoming staff and delicious homemade breakfast. Touristic recommendations were great too.

Fabulous rooms, not to mention the excellent bathroom, staff and courtesy at the top. I will be back.
